Just spotted this post while doing some very light ISOs.

I go back and forth between invested and uninvested. I don't have the time I used to to pour into this game, and posting in nothing but quotes but from another game is time consuming.

Why do you call it atypical?
I'm suggesting that you were trying harder than usual. A striking portion of your posts displayed investment and not silliness. I expect more silliness. What gives?

What's your point?

I prefer being unpredictable to being silly. I'm glad it's working. ;)

This is meta-gaming. It's happened in every Mafia thread to ever exist except the very first Mafia thread. If you're different than what I perceive to be your civilian norm, I'll talk about that.

You commented on your own playstyle first. I just followed up on it.

I still don't understand what you're getting it, and that bothers me. I find your point ambiguous. And also this meta-discussion is hurting my head.

Now it's an accusation.

Until you bring alignment into the equation, it looks like an observation. When you say "If you're different than what I perceive to be your civilian norm, I'll talk about it", that doesn't tell me that you think that, just that you'll respond that way if you encounter it. That's what I find ambiguous, that you didn't state as such before.

The accusation is still vague. I don't think I've posted as much "silly" things as I usually do. I don't have a problem with it. I like to be more light-hearted when I'm getting too serious or involved. When I'm posting less overall, I don't feel as involved, so I'm probably less inclined to flood the thread with fluff.

I didn't read that as an accusation, but as a qualifier. That didn't tell me what you were thinking in that moment, but what you would do if you thought that.

FYI

when I voted sig, there were 3 votes on birdwithteeth and 3 votes on Tony.

Wilgy was not a leading contender, so I don't know why both JoH and speedchuck are trying to encourage a dunya/wilgy w/w.

Wilgy had 3 votes on him for most of yesterday but a few moved within 6 hours of EOD after your case.

That said, I think you're probably town.

I am NOT accustomed to lynching 0 posters on Day 2 with so much content in the thread. indeed, I hate it. so birdwithteeth11 was out.

I did NOT see any convincing case on TSP presented. so TSP was out. I still don't see it?

I do NOT feel Wilgy is bad at this point in time.

I DID see a case for sig, nutella and Dave. I started with sig, sig came online when I was starting to push on him and ignored me. He came online again and also ignored the thread (he was at 3 votes when I saw him online). I was not convinced to take my vote off sig. I felt he was intentionally avoiding being caught up in the heated discussion.

Can you restate the Nutella case and the Dave case now that you can talk more better?

I followed the Sig one but the others not so much.

Why do you think WIlgy is not bad?

Do you think TSP is good or just not have a convincing reason to think he's bad? Why?

You and speedchuck are implying Wilgy was in danger and I moved the votes off him. This is inaccurate. The leaders of the lynch poll when Epignosis subbed me into this game were birdswithteeth (3 votes) and TSP (3 votes). I then voted for sig, and only much later in the day did I present my case (although I had a number of posts scattered throughout but building a case in rap lyrics isn't easy).

Wilgy was never 3 at that point. At some point after sig acquired 6 votes, Jay removed himself and joined the Wilgy bandwagon iirc and then Wilgy had 3 votes. He moved back to sig before end of day though.

I don't like words being put into my mouth, or events being said differently than they were. Let's be honest.

Jay was on Wilgy for most of yesterday before you replaced in.

One more reason to have votes logged in the thread. (Wasn't sure if doing so yesterday would break my post restriction.)

Wilgy was absolutely at 3 votes while Tony was at 2-4 for a long period of time. It's an understandable mistake to make (assuming it was a mistake) given basically no called votes or anyone stating intention to vote for anyone.

I had my vote on sig from the moment I was subbed in almost. nutella and Long Con were the first 2 to vote with me, respectively, much later in the day after speedchuck asked me to explain my sig vote (no one had cared up until that point). They did so very quickly, followed by you, JoH.

Dunya earned an early town read from me because of her actions yesterday. She put in the effort to make probably the most legible case of the entire phase, even when it wasn't really expected of her since she replaced into a garbage fire. The possibility of a mafia dunya brazenly swooping in like superman to rescue a teammate on jeopardy still exists but it seems less likely.

Because IDK, the Sig lynch seems like something I'd do as scum. No one would blame me for anything because of the chaos realm, and I'd be praised for my boldness. But then, I am practically the bartender as mafia, placing Wine In Front Of Everyone.

Sig was hardly posting without the chaosrealm around, which is normal. Sig was waffley, which was normal. Sig was 'buddying' LC (I have yet to figure out what the heck buddying has to do with being mafia, or when it applies.)

Yeah I thought this was weird also, Tony was supposidly maybe lynched that time, but then more votes piled onto innocent sig .. I hate how Simon came at the very last to vote for sig & so did kyle ... ~_~
To take away the outnumbered votes off Tony.. that's what I've noticed so far. Nutella has been toyed around to vote according to a players curse choice so that's understandable. But the other nah. Not really a defenetive reason to vote for him imo.

Wait what? I totally had a different theory for this. I know she had been receiving gifts but when there was more numbers on tonys poll she decided to Join the lynch. . Back to sig's poll there was more votes then & she then decided to place vote on sig's lynch,I assumed she was forced to vote for the outnumbered polls by receiving some kind of voodoo gift.

her curse was to thank players for their "gifts", nothing about forced voting. Please explain what you mean.
This is inaccurate. She wasn't forced to vote for anyone.
Did she explain after everything went back to normal?
Indeed she did.

My curse was to "act like I had received a gift" (a reference to the Holiday Goodie Exchange which I ran this year).
