It's completely obvious in the thread exactly how I felt at each stage of MM's case. I do not have to spell out which part of the case I had the read in 10 times. I've made it abundantly clear. A desire to trip me up in semantics does nothing for you.
Go after me hard and lynch me today and you will be looking real bad tomorrow.

I've never claimed it was intentional. When I said 'I prompted you to do so', I did not have any implication that 'I intended to prompt you to do so' - merely that it is factual that it did prompt you to do so.Metalmarsh89 wrote:I don't think it's obvious at all.Golden wrote:You are doing the rico play of trying to tie me up in semantics, and I'm not interested in it.

You were ready to dismiss the case here, but you currently say that you were actually using that post to give me a chance to improve my case. However...
MovingPictures07 saw it as the case was flawed and you were right.
zebra also quickly sided with your point, and even disagreed with my follow up here, but that's a different issue.
So considering how the two people who bothered to respond to your statement did not see the intent you had, I still think your claim that it was intentional is bollocks.
Oh baby I'll keep you sane.Dyslexicon wrote:Who is going to keep me sane this game?
No it isn't. I said exactly what I meant to say. She is the one who said 'you've said outright my lynch would be a mislynch', which I did not say.Metalmarsh89 wrote:Scum-diddly-um-slip (by Golden not you).a2thezebra wrote:Word of advice though; it might be a bit more difficult to mislynch me when you've outright stated that my lynch would be a mislynch.
Maybe they would've maybe they wouldn't have. I was more confident on MM and I didn't want to unbalance the wagons when every vote counted. I think your just No Uing me and are mad I tried to lynch you, and I didn't even try that hard.Soneji wrote:How were you to know it would be wasted? Maybe if you had shown more confidence in your read and got the ball rolling with a vote on me, people would have followed. Frog had only one vote when I placed my vote, same as the situation would have been with you. You didn't choose to do that, despite how very eager you were to get people to pay attention to your read on me and start a counterwagon. This lack of spine, jumping on me so quickly with vague reasoning and hypocrisy(not liking CFD's but wanting to get one started on me) is why I'm voting you. If you had had the courage of your conviction, I'd be less inclined to think you're mafia.sig wrote: Soneji I didn't switch my vote since nobody else seemed to agree, and I said while it was happening I wanted to lynch MM.Why should I have wasted my vote? Tell them this on downton they don't believe me. :Pika wrote:I'm on break but anyone who thinks I wouldn't kill silver n1 is being redoicolus.

I was teasing you.Golden wrote:No it isn't. I said exactly what I meant to say. What I did say, was that I'd sooner mislynch her than be lynched myself. IE - if she does nothing but tunnel on me, ends up lynched, and comes back town, I won't be losing sleep over it.
If I'd said 'I'd sooner lynch her than be lynched myself', that would be basically meaningless. I fully intended to mean what I said.
Golden wrote:Thats bollocks. You were there at the time - you AGREED with me that MM's initial case was flawed. Remember this?a2thezebra wrote:See Golden, I'm sorry if I'm wrong but this whole post just seems so fake. You only vocalized the distinction between the initial case and the "extra work" after MM called you out on contradicting yourself. If he hadn't have called you out, would that distinction ever have been made?Golden wrote:Because you then added to the case, after I prompted you to do so. You were quite content to make a flawed case to begin with.Metalmarsh89 wrote:Bullshit.Golden wrote:I wasn't wrong at all, MM. Your case on sloonei was shit, because you hadn't demonstrated any context. I don't have to do your research for you.Metalmarsh89 wrote:Golden: I didn't like his attitude wert me yesterday. He, like you, was very hesitant to vote for Sloonei, despite acknowledging that Sloonei was a decent candidate for Day 1. Also, responses like this just give me the shivers. An "Oh, of course I meant to do that" instead of an "Aye, good call there, I was wrong".
If the case was shit, why did you concede that Sloonei was on your list of "players to lynch" as a result of the case?
Having said that, then when you DID do the extra work, I was surprised to discover your case actually had merit. Doesn't change the fact that I do not agree that your initial case had merit. It was half-assed and flawed, and looked to me like a case that you were portraying just to get yourself off the bottom.
I don't know why you'd expect me to say "I was wrong" for forcing you to build a fuller case. I was quite satisfied with my work.
The only reason I'm having to vocalize the distinction is because MM is acting as though it isn't there. Based on simply reading the thread, it's quite obvious that it was there all along. Why would I need to vocalise it before MM implied that I had agreed with his case all along?a2thezebra wrote:This also sums up my thoughts on that particular part of MM's case on Sloonei quite nicely.Golden wrote:What MM fails to account for in his case on sloonei is the extent to which sloonei already town read or trusted ika vs frog. If I came on asking people who I should vote for and a person I didn't have any reason to trust gave me one answer and a person I'm reading as town gave me another, I know I'd dismiss one and focus on the other.
Just go back and read the passage of the thread - I called him on his flaw in the initial case, he did more work, and THEN after he did it I agreed with his case. The two cannot be conflated, and I shouldn't have to point out the truth of it for it to be evidently true.
Why are they on the same team?Golden wrote:My answer - sloonei and marmot. I think they are on a team together, and I think marmot's case on sloonei was deliberate distancing.
Oh good, so can you answer my question for you?sig wrote:weeee all caught up about to finish my dinner, and watching the great food truck race. Posts will be coming in shortly.

