In the search box, put in the username under "Posted by member" and check "search this thread only"

For catan, I manually ctrl+f'd the first few pages because marcher had too many posts for the search function apparently.
dude the site has iso buttons on desktop, and if you're on mobile and they dont show up the host provided the links in the OP for convenience
Lissa was asking about the games on CFC that I linked.

still think it's more likely TMIing/whiteknighting a townie but I also suspect carotte independently and maybe they just would hard defend a teammate idfk
how is it TMIing a villager when you suspect carot and are hesitant on suspecting marcher

that sentence is breaking my brain
I just don't see it as w/w, I think it is w/v or v/w (or v/v I guess but meh)
I'm open to your view of it though, maybe they are just teammates but I really don't feel it and I don't have the energy to dig into marcher's meta
idgi, why can't it be w/w?
I feel like we're going in circles here
I'm gonna say "because I don't think a wolf would openly hard townread a teammate who is facing a lot of pressure without having much of any reasoning to back it up"
And you're gonna say "But saying 'i dont think a wolf would do x' is meaningless and wifom and unreliable weh"

k cool

so yeah it's possible then but I still feel like in this specific scenario (carotte being a top suspect/elim candidate, marcher not really backing up the read, the incredulous posts after eod) I'd be surprised

I already was getting suspicious of Marcher and regretting my earlier read there

combined with MR's read, my read of carot and their interactions with marcher / how they treated each other, and the meta I looked at

had been feeling pretty meh/waffly about wolfreads leading up to EOD (though my carot sus started ramping up a lot during EOD) but marcher/carot feels like a slam dunk fmpov. still unsure about nutella tho

Ok peeps

Let’s go back to basics

When have you ever, as a villager, placed a confident town lean on something that’s not inherent in game solving, but rather a “spec chat read”

Why does a villager ignore a slot for their entire body of work and shotguns a wolf chat read

Why is it townie to do it?

Wouldn’t scum make exactly these types of reads in order to brush an active poster aside?

He literally ignored all of moth’s solving posts (hitting the scum checkbox that’s in the “How do we get out of an active’s way the easiest way”)

He hits the checkbox of giving a town read on an active based on some sort of OOG reasoning that’s flimsy as hell rather than actual content that moth has provided

It’s a lazy read

Moth was bound to get town cleared at some point, that read is the read that wolves make in order to hop on the “this is when we declare moth town and never have to deal with him for the rest of the game”

It’s not founded on moth’s actual content

Even ignoring my slip case (which still baffles me that we are) arguing that someone is town because, as a wolf, they’d have the capability to control how they appear (especially when they don’t appear that way at all) is like a gold mine of TMI

>moth is being nervous
>if he were a wolf he would be nervous, but in wolf chat
>moth is town

How does anyone think that this is remotely a villager’s thought process?
