I don't know. I think it would be highly unusual to tell a player that they were attacked if it didn't go through, but given my experience with these hosts, I wouldn't rule it out. That said... It's a very common role. It's just town crier. Hosts don't usually caveat that you can't lie with it but they usually do clarify that it's a cry.

That's almost bastardish? I vote no to that idea.
It's a very common role. It's just town crier. Hosts don't usually caveat that you can't lie with it but they usually do clarify that it's a cry.
I mean the idea that they put in a Town Crier, and then let the Mafia mess with what's true or false, making him a Town Liar.

Town crier isn't necessarily a village role. It's just the name of the role.
