i’d say it ~never comes from a villa in the other thread
could come from a wolf role in either thread
or a villa from ours
likelihood from least likely to most likely
in what world does a town in our thread put secret invisible votes on those three people in the middle of the day and not claim it...
ok just in case though, to be absolutely clear
that's a bad guy thing to do
messing with vcs invisibly is very very antitown
causing confusion about who is going to be voted out is very very antitown, even if you are town doing it on confident scumreads
if someone did do this as town - don't
if someone has the ability to do this to the presumable other thread - don't
I did have a weird thought that one of the people who claimed the extra vote might have been lying. Not sure how probable that is. But I mean if it's a wolf mechanic and a wolf claims it, it might falsely assure people that plurality would be on the wrong target if there are tied wagons in the votecount. And also throw people off of thinking it comes from wolves. Of course, since we can't see the extra votes, we can't know for sure if they're really there, but there's always a chance that someone who knows where they came from claimed to have one on them.
this is one amoing many reasons why i say this

I literally gave my explanation
But no, I didn't mean I think it's from a wolf role. I just think that IF it is from a wolf role, it doesn't mean that all people claiming secret votes are town.

we have no guarantees of anything except it not being an intentional town play. as previously discussed wolves can easily lie and say they got one of the invis votes on them whether or not they actually did.

i haven’t said that, i’ve just said i found they are incredibly easy to vote when they’re villager and didn’t understand where the votes were coming from
don’t really have a read other than that, but i liked what ran had to say about them. it made sense and experienced that firsthand when i wolfed with them in the mash

This is home.
Unbeknownst to us there is work.
Now, we ask the question:
If we die at work, do we die here?
Ofc. ~ signed, Bereft
Apparently not right away.
(dug up this post just to check the wording)
Back to the Porscha situation. She died at work but received a limited number of posts to make here before she dies here, too. So I'm assuming we might have other people trickling through our thread as deaths happen at work. People who die in this thread probably just die, though.
Makes me wonder a bit whether the other thread is getting flip information or not, or if we'll get flip info on Porscha (I'm basically considering her an NPC regardless of whether she claims town or not, so it doesnt matter much but if we see a bunch of wolf flips from the work thread, it might alter our assumed numbers of scum here)

don’t you see the irony that a wolf role would be designed to place votes on people, but by telling the people that were targeted with a secret vote, they are village read for it?

Well, I view it as a near-guarantee, at least in this thread. If it comes from the other thread then who the heck knows.

robyn abi rondo is a pretty random selection of people too. i don't believe anyone talked about a poe similar that at any point in time (until ted just now) and it doesnt seem like a very "wolf targeted" group either. i think it is wise to not read anything into it.

I got that it was sarcasm but I didn't get why. If any wolf can just up and claim they've been secretly voted with no way to prove it since there's no hammer, it doesn't make anyone village read, it's just NAI for the vote targets since they could either be telling the truth or faking it.

Idk maybe they would expect it to accomplish something
Like if they placed the votes on people they hadn't read yet, as a test to see whether they claimed the extra votes or not, if they assumed wolves wouldn't claim it because they wouldn't want to get hammered... ie if they weren't aware there's no hammer (like how I momentarily forgot, cause I saw someone else mention it in the context of worrying that Abbi would hammer Robyn, forgot who it was)

that's.. one of the most ill thought out mafia tactics i have heard in a while (affectionate)
however
its also a pretty well knotted town perspective to come up with that

Mac will always say I could be wolf because I have snowed him hard like.. 2? 3? times. I also enjoy looking scummy and getting into shit fights because it feeds me. I have no clue what is going on between Robyn and Mac. I havent really had time to go into it which is why I asked WWA for an analysis. From what I can tell that Bereft has said is they shouldnt be fighting so I will back that since Bereft has given me a way to feel like I have a foothold in this game

Also I got the vibe I should expect them to be top poster / low impact archetype and they’re not top posting which is throwing me somewhat
Someone ought to point out the reverse applies to Abigail but I don’t think of Abigail/Neon as top poster low impact
I've mostly cut out the topposting thing since I don't play as often on FoL anymore tbh. Topposting on a forum that doesnt use discourse just ends up clogging the thread. I still post a lot, for sure, but I don't have quite as much to keep up with and respond to at all times in this format, so i don't have to post every single thought that pops into my head (except when I want to generate discussion on it).

I assume Porscha was in the other thread but upon realising I wasn't there simply switched here cuz they have spooky powers or something.
They claim to be "dead", whatever that means. Some sort of variant on the Tree Stump role? Also, Porscha, how did you "die"?
I wonder if they get severed in the other thread when they die, and then they end up in this thread with limited posts for one phase
Then what the hell are you? And are other people gonna show up?

nicely, second to last post now, I already said I missed most of day, no clue of anything
