I disagree. If it was SVS that messaged Epi and asked to replace a non-participating Banana, then it may just be an SVS that wants to win with her civ team. SVS, did you inquire about replacing in?

Matt what sort of question is that? I've plainly stated already that I am voting to lynch Luke under insistence of Golden and that I will be slaughtering his face should Luke flip civ because he said that he was 100% certain that Luke was the last Hark. 100% certain. You don't say that and be wrong and then live to tell of it. So Luke best flip civ or I am going to see to it that Goldilocks takes a dirt nap.

Day 6:
Looking over the dunes of Arrakis, you see a swarm of Fremen, their blue-in-blue eyes glowing the desert night like stars come to destroy the planet.
Instead, they begin their task of eliminating the Sardaukar.
A well-planed lasgun blast destroys the shield walls, and many are slain.
A diminutive S~V~S approaches Luke11646, and says, “This was meant for Lady Jessica, but you killed her, so I’ll give it to you instead.”
Luke11646’s face drains of color as S~V~S drives a hidden crysknife into the fortress around his heart.
And then into his actual heart.
Luke 11646 has been lynched and was Feyd-Rautha.
Dune has been purged of Harkonnen.
Congratulations to:

Dune
House Arteides
You must defeat House Harkonnen and survive to win.
Paul Maud’Dib
As the ducal heir, Paul Arteides, you will learn your father’s ability should he perish. As Maud’Dib, you will see glimpses into the future.
Duke Leto
As the Duke of House Arteides, you can, one time only, command all of House Arteides to vote one person the next Day. Everyone must obey this order or die for treason.
Lady Jessica
As a Bene Gesserit, you have a number of one-time abilities at your disposal:
Oral Analysis: You may ask the Host to give you the recipe to whatever meal he prepared that evening.
Internal Organic-Chemical Control: You are immune to poison. This is a passive ability and a constant effect.
Prana Bindu: You can fake your own death, and anyone trying to kill you will pass you by that Night.
Weirding Way: You can train someone in the Weirding Way, increasing that person’s combat skills and making your trainee immune against one Night kill.
The Voice: You can command someone to do something, either vote the way you wish or target in the manner you demand.
Sensing the Truth: You can lie detect one statement.
Petit Perception: You can discover if someone’s vote the previous Day was for someone of his or her own faction.
Thufir Hawat
Responsible for Arteides House security, you will choose to protect one role (your target) from House Arteides from all negative actions, including death. As a Mentat, you also choose a person and attempt to learn his or her secrets, receiving one letter to the puzzle. On subsequent Nights, you will choose another person and another letter, receiving that letter also for any previous role secrets you are working on. The Host will not confirm solutions.
Gurney Halleck
On odd Nights, you will play music on your baliset and sing a song. On even Nights, you will quote from the Orange Catholic Bible. Your submission will be posted to the thread through the Host.
Duncan Idaho
As a swordmaster, pilot, and survivalist, you will survive the first attempt on your life, whether by lynch or kill. Upon your survival, you will have one kill to use the next Night only, which will fail if you attempt to take the life of someone from House Arteides.
Wellington Yueh
As a Suk doctor, you can treat illnesses and poisons. Each Night, you will search for an ill person to treat, and if successful, restore that person to health.
House Harkonnen
You must eliminate House Arteides and the Fremen. One of you may kill each Night, but the killer cannot use his regular ability.
Baron Vladimir
Deploying your military forces to execute your stratagems and will, you will prevent someone from acting each Night. You have BTSC with Piter De Vries and Feyd-Rautha.
Piter De Vries
The Baron’s mentat, you are a calculating advisor with the mental processing power of a computer. You have BTSC with the Baron and Feyd-Rautha. As a Mentat, you may choose a person and attempt to learn his or her secrets, receiving one letter to the puzzle. On subsequent Nights, you will choose another person and another letter, receiving that letter also for any previous role secrets you are working on. The Host will not confirm solutions.
Feyd-Rautha
A fearsome and tricky warrior, you seek to poison someone each Night. Your victim will accumulate one vote each Day phase until dead or the poison is neutralized.
Gloussu “Beast” Rabban
Though terrible enough to be called “Beast” on Arrakis, you do not have BTSC with the rest of House Harkonnen. You are a tool. However, you are a terrible tool, one that frightens Arrakis. Each Night, you can banish someone into the desert, and while there, that person cannot vote the next Day. There is a chance that person cannot use any action that Night. There is also a chance that person will die that Night. While you do not know your co-conspirators, the rest of House Harkonnen know you. (Host secret: Beast gains BTSC with the remaining Harkonnen if the Baron is dead)
The Fremen
You must eliminate House Harkonnen. If Maud’Dib is alive at the end, you win whether you are alive or dead; otherwise, you must survive. If someone is in the desert, the Fremen will know and vote secretly on whether that person should be spared or killed. At least two votes among you are necessary for salvation; otherwise the individual is left to perish.
Stilgar
As the Fremen leader of Sietch Tabr, you hide someone in your Sietch, taking him or her off the poll.
Chani
Each Night, you will search for Paul Maud’Dib. As his concubine, you will gain permanent BTSC with him if you find him.
Liet-Kynes
As a notable planetologist and ecologist, you can study the activity of any person and learn whom he or she targeted that Night. Due to your knowledge of local plants and herbal healing, you may cure yourself from poison once.
Shadout Mapes
You are the head housekeeper for House Arteides. You search each Night for Lady Jessica in order to give her your Crysknife. If this happens, Lady Jessica gains one kill.
The Emperor
Shaddam Corrino IV
Commander of the Sardaukar elite troops, you have been attempting to weave a delicate political scheme without tipping your hand altogether. You win if Paul, Duke Leto, Lady Jessica, and Baron Vladimir are dead. As the Emperor, you may force someone to target as you see fit. You also are the determiner of any ties (provide the host with an updated list as long as you are alive).
Princess Irulan
Historian and chronicler of great renown, you are the Princess Irulan. Each Night, you will research one person in an attempt to learn more about Paul Maud’Dib, and you will submit a commentary to the thread through the Host. You can win with any faction as long as Paul Maud’Dib is alive at the end. If he is dead, then you can win with your father, Emperor Shaddam Corrino IV.
Gaius Helen Mohiam
You live your life constantly testing things to seek the truth. You have seen a vision of four who could change the world. What four did you see? You saw the ones who have the stolen Gom Jabbar from Day 0. If any of these four survive to the end, your prophecy comes true, and you win, whether you are alive or dead.
Weirding Way: You can train someone in the Weirding Way, increasing that person’s combat skills and making your trainee immune against his or her first Night kill.
The Voice: You can command someone to do something, either vote the way you wish or target in the manner you demand.
Sensing the Truth: You can lie detect one statement.
Petit Perception: You can discover if someone’s vote the previous Day was for someone of his or her own faction.
The Smuggler
Esmar Tuek
You are a smuggler, and all you care about is getting the spice mélange off Arrakis. However, politics has complicated things. You must survive, and anyone who has spice mélange Day 0 must be dead for you to win.

