I re-read speed and I can see where he started defending Luna early on (Day 1) but I also see he engaged DH with some back and forth early on, too early for bussing I think. His discussion with me last night seemed like he had info about Luna because he was telling me what she "probably" had been thinking, things she had not said in the thread, but that made it seem like they both were bad as opposed to TMI. I can't find other instances in his posts where TMI seems to apply but someone else should look too, I could easily have missed something.

[mention]Lunalee[/mention] were the reasons speed gave about what you were thinking when you compelled him to vote TH true? He seemed to think there was something you were not voicing in the thread about your thinking during that time. Is that true? Any reason you can think of why speed would think this?

Luna thinking I’m town is rankling me, I’ll admit. I don’t know if that’s ever happened before and it smells like TMI.

I've wondered this also. I need to give him a reread and see if he could fit as scum. Same for Colin.

OK just looked through speed's iso and I think he is most likely town based on all of his quinteractions/posts about quin, the nk analysis debate, and his posts since the DH lynch; the one thing that gives me pause is his actual d3 behavior -- he tried to push an LC lynch and largely ignored the DH train. But still that may be more of a town indicator because if he was dh's teammate he'd probably jump on once it was clear the LC counterwagon wasn't gonna happen. And since everything else in his iso screams town I think he was just voting for what he believed in and simply didn't catch on to DH being bad.

Pushing an LC lynch when the baddies had put two extra votes on me, and forced someone to vote for me. That' relevant.

In a game I played with him last year, Chuck strongly defended a very very obvious baddie LC (your teammate, iirc? what game was it?) becasue he really believed him to be civ. I can see civ Chuck strongly defending someone on gut. I find bad Chuck doing the same less likely. So Chuck defending Luna makes him look better to me than he might otherwise have done based on the push on LC.

All the reasons I initially voted for Luna still exist, the vote forcing wand angle still exists, and I am not sure how much I trust Sprits intuition over my own.

I did find it intriguing that after spending the better part of a day building and bolstering the wand case on Luna, Juliets abandoned it after one lukewarm reaction from Nutella.

At this point, I find myself tunnelling, so I am going to follow the vote of the person I most trust while I reread some things.

Yeah I don't have a very high opinion of my own reads so nutella's luke warmness (and I think there were others) and then later sprit's vouch convinced me to stay off of her. Oh and speed's reaction was pretty bad though I wasn't sure if that was because he was bad too or he really thought I was pushing it too hard and my reasons were dumb. I'm no longer sure about sprit's vouch though, I've asked him about it but he hasn't answered. I started out the day so certain but all those things gave me doubt. I'm going to feel like an idiot if she and speed are both bad.

Today it looks like sprit was not vouching but maybe just giving an opinion - I'm not sure, I asked him but he hasn't answered -

my instincts tell me that luna is the right way to go, i think if it weren't for the fact that there are like 3 different people who i think seem trustworthy saying that she's not the way to go, and also the fact that i don't have faith in my own instincts, i'd be voting there easily and without concern.

what's are the main bullet points on elohcin?

i guess my main question is, if Eloh were mafia would she really quote a teammate DH's posts and be like "hey this is a really good point someone please explain the reasons why etc etc"

it wouldn't have made a difference in DH's lynch and mostly just linked the two together right?

I'm not sure, but I think questioning the existence of valid reasons for voting someone is a popular scum defense tactic, both of one's own self and of a teammate, and so a current theory re: eloh is that the scum collectively decided to ignore the reasons I repeatedly pointed to for voting DH.

I didn't vote for DH. I had a crazy busy day, came into the thread (still working at the time) and said I would not have time to catch up. I kindly asked if those voting for DH (he had the most votes at this time) would tell me why they were voting for him. I had not seen any suspicious activity from him prior so I didn't know what had happened in the past 20 hours or so that I had been sleeping/working. N one would even acknowledge me!!! They acted like I wasn't even in the room. I asked several times over the course of the evening (while I still worked and had no time to pay attention to the thread) and still was ignored. Luna had the second most votes and I really didn't think she was bad at the time, so I picked someone else knowing it wouldn't determine their fate. I could lie instead and say....I was forced to vote so--and-so and that is why I didn't vote DH. But I rarely lie in mafia and even more rarely as a civ in mafia. I don't know what else to say to cover my ass, but it is what it is. I have 5 orders this week, a cake tasting, school, and running our co-op on top of that (then of course normal keeping up the household stuff). I will not be devastated if you all vote me out, but it will be a waste of a vote.

When I came into the thread for the first time that day, I think DH had a few more votes than Luna. I remember because I was surprised he had so many votes when he was not even really talked about much before then.

Okay, now I read like seven pages. I've gleaned mostly people moving over to Eloh because of sprit's vouch for Luna, as well as not liking Eloh's vote and agreeing with DH? It was a lot less strong posting than I expected for 7 votes on one person.

However, two things: one, I know sprit's info on me is right (or rather, his vouching), so I'm inclined to believe his vouch for Luna. (Even as I type that, I feel myself forming a hat out of a certain thin metal...Hmmm.) Secondly, looking at Colin's recap of the DH lynch, it stated that Eloh "says Luna is probably civ, voices suspicion of TH and Nijuu." It made me remember I got some weird vibes from her jumping on my then-bandwagon for what was not a good reason (vote record and lack of posts, which I countered), as well as instances of throwing suspicion on people now who are confirmed not-mafia (e.g., TH). It looks like floundering at this point, so I think I'll jump on the Eloh bandwagon.

God knows if any of that makes sense - I keep getting interrupted for one reason or another in my posting and catch-up, and I really just wanna post. I also just want to drink a glass of wine with Eloh, because girl, you need it. Hang in there!!
