Re: [NIGHT 2] Turf Wars: Battle of the Hosts
The reasons were all made very clear in the thread. Fuzz said he wasn't going to touch the ika situation, and then without anything intervening voted ika. That is not civilian behaviour. And SVS, sloonei, myself, ika and silverwolf at minimum made it clear this was their reason for voting. To say they weren't clear just makes you look less trustworthy, in my opinion.Quin wrote:No, but it does give a reason for my actions, as opposed to the 7 other people who jumped on the fuzz lynch.Golden wrote:It might have been well justified, but that doesn't necessarily make you town-aligned.Quin wrote:My refusal to vote for Fuzz was well justified. He only did the suspicious thing in the hour before the lynch. You have never seen someone do something suspect and just known then at that second that they were bad?

So now you are gonna witch hunt everyone who didn't agree with the CFD? That's what we're doing?
Because I still think it's a sloppy idea. Would've preferred if we've had a few more hours to do it.
And for the record, I'm against reading any of the people in the Fuzz lynch as civ automatically. Because if gleam or ika is also scum, this could be a great bussing job. The guy who started this whole thing is famous for his bussing skills in this forum, don't forget about that.
I'm not reading anything today though. Night.

I'm heading out for uni in a minute. I was going to go an hour ago since I thought day ended back then.
linki: I've changed my mind, Sloondog. I may have been caught up in the fuzz wagon too much, and the results look good for you.
@golden I don't agree with the way people interpreted the vote, I said that already. Why do you think he said Ika/Silver situation? Not just Ika? You could tell what he was talking about in that.

Re: [NIGHT 2] Turf Wars: Battle of the Hosts
Yep. Thats exactly what I'm doing. The baddies handed that eod terribly, and probably felt they'd come out of it with Fuzz alive. Sometimes, the game gets blown wide open and the baddies get confronted with something they can't plan for and handle badly. I think it did right then.Dragon D. There was no good reason to oppose the Fuzz lynch. It would be dumb for any of the people who started it to be doing it to save a baddie teammate. The idea that ika came out ahead on votes because the civilians saved fuzz from his own teams bus is, in my opinion, ridiculous.
Your inability to open your eyes on both sides of the lynch (despite your vote) just makes me see you as bad.
Enrique, sig, DDL, quin, add one. I wouldn't be surprised if that is the cop team right there.

That was quite a ride. chaindeath is glad that a member of the Police is dead especially when they are of such a powerful role as Surveillance Specialist. Though thinking on this he recalls that there is also an undercover cop running around who could have been the one who was lynched and chose to be seen in that role to save his specialist some heat. He still feels that DDL is acting funky. He hasn't gone through all of the other pages he needs to read because he is tuckered out from trying to catch up on 10+ pages in two hours and not being a terribly fast reader. Sleep well other people of the town. See you all, hopefully, after night 2!
With enough bullets, you can solve anything.

Re: [NIGHT 2] Turf Wars: Battle of the Hosts
Just remember, it is very possible to be town and wrong so I'm not going to automatically assume sig and Quin are Fuzz's scum mates.
Those on the Fuzz lynch look good but bussing is a thing that happens and it doesn't necessarily mean everyone on that wagon was town.
I've seen two scum wagons pop up like that together before in a game so I'm not going to assume the counterwagon to Fuzz was on town.
Anytime I've made assumptions like this before-those voting scum are town, those opposed to a scum lynch are their partners, or a counterwagon to scum must be town-I've been wrong in all situations at times. I've also been right before in those situations but I'd rather look at behavior overall to determine alignment rather than just wagon placement or behavior around a scum lynch or counterwagons-etc.

LC's vote doesn't strike me as ingenuine. DDL's for Fuzz, does. Enrique's original vote for Fuzz, that he suddenly backed off, feels like a distance vote gone wrong. Sig's entire behaviour around the lynch feels bad in every way, sloonei pointed some of it out.
I agree with you in principle. My opinion on who is bad and who is good lies not in who ended up voting where, but how they expressed themselves in the thread.

I don't know what just happened, but I like it.
Goes to show we should always lynch Fuzz day 1 in every game.
Good job team!

I think they have a slogan at JTM about lynching Fuzz on Day One.

Maybe if you hadn't have run off mid day in a huff and played I wouldn't be so quick to have defended someone who was still playing and not having their gf us emotional blackmail to stop a lynch. Before you start trying to dictate lynches how about become more involved and play? You where barely even involved in your own lynch save and know your trying to lynch me. You decided I was mafia before he even flipped so there is no point in engaging you.ika wrote:
@Golden so your saying every mafia team member was agaisnt the Fuzz lynch? This is highly unbelievable I'd say quite a few people wagoning on Fuzz where mafia members.

You think 'quite a few' mafia members were involved in a sudden wagon to bus their own teammate unnecessarily?sig wrote:Maybe if you hadn't have run off mid day in a huff and played I wouldn't be so quick to have defended someone who was still playing and not having their gf us emotional blackmail to stop a lynch. Why would 'quite a few' mafia members do that?
You are saying its 'highly unbelievable' that in a state of confusion the mafia would be the ones most resistant to a flip of the lynch to Fuzz.
And that it is much more believable that the mafia, themselves, are the ones who tried to lynch their own teammate? Only to be foiled by a great civilian attempted save, I assume?
The ika case was crud. There was no emotional blackmail involved. Only fair points about how bad the case on ika was. It was a bad case, and I think there were a lot of baddies on that bandwagon. I think this is the much more believable scenario.

OK, First of all ika worked an overnight shift last night and was sleeping today so that's why he wasn't here. I did not emotionally blackmail anyone and I resent the implication that I would do that. I expressed my sincere frustration with some of the reasons people were scumreading ika and also to a certain extent-myself.sig wrote:Maybe if you hadn't have run off mid day in a huff and played I wouldn't be so quick to have defended someone who was still playing and not having their gf us emotional blackmail to stop a lynch. While I admit, threatening to leave was immature of me, I do think my concerns were valid. Especially since this site has a meta of lynching new players with a different style.
I knew ika voting me D1 or engaging with me the way he did was not alignment indicative and neither was my response to it.
So I was frustrated and that's all there is to it. I resent the implication you are making that says otherwise and resent your assumption that ika ran away when in fact, he had to work.
Please do not do this again. Thank You.
