hello nice to meet you! im excited to hang with so many new people and also see some old friends that I haven't chilled with in a while, and im nervous bc im not very good at mafia and I am very susceptible to being pocketed so I feel like I gotta watch my back and have a nice healthy dose of paranoia at all times

Hi, I am a Gnome! I spend a lot of time in the garden so I don't go out on very many dates. I understand about feeling nervous and excited and about the need to have a healthy dose of paranoia because I too get pcoketed a lot by eager scum! They are so charming that I end up on and I am not even aware of all of the noisy howls It is very sad. I am looking for a sweet towny date and feel nervous and excited about finding romance, despite the presence of scummy scum scum!

For me, opening posts can be really telling. Someone is either an eager scum trying too hard to appear towny right off the bat or they are town eager to get the game started. In that consideration, Tang’s posts gave me vibes of the latter.

I’m not talking a lot about reading opening posts, I commented on some opening posts and people questioned me. To call me out for answering those questions, what is the scum motivation to answer them? Is town-motivated to ignore them?

1) I haven’t read your opening I don’t think. If I did, it obviously didn’t stand out as I don’t remember it. I’m thinking I haven’t read it yet. Why are you defending it? It defeats the purpose to ask for my opinion on something and then influence my opinion with a defense before I can answer.

2) I mean, my answer was in that explanation lol. But to clarify, scum can sometimes enter in appearing immediately fine and then follow up their first post with posts trying to keep up a rouse. I didn’t see that with Tangy’s posts. They felt genuine all the way through the first couple interactions. There was no shift in tone after people entered and joined the convo.

If you can read gnome, you’re a better person than I lol. I generally hate meta, but gnome has been an impossible one for me to read because I’m always so sure she’s scum and then she isn’t.

With that said, people have called her “scummy scum scum” phrases as a town tell which makes me wonder if this is her attempting to channel her inner town or if she is actually town. (Or maybe I have that mixed up. I don’t know. PerC people wanna confirm or correct?)

LAMIST is probably the most common scum agenda in the first 30 minutes of a game. Sometimes a partner has a strong entrance and you try to force a clear on them.

I don't care about the language. The only question in my mind right now is if GG will continue to fluff or if they'll switch into content mode soon. I suspect they'll have a lot harder doing the latter naturally and in a townie way if they are mafia.
