For Jack to be sincere, the following must be true:

Mafia (or town for some reason) decided to busdrive Jack with one of their members, thus diverting any ill attacks on them at Jack.
This sent Long Con's role check at the mafia member, when he had aimed it at Jack.
When Jack is confronted with this, he says he targeted speedchuck, which was false, then corrected to nutella.
Mafia strongmanned nutella.

Fun idea:

If Jack is mafia, he can get someone else on his team to target me with an offer even if LC says he's the dayskipper. He also easily knows that Elohcin has a mafia-or-town role, because he knows that everyone does, because he's the day/nightskipper.

It can be. But it's not proof, like the role I had in mind (I think I was thinking of a mega man role that was conditional on who recruited it?).

I have lynched a mafioso on Day 1 and/or 2 in my last four straight civilian games including this one, and I didn't win in any of the prior three because I was killed early.

So that's why the mafia should kill me instead of dunya.
