I was always tickled when I'd read "I don't think they are good enough to do that" while they slowly lose to me. Humans will ignore what's right in front of them as long as they have a bias in their mind about you. Mafia is just a long term manipulation of people's perspective.

The only downside to this strat is how much people will shit talk you outside of game and disrespect you.

I am really not in the camp of them counting as wolves yet but I am happy to work under that assumption with you Neenooneenooneenoo

ye, on sign ups I thought it was 7/7/1 and in my head I was running through game theory of how to win as either faction and playing it out in my head and it was a really tough bit of meat to chew on but then I checked again on game start and I realised it was 1/7/13 so I was very disappointed but also less worried about things at the same time. But probably will run a 7/7/1 type game in the future because the politics of that are glorious to think about

I saw where some people saw a post where it said the Deadlys can change alignment, and that makes sense to me. The Doe role wouldn't be listed as "Mafia" if it was a "Serial Killer". I don't recall who here if anyone played Goldens Battlestar Galactica game. The solo Mafia role (which was me) had to search for their teammates which was an epic nightmare, I can tell you. That makes more sense than a named Mafia faction consisting of one person. Although in the movie maybe he really is a one man mafia. (spoilered for those that inexplicably have not seen this yet). But since the Deadlys vote counts double for a large chunk of the town, they are not just 3P either.

They do exist, but I don't recommend going for them. There's other possibilities to clear someone.

ye, on sign ups I thought it was 7/7/1 and in my head I was running through game theory of how to win as either faction and playing it out in my head and it was a really tough bit of meat to chew on but then I checked again on game start and I realised it was 1/7/13 so I was very disappointed but also less worried about things at the same time. But probably will run a 7/7/1 type game in the future because the politics of that are glorious to think about

yeah, I think each team would need a killing power when they dont have majority or a tie or something like that, some sort of balacing mechanic. Mafia has to keep the balance between the factions and. Obviously mafia knows which faction is which and who is who and just has to survive.tm

I'd play the fuck out of that if it happens.

Like statistically more likely to hit wolfs but there's more of them. Balance would be important but you could do it

not exactly, 1 wolf out of 14? Everyone is blind but the wolf, both factions just want to off the other side to gain voting majority. I might toy around with the wolf knowing the factions, maybe not knowing would be more fun since they have to investigate to keep the factions balanced to avoid the weight of one side overwhelming.
