Bollocks.

Yesterday, in fact, I promised something very different:
Golden wrote:If Floyd isn't the last harkonnen, I am absolutely confident it is luke. I'm not sure what Matt's game is, but it could well be setting up a civilian FZ lynch tomorrow. And yes, it will be a civilian lynch.
Golden wrote:@Matt - either floyd or luke is the last harkonnen. Luke isn't on the poll. Do the work if you like, but I would lynch a million civs before lynching FZ.
Golden wrote:Otherwise, just remember I trusted you on MM, I trust SVS on bea, I think its time to trust me on FZ. That doesn't necessarily have to mean you vote floyd.
And once again, Matt... your insistent approach to me makes me think, once again, that you would be the recruit if there is one. You fought me tooth and nail yesterday, and you are doing it again, but to say that yesterday I promised that Floyd WAS the last baddie is simply untrue.

I consistently promised that FZ wasn't, and that it was EITHER floyd or luke.

Holy toledo!

I just read Luke's ISO, and it is odd.

The day sig gets forced votes, Luke asks why everyone is voting for sig. The day Turnip is lynched, Floyd votes for TH, Luke says "can you please explain your vote". He seems to get specifically interested in players when it's the bad guys (and before we know they're the bad guys).

Also, Golden, calm down. That's all I'm asking. We have 48 hours.

Are you kidding?

I asked you your top three suspects, you said FZ, Golden, and Blooper. Now you're voting Luke right away on Golden's say so?

Yesterday he promised us Floyd as Harkonnen and me as Floyd's recruit. Day 1 he promised Zebra or he'd be gobsmacked, if I recall.

Stop voting for Luke please. Yes he very well may be mafia, but we have 48 hours. C'mon now.
That message says one of two things. Golden is right or Golden is scum. We shall test.

@Matt - I am perfectly calm.

I don't need 48 hours.

I don't need any hours, or even minutes.

It isn't FZ. It isn't ninja. It isn't bea. It isn't Mac. It isn't Eloh. It isn't you. And I know it isn't me. That leaves Sorsha (who would have to be the bussiest, most townie baddie of all time), banana (who would have to be the most lamoest lame baddie of all time, if he is literally only showing up to place kills) or luke.

I think Golden is good.

RIP SVS. We were both wrong about each other. Sorry this got a little ugly.

Question: If Banana was the last baddie standing (assuming no recruits), would Epi really let us continue the game? Wouldn't that just be the lamest thing ever?

Before I have to go, one more question:

Say Banana is the last baddie, but that there was a recruit before all the other baddies died, who would be the best option for that? I would target Sorsha for a kill or a recruit (not sure how it works) after the MM incident. She was very dangerous to the town. So you either want to block her every day (which you can't), or you want to take her out of the equation somehow, no?

Have you noticed that Sorsha hasn't had anything really valuable to say lately? She's just listening to others.

Why does everyone think there is a recruit now?

I am happy to discuss Sorsha though. I was expecting her dead Night 2 and every night since, but nada. No offense, Sorsha, why do the baddies continue to let you live?

I don't necessarily think there is a recruit, but if there was only one baddie left and it was banana, I'd be pissed that the game was still going on. A non active player always works out better for the baddies, especially in the late stages of the game. I get Epi not mod killing throughout the game, but only until that person is the last standing from their group. Otherwise, it just doesn't seem fair.

So, under the assumption of what I said above, there are two options:
1. There's one baddie left and it isn't Banana.
2. Banana was an original baddie, but somewhere along the way, someone got recruited, which is why the game is still going.

If 1 is correct, the only way I could see Sorsha being bad is if MM wanted out of the game on his own, and they came up with that method. But if that was the case, why didn't TH and Sig vote for MM too?
If 2 is correct, Sorsha would be a great choice for a recruit, and while the baddies probably thought she'd be saved on night 2, they might have hoped that wouldn't be the case on night 3. Plus, like I said, she hasn't really contributed much after the MM success, but I need to go back and look when did the change occur

Only they know. You'll have to ask them. There are protects and redirects though, I'm guessing those may have played a part. Other than that I don't know.

I'm considering giving Golden one more shot for picking the lynchee today and hoping we get the last of team hark.

@Matt - 'everyone' shouldn't think there is a recruit, I'm not sure how that has happened either. I raise the concept, and it becomes main stream. I just didn't want us to assume the last Harkonnen would end the game. I keep my mind open.

I put it out there as a possibility that one specific role could be a traitor. I also think there is a very limited pool of living people that specific role could be. Namely, Matt F. If Matt F is not that role (and he has claimed not to be), I do not think there is a traitor. Even if Matt F was that role, there is no guarantee he would be a traitor.

Ie, from my perspective, there is no recruit, or Matt F is a recruit. I think it very likely there is no recruit. I'm just keeping my eye on Matt as an outside possibility, to only be pursued if all Harkonnen are gone and the game has not ended.

Others seem to have latched on to the idea but far beyond what the lore appears to allow for, and knowing Epi's hosting style his roles will fit the story. The Emperor was a potential candidate for a traitor in lore, but its hardly a traitor when he is part of a faction which could just as easily be independent anyway.

@FZ - yeah, see, I would definitely find it lame too. That's why I have to vote luke. I can't imagine this game is continuing in this way if banana is the last baddie. I have to hope.

Okay.

Golden - I am not a traitor. I am not a recruit. I am not Harkonnen. Can you remind me how you've come to this conclusion?

Anyway, Golden seems pretty sure. FZ and Sorsha seem to think Golden is on the up and up as well, so let's lynch Luke and see what happens.

Sure! I have a huge soft spot when it comes to SVS. I have a hard time voting for her much less the idea of NKing her. When she has been bad and I've been civ, I've literally said bts "We need to kill svs before she catches the baddie stink on me, but I just can't." I've NKed my own husband. SVS - nope. I can't do it. That "I just can't pull the trigger on SVS" has morphed as I've become a more veteran player. Frankly as a baddie, I'm not going to kill her because it's far more satisfying to me and more challenging to me to trick her. When I'm bad and SVS is civ, I'd MUCH rather get through the game and have her say "Wow, I totally believe you the whole time," rather than "Of course you NKed me before I saw you were bad." While I have yet to do this succesfully, it's still my goal when Im in that situation. F inally, she saw I was the civ I am. She defended me. HARD. I get WIFOM, but you KNOW me Eloh - you've BEEN bad with me- do you really really think I would have killed SVS when she was my biggest defender?

I think banana looks bad because he could be inactive and be smuggler, because the smuggler hasn't done much or he could be the last harkonnen and he's been inactive but not all the time and he could have made it so that no one could see his status and killed people but said nothing.

People also think you are bad because you were most talky during the sig lynch and he was bad. Then again during the floyd lynch and he wasn't necessarily bad.

If nanner is the smuggler at this point it's a non issue because they are obviously not playing. Who else?