So, Matt, were you Paul not Wellington?
I got puzzles to solve your roles. No role names, but I had to figure it out from the content. Here is what I'd figured out.
Mac was Duncan (night one)
SVS was Jessica (night two). I also guessed Sorsha was Gaius Helen Mohaim from solving some of SVS role, because it seemed consistent with Sorsha's claims (am I right, Sorsha?).
Ninja was Irulan (night three)
FZ was Lyet Kynes (night four) - but this one took me a very long time to figure out. Eventually I got the word 'planetologist'
Bea was Chani (night five)
@Eloh - who did you really want our house to vote for?

Spice Mélange - You are now being hunted by the smuggler, Esmar Tuek. Good luck surviving.
A Literjon of Water - It’s water. Save it for when you get thirsty.
Gom Jabbar - While you should be able to poison someone with this item, it has no poison on its tip. Strange. You feel a strange sensation come over you as you handle it.
Poison Snooper - If someone tries to poison you, it will fail the first time.
Windtrap - In three phases, you will have a Literjon of Water.
Lasgun - Use this weapon once to rob someone of an item taken Day 0.

Your team made some...questionable decisions. Luke never voted to save either of you OR bus either of you. Night 1 he poisoned someone who had a poison snooper (a cursory Google would have shown that was probably a bad idea).
One Night you guys wanted to kill and poison the same person.

