Portals 1 and 2 have tied.

The first person to respond after me saying portal 1 or 2 will decide which will be taken. I don't feel like flipping a coin. :feb:

Night 6: Eden on the Air

juliets surveyed the portals using the portalscope. "Doesn't everyone else agree that 2 seems best?" she asked. Eventually growing tired of starting through the portalscope, she went back to her room and turned on the TV. She flipped through the stations. She stopped on ESPN 99 where they were showing a re-run of a Tampa Bay Buccaneers football game. She stopped and watched intently. So intently that she missed it when someone cracked open her door and rolled an eyeball-shaped bomb into her room. The bomb slowly filled the room with dangerously poisonous gas, which led to juliets's unfortunate suffocation.

Timmer was just going to sleep when he heard the rattling of a gun. He chose to investigate. What he saw shocked him: A bloodied body was on the ground while a figure stood over it. The figure turned around, revealing a green eyeball for a face. The figure sprang forward, but Timmer was able to hide.

As the players stepped into Portal 2 and it closed behind them, they were amazed by the incredibly vibrant and soothing garden that awaited them. It was truly nothing short of perfection. A voice came from above: "Greetings! Please nominate the one among you who is good at heart and you will be rewarded."

juliets has been killed by The Residents.

There were 0 missing PMs.

It is now Day 7. You have about 48 hours to nominate a player good at heart.

RIP JC, IYWG <3

Although i still would like to know why Dh left her off his list.

Not so sure how i feel about Timmer surviving, though. He inherited a lot of bad juju from CBK.

And we are voting for who we TRUST, not who to lynch?

What are people's feelings about this "pick someone you trust" vote, which is apparently not a lynch? I haven't played many MP games, and whichever I did play were awhile now. Is this likely something special that he is going to do for a player? Is it nefarious? The portal ended up seeming exactly like how the portalscope described it, so maybe this is legit too?

And DP, considering that people have reduced the total number of players who could be Herman to about 3 names, and you are on it, maybe it's not the time to be flippant

And finally, "eff you buddeh" to whichever Resident took a shot at me. :ninja:

Don't forget: I got a vote on one of the days before Herman killed, eliminating me from the running for Herman.

As for the current poll, I'm intrigued by the wording YOU will be rewarded, as in "the player base as a whole" rather than the one who gets picked. If my reading is correct, I'm tempted to vote for Droops, as we know he's civ.

As the only person on that list to receive a vote Day 6, and since Herman didn't kill Night 6, that makes you Herman.

I'm thinking whoever gets the least votes is killed. And if it's a tie, it's randomized between all the people who have the least votes. That sounds crazy enough.

This is some fantastic reasoning now, isn't it? It fails to consider role blocking or the possibility that juliets was Herman.

I dunno. I mean, I'm willing to consider the possibility that Epig could be Herman, but I'm also willing to consider possibilities such as roles being blocked. Not sure.

Like I said though, I think everyone on his list deserves to be looked at and re-read to some degree. I think that's the best way to narrow it down from people who aren't Herman.

In relation to the current poll though, who are some people you would consider to be trust-worthy at this stage of the game?

Seriously though, outside of SVS, rey, and dom I've felt a bit off about everyone in this game at some point. I would say those are the top 3 people I trust and likely one of those 3 will be getting my vote.

Also I am going with our wonderful host to a concert tonight in Columbus (thankfully only about a 2 hour drive) so I may be able to respond once or twice tonight, but if it's a lengthy response that probably won't come until tomorrow morning. Just giving you all the heads up.

Well, I am not sure. I don't think it's a lynch, though. I think, or maybe have high hopes, that we picked the civvie portal, or at least a friendly one? The post said this:
As the players stepped into Portal 2 and it closed behind them, they were amazed by the incredibly vibrant and soothing garden that awaited them. It was truly nothing short of perfection. A voice came from above: "Greetings! Please nominate the one among you who is good at heart and you will be rewarded."
I don't know if the person chosen will be rewarded, or if everyone who votes for a civvie will be rewarded, but I think it is important that we really pick someone we think may be good.

Gotta finish catching up, I started from the bottom, and saw this question~ bbl.

Who can say if this poll is a lynch at all?

Consistent unpredictability in an Avant-garde game implies that unpredictability is normalcy.

We can't say, i was asked my opinion, I gave it :)

I think it is not a lynch~ while Sockalex can be expected to be Avant in this game, I don;t expect him to be mean, and making up paint a target on someone we think is good, and then killing them, is not "Avant" IMO.

Certainly, i could be wrong (look Flyin Highs book, coming out soon, "All the Times SVS Was Wrong"~ it's a big book with tiny print and no pictures). But i think he said something in the post, and that is what will happen.

Fellow Voters,

I'm willing to accept all of your votes! It says trust-worthy which it's been made public I'm a civvie. Also, if it backfires and it actually does get me lynched, I haven't really had time to participate lately anyway so it's no big deal. I apologize to everyone who is still participating fully for my lack of attention. I'm going to go ahead and vote. Reading through the names, everyone makes me nervous. I guess I'll vote Illy since Illy was brought back too. I would self-vote but I'm not sure how that's looked upon. I don't want to seem too egotistical...although I am!

With love,
Mr. Droopy Cash.

Self-voting may work, but it almost seems too easy. Bringing up that those who vote or fail to vote for X will be killed brings up an interesting point. That being said, voting Droopy seems a good choice since it was revealed that he was actually a civ during the lynch/resurrection.
