That is a powerful role. What makes you think he can't be blocked?
Hawkeye..bro..you are bending logic to support your ideas. You aren't taking evidence as it actually exists. You are coming up with what if scenarios and presenting them as if they are truth. First it was Sunfire being Rogue equals you are a civvie. I still don't understand the logic behind that one. And now it's Rasputin equals civvie because he seemingly survived a night kill when there are other scenarios at play.....blocks, protections, night polls, etc. You don't acknowledge them and then you cover it by saying, "Oh, I don't think Apocalypse can be blocked." What the hell?

Hawkeye wrote:Sorry to rain on your parade Apocalypse and Friends, but there was not a single Brotherhood member at work here (or if there actually was, that's purely coincidental), it was all me. I've been suspecting WQ as scum for quite some time, and by the looks of it, I wasn't that far from being wrong, but I had no evidence to support that. The other day she made those statements regarding her survival, so I thought that's as good as it gets. I was going to vote for Havok and I did, but after that I realized with all the redirected powers, that if Magneto was still alive, his could have been as well, so I took a risk. Yes, Spiral and Polaris, unknowingly happened to help with the numbers, so if one of them is a member of the Brotherhood, I suppose you can say there were baddies involved, but they basically had no idea.
I see WQ and Havok keep bringing up Rasputin = baddie leader of some sort, when there is clear evidence IN the thread, not info dumping or anything else, that
he survived a night kill in a game where baddies don't have that ability. Looking back at it all, it makes sense. WQ targeted Rasputin on Night 4, and something tells me Rasputin returned the favor on Night 5.

People keep saying this about the baddies, yet they continuously explain anything ELSE unusual by saying, "Oh prizes".
No baddies can survive? Oh, prizes.
I think he is as bad as it comes. And I think you are, and I think Polaris is. Spiral, not so sure.
So for now I am going to vote Hawkeye & Polaris to target each other. Lets discuss who we should vote for today and why.

I switched from Hawkeye to Mikhail, that also works for me, since I think we should make people we DON'T trust target each other. This way civvies won't accidentally Ninja each other

I hate to look like a tagalong, but I was having the same idea with those two, since the lynch didn't give us any good information and I'd like to see the results. Voting that way for now (not sure when/if I'll be back today).

Just How Savage Are We Talking?
Mikhail Rasputin was attempting to study the topography of The Savage Land when a missile struck the top of a rocky formation. The resultant landslide buried him. When he dug his way out, he found a microchip. “This was a gift from a sentinel,” he said.
Hawkeye was target practicing against pterodactyls when one of them, guided by some unseen influence, returned the attack. It bit into Hawkeye’s shoulder, but Hawkeye grabbed the flying reptile by its neck and crushed it.
No one has been killed.

it can be assumed that the microchip was embedded in the missile. oftentimes when people send missiles at each other, they'll leave a message saying who it was from. or at least that's what happens on tv.
or were you talking about something else?

Yes, now we have had three people survive, and only two roles in the list that show that
Hmmm, maybe all NK survivals are not role related?? In addition to the two roles that can survive NKs, we have a baddie blocker (to of them, actually), at least one civ role with secrets, a civ who can protect, oh prizes, indys with secrets. Yeah. So lots of ways to survive an NK other than being one of to roles.
In any case, I read the night post as he potentially got a gift from the Sentinels. Becasue that is what the post said, lol.

I wrote "to" twice, I meant "two". Not enough coffee yet, lol.
linki; I just looked THAT up, and in one of the many story lines involving the Savage Land, Apocalypse was involved, the
Age of Apocalypse storyline. But pretty much every other role has been involved in a Savage Land storyline as well, based on a quick skim. I think that is reading in to it a bit. In the Earth X universe, the Savage Land is where Magneto built his sanctuary called Sentinel City. After the events of Second Coming during the Heroic Age storyline, Cyclops goes hunting in The Savage Land. Etc.
So possible, but I still think that is reading into it a bit, unless Banshee has info, maybe blocked someone he thinks is Apocalypse

and makes me want to take a harder look at Banshee.

Correction, Longshot, not Banshee. Longshot was quoting Banshee; Longshot said he thought the attempt on Hawkeye was by Apocalypse, and I am not sure how he would know that. Because the post certainly does not say that.

Well, interesting couple of days!
So, now we know White Queen is Apocalypse. And we know Magneto is still alive and isn't inactive. So I feel a little vindicated; Apocalypse isn't Brotherhood, but he doesn't exactly seem good either.
White Queen, to address your question, yes the Sentinels tried to kill me, and no I didn't get any gifts from them. Why would an indy role give gifts?

BULLSHIT. I'm sorry, but STOP FUCKING SAYING THIS. I HAD FINALS!
That is all.
Havok wrote:Yeah, I think it's quite likely that Polaris and Hawkeye are Brotherhood.
Here's how I think it went down. It was an even day following an odd night, so the Brotherhood picked two players to have their votes moved to a third party. I ended up with 5 votes as did Mikhail Rasputin. Leading up to the last 30 minutes or so of the lynch White Queen only had 1 vote. She had to be the target of Magneto to receive the votes from 2 other players. I think all of the votes that were on me went to her. I don't think they targeted Mikhail Rasputin because I don't think they thought he would be receiving votes after setting me up so nicely yesterday. I think it's likely that Vision was also targeted but he didn't receive any votes. Polaris and Hawkeye changed their votes to White Queen because if they hadn't either Rasputin or me would have been lynched, and with Cyclops still out there and the vote being a tie with their guy Rasputin they couldn't risk it. So they moved their votes and WQ ended up with 3 visible votes. Move my visible votes to White Queen and she has 8. 8-5 White Queen.
I have been leaning civvie on Hawkeye for the entire game, but now I think he's likely Brotherhood.
Nice turnaround, bro.
I have been meaning to ask Hawkeye, though: you claimed full credit for the attempted lynch of White Queen yesterday. Care to explain? I don't really see how that's possible.
