RIP Nutella.
Also, this theme is way memeier than I ever knew. All these gifs and things I didn't know were from the Wire.

Re: The Wire Mafia
Rej was bad and lynched d2. If you wanna look at a lynch to analyse start with that one. Though you'll have to iso the host to find the poll post.
D2 also had a double lynch. TSP died with Rej. He was a civ.
Day 1 was a tie between Dragomir and Dom. The former got lynched. He was a civ.
N1 Dom and Mac were killed. Both civs. Most people think the Dom death was by a vig and I think that's probably the case.
I won't tell what most people think of the living ones. Let's see what conclusions you make while playing.

Someone tell me why we should humor this dude any longer. He's barely doing anything. And Jack who can read his meta says he's suspicious.

Was Day 2 a tie, like Day 1, or was it a double lynch? And did we know 2 people would be lynched? Seems a good place to start for sure. Is dunya playing?

Yes, we knew there would be two lynches. People were allowed to vote two people each. Re: The Wire Mafia
Yeah, Creature's scum. He hasn't posted since Thursday and the posts he made on Thursday were damn near contentless except a vote on Sloonei because he "failed to townread him." Town Creature isn't crazy active or crazy analytical but this is worse than I'd expect. 42 posts over 2 weeks. Didn't even vote two players. Inquiries into Rej's alignment but no reaction to the answers he got. Just votes Sloonei.

Re: The Wire Mafia
No way, I am exceptionally easy to lynch. Mostly when I'm not around to defend myself.

Re: The Wire Mafia
I'd reckon Boo is thinking about the olden days LC, who was super evil and nasty and always lynched poor little Sig.

I'm not against a Creature lynch, but at the same time I'm not really for it. Can anyone recall if he's usually more active as a mafia member or less?
Speed is a player I think would be worth a look. I keep forgetting he's in the game which isn't a good sign given his normal active/aggressive civ meta.

I ISO’d him yesterday and thought his Day 1 looked very good, but his Day 2 left a lot to be desired. That was before he posted a Big Ass case against me, which I didn’t love but I have a slight bias in that area.Turnip Head wrote: ↑Sun Dec 15, 2019 10:01 pmPun notwithstanding... I've seen him scooch past suspicion as a baddie before. Very unassuming baddie game. I'd be remiss if I didn't point some attention at him.
He’s kind of a back burner suspect for me at the moment, but i’ll have a clearer idea of things if/when I find the motivation to do some interactive isos.

Re: The Wire Mafia
So competing viable wagons were Sloonei and Colin. No common voters between the two, which is just fantastic. People on Rej and Tony--DDL, Speedchuck, dunya. Not interested in any of those players any time soon. People on Rej and a competing wagon--Jack, Sig. Not super interested there either, as they could've swapped off rej and saved him.
Players on Colin/Sloonei/Tony (including myself, full disclosure)--Sloonei (self prez but not onto rej, which is notable), and Boo.
It's also notable that rej didn't vote on either of sloonei or Colin, which would've given him a chance to survive.
All told I think this points towards sloonei being scum--maybe Colin with his meaningless speedchuck vote, but I tend to think sloonei's votes look worse, coupled with rej not voting there.

Re: The Wire Mafia
For what it’s worth I was going to vote for Rej until boo threatened to flip to me if I did that. Would have put me in a tie for the lead (or second place), if memory serves correctly. So a Rej vote would have been suicide or close to it.

Re: The Wire Mafia
From what I understand, Boo made a "deal" with Sloonei. He offer to take his vote off him if Sloonei voted for the other person Boo wanted to lynch (Colin). So this wasn't much specific to Rej. It was about Colin. If Sloonei had said he'd vote for Nova, Boo might have made the same threat.
And it would be consistent with what I've seen of Boo in the previous game I played with him, and this one. He is not a team player. At all.
Now, we could discuss whether this kind of behavior is even pro-civilian. The above sounds like what a real life mafioso would say. That said, the fact Boo has been acting against town's interests doesn't mean he is necessarily mafia, it could also mean he believes so much in his reads he thinks forcing other people to follow them is fair game.boo wrote: ↑Fri Dec 13, 2019 8:12 pmYou're in a position to be voting to keep yourself alive. Outside of you, everyone else who spoke on it agreed he came across as nonsensically pingy last night. What he's contributed today has just made him look worse.

Re: The Wire Mafia
Actually correction: Boo wanted to lynch TSP, and he accepted to vote for Sloonei's target (Colin) in exchange of that. It's a deal, but also made in a forceful way.

Re: The Wire Mafia
Road map:
Sloonei really wanted to lynch Colin. He also had a few other people he was okay with lynching, such as Rej, TSP and LC.
Boo really wanted to lynch TSP. He also wanted to lynch Sloonei. He was not interested on lynching LC or Rej. He was okay with lynching Colin.
Boo realized he has less votes on him than Sloonei, so he made "an offer you can't refuse" to Sloonei. Vote for TSP with him, and Boo would change his second vote from Sloonei to Colin. Sloonei accepted. By this point, Sloonei had already voted for Rej, but changed off it on the grounds of "there are enough people on him".
Towards the EoD, Sloonei voiced interest in switching to a Rej lynch again. Boo then reminded Sloonei he still had a gun pointed to his head, and threatened to change his vote back to him if he backed down on the "deal". Sloonei accepted it.
This is what happened. Interpret the alignments how want.

Re: The Wire Mafia
Based on this, I do not feel like voting Sloonei. He spontaneously expressed interest in voting Rej towards the end, and I would not expect even a veteran player to predict Boo acting like a thug the way he did. Granted, Sloonei could have been more decisive and just voted instead of saying he wanted to vote, but this is classic on-the-fence behavior that is common of civilians, including myself, so it's not a big deal.
I could vote for Boo, but still don't want to that much. Voting for him at this point would be close to a policy lynch. Boo is someone who would use force to make civilians vote for each other torwards the end of the game. But he could still be a civilian, independently of that. And he did protect Rej, but the deal with Sloonei existed independently from the Rej thing, and you could say Boo was being consistent with the deal (albeit in a way very harmful to the civilian faction).

Re: The Wire Mafia
Okay but now I suspect DDL for having such an in-depth take on it. I still don't like that boo's "deal" looks so much like trying to get Rej out of a tight spot in a double lynch. The double lynch aspect of it contributes to what irks me. Why would a townie boo be so invested in who someone else voted for when two people are going to be lynched? Boo already had his man with TSP, but he got greedy and wanted to keep rej safe too.