I am aware of the situation with Soneji and it is being worked out. I would advise players against speculating about his potential replacement or non-replacement.

Wilgy - I don't expect anyone to 'know' my hunch is correct. Thinking about it in the sense of what 'works' is silly. I'm just telling you what I think happened. Either it did or it didn't. I was looking for an early push against me, and it came. I could have sat on my hunch for ages, and waited until someone said 'also, I bet you would have killed silverwolf, she was after you', or whatever. Yes, I could have. But, I shouldn't need to wait to see what I think could be coming before I say 'this is what I think the intent was'.DrWilgy wrote:Baddie team... MP, Zexy, Sloonei, and Golden!
@Golden, Dislexicocoa is right. A frame only works if someone other than the recipient brings it up. It's an argument more than a statement - ish scenario. The other problem is the implication of you being civilian and that doesn't sit right. Without us knowing your identity, that hunch of yours was nothing more than fluff with a slight hint of "hey guys I'm civ".
Almost to my compuuuuutor.
Yes. Or, possibly more accurately, I reacted to the Epi substitution in fun, but then wanted to make clear it was in fun, whereas the reaction to the Matt substitution is not actually a reaction to the substitution. My vote was heading back to Sloonei even if Matt hadn't subbed in. My vote for zebra really was only an effort to snap her out of her tunnelling.Metalmarsh89 wrote:Golden, I know you had Long Con as a slight town read and Sloonei as a moderate scum read. Is that the only reason you reacted to these two substitutions differently.

If there is something wrong with either of the things you mentioned above, can you please explain why?
I was actually thinking that you and Sloonei were on a team together, which is why you didn't vote for him yesterday, but did today. Besides this, as I've made the point before... I don't 'plan' busses. Ever. There is no value in it. Bussing is a phenomenon that MUST feel natural out of your reads. If it feels like you've suddenly shifted direction, it's pointless. If I'm going to bus, it's my call alone and I make it in the moment... and if I have day time talk, I'll say sorry to my teammate, but I'll do what I have to do.Metalmarsh89 wrote:I was actually thinking that you and Sloonei were on a team together, which is why you didn't vote for him yesterday, but did today. But with Matt replacing in, that makes the tin-foil moot. Sloonei wouldn't replace out if he was planning on being bussed. That doesn't fit. I still find Sloonei suspicious and would like to hear from Matt sooner than later. As for you, I would list you as slight mafia still.

I like this list, I'd bump sloonie up to null though. I believe Dizzy is town.Dyslexicon wrote:Town: MP, Golden, Marco
Likely town: Zebra, sig, Zexy
Null: PSI (will he be replaced?)
All possible scum: IAWY, Ika, Wilgy, Soneji, MM, Sloonei
This is roughly where I'm at with my reads right now. Taking into consideration interactions and what other people say in my read on Sig. Zexy is not a strong town read, but I still feel it's more likely he is town. Obviously someone in the suspicion group is town.
Catch up. Then we'll talk.MovingPictures07 wrote:Who else is here?
