I did think your claim that Alison's "aggressive" attitude toward tutuu while shading her was somewhat suspicious.

Yeah TTC started in Alison's bottom of PoE and slowly climbed up to "who is this" for... no reason? On day 3 #1567 she clearly didn't want TTC to go first even if she had every reasons to.

I liked his push on Nanook day 2, I agree that his initial tone felt off. However, he was confident in the team being TSP/Nanook and even after TSP flipped town, he stayed confident about w!Nanook. It's really stubborn, there was no like "oh I was wrong, maybe I should reevaluate my worldview" that show lack of TMI.

I don't think he's teamed with Alison due to Alison-Turnip intereactions. At the moment I'd vote Alison over DrWilgy.

I like his D1-D2 tone and that he was insistent with nutella instead of just accepting the town read she gave him. The work he put in on D2 was also pretty good from a gamestate perspective, a wolf could have just gone with consensus/slanked since the spotlight was on town players. He disappeared on D3 and D4 stuff has been meh, I dislike that he's not considering w!Alison world. I can see them being partner.

Mac was a wolf in my first two syndicate games and I got completely fooled (but to be fair they kinda happened at the same time). While I don't expect him to play exactly the same if he's a wolf again, he's really just night and day different from what I've seen before. He is more building/making stuff rather than discrediting/bouncing on stuff other people did. His 112 meta post really felt like it came from a place of sincere appreciation and I imagine it's mutual. I think that if the team was 112/Mac/X they would have been much more hyped and it wouldn't have resulted in such a bland day 1 for 112.

I have a bit more doubts on Nanook because his tone seemed really off at first, but I've seen town Nanook have notable impact in game he was slaking so I know he can easily influence things if he wanted to. I guess it's a bit contradictory but like, I really don't think scum Nanook decide that his best shot at winning is hoping that Mac is wrong.

Alison day 1 was scummy. She was pushing easy targets like TH, got in a fight with tutuu and shaded everyone that was scum meta reading her. She still does. She did end up on 112 wagon but she kinda avoided the topic the whole day and by the time it happened, it was self-pres. She pushed for Urist and then she had a big drop-off. She was like, ~okay with a TSP vote, as she fell into complacency. There's also her TTC progression that is not a good look. All her pushes have been really opportunistic.

Ted he just... Exists. Maybe he's scum who slipped through our attention, maybe he's our next mischop. I do think his earlier stuff was good and it doesn't really feel like he's pushing an agenda. Overall he's just more townie and less agenda-y and opportunistic than Alison.

What if Alison/112 was w/w and Alison has been trying to pocket and buddy me the whole game

Your agressivity level in your handling of tutuu seems disproportionate to how you're actually reading her. It seemed like you were still hesitating a lot/trying to convince her you're town while simultaneously trying to shade her.

TH seemed extremely town to me. I have never seen Wilgy play like this that I can recall but he hasn’t alarmed me at all.

To be fair I don't really put much stock on D1 reads unless I have very strong reason to do so, mostly revolving around EoD play. Being townie on D1 as a scum is easy.

I don’t know why it needs exploring further? Like...he’s in the POE for me, his push is pretty meh but I think I’ve seen him make that push as both alignments, so it’s whatever on its own.

AH, the 'their reads are bullshit' without explaining why then dipping. Care to actually argue my progression towards you? Or how about how I'm interacting with people? 'His reads are bullshit.' is dumb and fake. Small effort argument.

Now, I will say, in spite of your blurb here rubbing me the wrong way. There is merit in the fact that it could come from a frustrated civilian. FOR some reason, I don't see this as the same frustrated civ that I've seen before in you, could be a mood thing or could be the fact that I was scum in pyre, BUT I don't.

I think a lot of the issue today is characterised by what I just spelled out. Nobody is really that scummy, or if they are they have someone else hard townreading them and shielding them. This is leading to a really disjointed and fractured town. Everyone looks town ergo everyone is a suspect and tinfoil is rife.

The objectively correct thing to do would be to start by looking at the flip. We have four players alive who voted for 112, Alison, Proto, Colin and myself. Three have flipped from that, two via NK and one via TK. All were town so far. The chance of someone bussing is there but as I have stated I feel it more likely that nobody bussed. I don't think that 112 expected to die. That remains my thoughts.

Living players offwagon are -

Nook and Carot on the counterwagon (Alison).
TH (Wilgy) and tedxtr off wagon.
TTC did not vote.

The pattern mafia take is almost always to not vote together in that scenario. You are unlikely to see both mafia on the counterwagon, or both mafia on the bus. It's very likely that one of the mafia (or even both) are actually completely off wagon. It actually is interesting that TH was voting for Amy, and Ted was voting for me because to my eye both Amy and I were zero chance of being yeeted and also really fucking towny.

The counterwagon also has flips, outside of 112 herself we have Urist (TK) and Tutuu (NK) and both were town. I am also townreading Nook and Carot higher than some other players. So that would mean that Alison's wagon was pure outside of the 112 self preservation vote. Now, it wouldn't shock me to find that Alison is town and the wagon was largely town (and 112's wagon was town) because Alison actually was a terribad day 1 wagon that no self respecting mafia would want to be on.

I think that we should be yeeting between LC/Wilgy/Tedxtr. Wilgy/Ted are already cross voting. That makes me think that there is only one between them. This makes me think we should solve LC first.

This is a day 1 retelling. Tell me if you think this stacks up.

112 and TH are busy and disengaged in scum chat. TTC slanks nearly entirely.

112 wagon gains momentum. TH and TTC aren't catching flak so given they are in slank mode just keep a low profile.

Town made Alison wagon gains momentum. 112 doesn't want to push it hard really because it's a suckwagon and 112 has no good reason to. Teammates are no help because they are in low profile or not even be here mode.

112 makes at least some effort to look town right at the end. EOD is a non event because the mafia didn't show up. I show up and ruin 112's day.

TH's ISO is an easy read and very interesting. I suggest you take a look. To my eye TH tried to pocket Alison and Alison was having zero of it. Alison hated TH's Amy vote. It's interesting stuff.

Despite the fact that Wilgy is defending me and voting alongside of me right now I feel like he is more likely to be mafia between he and Tedxtr right now. I feel like the way that he's treated the game since entering has looked agenda driven. He's pushed against pushable people primarily hiding behind a suspicion of Nanook which is easy to justify because of Nook's play and Nook's day 1 vote.

If so I sort of agree that trying to create chaos during EOD to save a teammate is up Mac's alley based on what I've seen of his scum play. I don't think he's compelled to do it to such an extent that we should be townclearing him off it not happening though.

My "early game talk" was my snap first post reads, which is a hallmark of my play. I scumread several people then moved on. I ended the day on 112. This is dumb as hell. Me of all people at that EOD was perfectly positioned to save 112. I showed up at the perfect time, TSP was shouting "DADV DAVVDVD" and 112 trying to look like a sad townie. It's 6-5. If I recall I might have even been tinfoiling Alison by that point at least to a degree. Anyone who has played with mafia me knows that I just yolo vote Alison there to try to save my teammate. Hell TSP probably takes the bait and jumps off there to boot given how he was feeling. I could have easily saved 112 there.

All I'd need to do is be like "omg 112 is town, vote Alison". Seriously it's preposterous for someone whose played as many games with me as LC has to read my day 1 the way he is.
