Yes, what do we learn from a no lynch? Nothing

What can we learn from a lynched civ? A lot if we go about it the right way.

No lynches are a baddie's best friend. They kill another player that night, and there's no revealed roles for the civvies to work with.

I'm going to have to respectfully disagree with you here. I think keeping more civilians alive is better than killing more civilians.

I hate no lynches as well, but with how man civvies we have lynched I don't think we can just use lynches to gain information at this point.

I'm 95% sure that giving your hint in chat would be against the rules as you can't share host info, but iunno.

As it stands, there is one question that would all but tell you exactly where one item is.

I kinda wish i knew what the reward was for this, if it's even worth getting...It's annoying because, at least by the way i was able to put the info together, there's a few option for who had what when.

Not to mention the wanky mechanics, like if someone has a item, are they allow to take it with them? Can someone have more than one item at a time? Is the Island technically related to water?
There's a lot of unknowns.

Okay, so I did my usual speed game read through. Here you go...

Dom - At first he was contrary in a playful way. Next was talked about not having much time/zeal for Mafia right now. Ten he gives SD the stink eye for talking about posting puzzle answers in the thread. He throws out suspicions here and there, but doesn't say anything to back up his suspicions. His voting record: no votes to the civs who have been lynched.

Fingersplints - She's been helpful to other players. She has explaind her suspicions. Nothing pings me about her.

Made - Replaced in, of course. He's invested, talkative which is good, but I feel he's been a bit cocky in feeling like he is completely trusted b/c he was replaced. He is one of my top suspects for this behavior alone.

Metalmarsh - seems level-headed, active and helpful.

Mr Rearranger - I'm not sure what to think after rereading him. He's hard to read...could be affiliated with either IMO.

Niju - She doesn't post much, but her posts seems to be meaningful/helpful. She is hard to read too.

Russ - He seems to have a lot of helpful things to say. He seems to be trying and coming up with suspicions, however I am not sure that his suspicions have much weight. So, I am pinged by that.

Snow Dog - Just overall seems like he is playing a pretty civ game.

Llama - I remember reading that some thought he wasn't posting as much as usual. May be true, but the page numbers seem to suggest he is about average for this game. He had four pages of posts like several other players. Anyway...his posts are helpful and he voices suspicions.

Nothing else to say, unfortunately. Rereading each player didn't really bring about any new pings, but there you go. Maybe you will be encouraged to do your own read through and post on everyone. I know many of us are getting discouraged by lynch results.

so, it's a bit weird the lynch yesterday. it went from a tie between Russ and Dom to Liz. I think that we should look at who started/subtly pushed the Liz suspicion. We're they saving either of those guys?

Day 7: Dragged Down

Dom has been eliminated by Link.

The Old Man of the Dragon Labyrinth wrote this down on his scroll:

White dragon / Parapa / Trophy
Red dragon / Maze Island / Candle
Blue dragon / Midoro / Raft
Yellow dragon / Island / Letter
Black dragon / Three-Eye-Rock / Hammer
Green dragon/ Ocean / Boots

“This looks right to me,” he said. “For each correct connection, you will win one rupee, for a maximum of eighteen. If you feel I’ve made a mistake, PM the Host!”
It is now Day 7. You have 24 hours to lynch someone.

I would lean towards MM. 99% sure that is where I'm voting tomorrow if I'm still alive.

I realize I'm not in the spot where anyone should be listening to me right now, but I can't explain myself any better. I'll leave it at that until tomorrow because I don't want to get mouthy in fear of dying either. I also have no fear of dying since it will be a relief. :p

I also don't feel great about MM and MR.

could all 3 be bad? do you think they are all going to push for each other now for a bit of civvie cred? it's either that or I am seriously wrong about someone else.. Maybe Elo :/

It's not as lost as it might seem. It all depends on how many guardians vs. underlings have been night killed. I can't imagine baddie having all of the triforce piece, but even if all that's true and guardians are dead after having all of those things, they need to kill ganon, meaning we have time before things are lost lost. (inb4 Indy wins...)

Yikes. Sorry, busy couple of days. RIP Liz and Dom :( As for my Liz vote, as I'd said before, I was a bit pinged with her sabie vote explanation to "get it over with," among other things, but at that time I was after Russ for weird behavior. I had since recanted my suspicion of Russ yesterday and Liz had again pinged me with her reluctance to solve the puzzle in-thread. Clearly, those were the wrong reasons.

And now, I don't know what to think. Re-read time, I suppose.

Linki @Made - How are you so sure of these things you are saying? Did I miss something?
