I voted for Rapunzel as my favorite. Have y'all seen Tangled? Very cute!
For a lynch, I would have to say I am suspicious of Miyaki as well. He has been pretty pingy to me throughout the game. I believe he jumps to conclusions about people too easily (like me for example). Maybe he's just been trying to keep us from keeping an eye on *him*.

Since laine was a rumple role I would bet that rumple can't die until his teammates are dead. I think the best thing to do is have a silent day and lynch Carmen. Does anyone else have other thoughts?

We could try again, and I would go along with that, but it makes me nervous since we have tried so many times and failed. I hate to waste another lynch.

I believe Carmen is a killer, one that kills on odd nights. It sounds like a good possibility that she can only die if she is the last on her team, or last of the pair, maybe. Being that this is an odd night, I hope precautions can be taken.

I did think Laine was suspect, but I would have called him for the other team, not this one. Perhaps my thought that Dallon was bad is wrong, or perhaps HE was on the Wicked team.
I feel Shand is being blendier than he needs to be. Euro as well; I had her pegged as a potential last teammate of Carmen if there was one, but numerically that is not possble, so perhaps she is on the Wicked team or an SK? There are very limited civs left, so after Carmen is gone we have some hard calls to make.

You are rotten to the core and I know it. I know why you shattered the silence. You stole Rumplestiltskin's power for one Night, didn't you? Cool secret power, I must say.

My power has worked well for me thus far (and it has nothing to do with being a wordsmith). But I'm laughing at you because I know there was no word, so you could not have known what it was.
I may not be a good Mafia player (I'm not), but I like games.

And the reason I know YOU are Rumple is this:
The Nixie - Watch out for this one! *secrets* As a Nixie you can assume a variety of physical forms. If you are checked in anyway you will appear innocent or a random civ role if lynched. ( I fucked up here- poor Laine! ) Each night you will protect Rumple with your life. If he is targeted for Lynch or NK you will die instead. You also have the ability to end the Day early once in the game.
Not becasue I stole your power, but because Laines role is revealed on the first page. We tried to lynch you; he died. YOU ARE RUMPLE

An excellent result, to be sure! I am on board 100% with a Carmen lynch tomorrow - this time she won't have anyone protecting her, so hopefully all will go well. I am not shocked Laine was baddie. I don't think many of us are.
I am kinda surprised NONE of the teams have been eliminated yet, but I'm also hopeful that will soon change. Now that we've figured out how to beat Rumpy's power we are moving in a good direction.

Hopefully we get rid of Rumpy tomorrow, and then we can talk as much as we want.
I will not shatter the day silence tomorrow either, but I feel better knowing what was going on yesterday - with all the talking and stuff.
Ok, will look at the night poll and make a decision.

I know since I'm not playing my vote doesn't count, but I agree with this!
That being said, perhaps a game this epic would only truly be best concluded by a battle to the death.
But maybe that's because I always think that.

Pretty much this. I am having fun and would be happy to continue, but if you feel for whatever reason that the game needs to end, I am fine with that.

Game on!
A peasant begged some land from the king. When he and his daughter dug the field, they found a mortar made of gold. The daughter warned that if they gave it to the king for his kindness, he would ask for the pestle as well; the father gave it nonetheless, and the king asked for the pestle and put him in prison until he got it. The peasant lamented his folly in not listening to his daughter. The king had him brought before him again, and asked what he meant. The peasant explained.
The king summoned the daughter and set her riddle: to come to him neither naked nor clothed, neither walking nor riding, neither on the road nor off it. If she guessed it, she had proved her cleverness and would marry him. She wrapped herself in a fish net, and tied it to a donkey's tail so that it had to drag her along, and she kept only one toe touching the ground. The king agreed that she had guessed the riddle; he freed her father and married her.
Some years later, a mare gave birth to a foal that ran off and lay down under an ox. Both the peasant who owned the mare and the one who owned the ox claimed it; the king said it belonged where it was found. The peasant who owned the mare went to the queen for help. She told him to take a fishing net and pretend to fish on dry land where the king would see; when the king said it was impossible, he was to say it was no more impossible than oxen giving birth to foals. The peasant did so, and the king gave him the foal but got from him that the queen had given him the advice. He sent the queen back to her father, saying she could take only one thing, what she valued most, from the castle. The queen gave him a sleeping draught and took him back to her father's house. When he woke, she told him that he was what she valued most in the castle; he took her back with him to the castle and once again recognized her as his wife.
No one has died!
It is now Day 10.
You have 24 hours to Lynch someone.
