currently thinking that Ash's level of extreme preflipping is more likely to come from town given his experience level, I think it points to him genuinely believing his read on TSP as opposed to being scum pushing a miselim on them

(technically this doesn't rule out W/W distancing but I think that's really unlikely to be what's going on)