Matt F got to see the future. I would send him a PM a couple hours before the deadline.
Night 1, he would learn what would happen based on the first PM sent. Night 2, he would learn what would happen based on the second PM sent. And so forth. I obviously had to wait on the blocker and redirect for this to work, but it worked out fine I think.
He learned that S~V~S would not be killed Night 1 (which is why MattF asked the question he did).
He also learned the bea had failed on a Night there was no kill, which is why he went nuts over bea. Ironically, bea was his mate, and she searched him in order to hopefully get him off her back. She turned out to be successful and gained BTSC with Matt F.
Funny how that worked out.

I was hoping some more false information came into play. S~V~S lie detected bea's statement about having BTSC, but had she done so later, she would have been told that was a lie (since she gained it with Matt F). Had she lie detected a similar statement from Turnip Head early on, it would have come back true.

Seems like it's always rained this week, so tonight was an opportunity to fire up the grill. I grill outdoors in colder weather mostly, unlike most people.
I dry rubbed a couple of chuck-eye steaks, one with McCormick's Montreal Steak seasoning, the other with simple table salt (Eloh is boring

). The beauty of chuck-eye steak is that it's marbled similarly to rib-eye steak and comes from the same part of the cow, but retails at a fraction of the cost. I would dare say that, if prepared properly, a minority of people would be able to tell the difference between the two cuts.
To go with it is a beautiful cauliflower puree. While some people argue that purees are "baby food," I disagree: They pair well with thick, meaty proteins and provide a balance.
Here's how I make mine:
1 head of cauliflower, cut into pieces
2 chicken bouillon cubes
1 teaspoon of salt
3 tablespoons of butter
Cayenne pepper (for garnish)
Boil the bouillon cubes in water, then add the cauliflower. Cook until finished. Add your cauliflower and a measure of the broth (you really have to eyeball it) to your blender. Put that butter in there and give it a minute to melt a little. Blend. Serve, garnished with cayenne pepper.
We have to use cayenne pepper as an optional garnish because everybody in my house is a weenie except me.
And to drink? Killian's Irish Red. Can never go wrong with one of those.

Internal Organic-Chemical Control: You are immune to poison. This is a passive ability and a constant effect.
Prana Bindu: You can fake your own death, and anyone trying to kill you will pass you by that Night. Use night six on myself
Weirding Way: You can train someone in the Weirding Way, increasing that person’s combat skills and making your trainee immune against his or her first Night kill. Used night four on Elohcin
The Voice: You can command someone to do something, either vote the way you wish or target in the manner you demand.Never used this power
Sensing the Truth: You can lie detect one statement. Used night one: I detected a statement of MM and found out he was bad.
Petit Perception: You can discover if someone’s vote the previous Day was for someone of his

Mac's first post in the game
MacDougall wrote:Sig picked the gun when he had choices ergo he's a killer and easy day 1 lynch.
Okay, coincidence that Mac's very first post he identifies sig as a killer? I believe in Talking Heads, Jimmy Jay found multiple games in which Mac identified his own teammates as mafia and quite early in the game, when I had asked 3J about it. If you don't want to take my word for it, I will (dreadfully) go search 3J's ISO for those links.
But okay, let's just say Mac was being funny. Alright, let's move on.
The second time Mac susses someone in the game, his ninth post...

And no, not really. This discussion should get people motivated to talk. It should influence a lot of play. It will help incentivise conversation on day 1 that could lead to genuine cases. Better that than we start by just asking about the weather. Let the games begin.
Policy-lynching a player Day 1 every game is unproductive, especially if you declare such a plan.
I will no be voting for Matt F today.
So you will not be voting for Matt F even if significant evidence comes out in the thread that should encourage his lynch for not policy lynch reasons? Interesting.
And who said anything about doing it every game?

on Metalmarsh
So, the first three players he identifies as mafia or is suspicious of (whether it seems like he was joking or not), all turn out to be mafia.
Genius level scum hunter or scum himself?
My only drawback here is that Elohcin insists that those who were forced to vote sig are good.
Fyi I'm NOT trying to lynch Mac right away, but I felt it was worth sharing. What do you think?
