A fair question... I've been ISOing you off and on, and certain things in it lead me to suspect you. I suppose I'll have to post the partial ISO after I post this, to share what I mean.

Jackofhearts2005 wrote:Third, Eloh goes off on Quin for not following the Dom train, which is hilarious to me for several reasons. Eloh doesn't know why we're voting Dom. Several players have expressed concern that the Dom lynch is too easy. Some asked for other suspects (LC) or provided them (Epi) but most just said they were worried and nobody strongly went after anyone. Quin still votes DDL, which I disagree with but it draws unnecessary attention no matter how Dom flips and won't save Dom if they were w/w so I don't see why a scummer would bother. As town, it at least gets an opinion on record and as indy, it might be nightkill insurance. Whatever Quin's reasons for voting DDL, I think Eloh's response is way off mark. It's a bad look.
It is a bad look. So, I chose Eloh to ISO.

Post #1: Checks in on Day 0. Votes for North on the Day 0 poll.

Post #2:First real post. Agrees with Jack that Snow Dog's unread rolecard would be a good ploy for a baddie to use, and disagrees with Zebra, who saw Jack as not being sincere about his Snow Dog opinion. My opinion here is that Jack was being less-than-serious, which, to me, indicates that he understood what was really going on, on some level, and responded appropriately. "What was really going on" being that Snow Dog was just joking around about not reading his rolecard. Which would also mean that zebra was correct, in a way.

Eloh believes Snow Dog is lying about not reading his role PM, and agrees with DDL that if Snow Dog is lying, he's likely bad.

Post #3: Curtly reiterates that she believes Snow Dog is lying.

Post #4 and #5: Finds out that Snow Dog's thing was a joke and is dismayed at the time she spent on it. She still originally intended to press consequences on Snow Dog for lying, for what it's worth. That gives a slight baddie tick mark in my opinion.

Post #6: Gives a list of names, but I'm not totally sure what it represents - "discussing the subject" but which subject? Laments again about wasted time on Snow Dog, and says she will "try to give him a fresh start in my book". (Post #7 clarifies she was talking to Epi in Post #6, Post #8 she derps, Post #9 she jokes, Post #10 she OT's, Post #11 she corrects).

Post #12: Asks Sorsha about her request for a Day 0 poll record. What she asks about here is not likely to be very relevant, but that's just my opinion. This is her last post for three days, on Dec 20th.

Post #13: Dec 23rd, comes back with a reasonable explanation for her absence.

Post #14: Dec 25th. Just catchup questions, poor quarantine procedures. Not a suspicious post to me.

Post #17: Starting to get into the game a little, asks two game-pertinent questions that can lead to a better read of the game.

... that's where I am so far, I come away from this with a slight baddie lean for Eloh. I believe there are other things along the way, in the future of this ISO, that I found suspicious when I read them. I'm just adding to it when I can, but I have other things to do today as well.

Going to do a few ISO's as catching up normally at this time when I'm preparing to put up sign-ups for a big game on NF is just too much right now. As always, remember that I do not have town reads, just varying levels of scumreads.

MP : Not a whole lot of content to work off of as hes perpetually in catch-up mode. Early contributions only consisted of asking people about their reads of people they commented on. Had some good input on the spirityo 2.0 wagon, with him pointing out how spirityo was too focused on trying to defend Glorf or be angry at people for lynching him then scumhunting. Had valid suspicion on LC but didn't vote that way, instead voting soup. This gives me confidence that he is likely not Troupe, could be a Ghastly Guardian with his total dodging of the main two lynches though. Was talking of Dom d2 before he was a main lynch candidate.

Conclusion : Slight scum lean

MetalMarsh : Lots of small one, two sentences posts. Very little in the way of scumhunting over, strongest read all game seemed to be D2 on sig, saying he 100% disagreed with him on Glorf and posted several things that would explain Glorf's replacing out. Has been followings others leads. Only slight townish vibe I got from him was him saying DDL's reason for suspicion on Quin was overly complicated.

Conclusion : Weak scum lean

Zebra : The only topic he has discussed all game is the Snow Dog situation. Said he has been super busy since then but I still don't like the way he went about attributing a tactic to Snow Dog's actions that clearly weren't there.

Conclusion : Moderate scum lean

Sorcha : Has been mainly sheeping for most of the game. Kept asking Epi and Spacedaisy about how they'd go about determining who was sitting on the sidelines in the Snow Dog debate instead of just figuring it out herself. Has asked about some weird stuff like the day 0 poll and if LC knew who cursed him. Other then that talked about mechanical guilt with the possibility of a lie detect on Quin from Dom and Epi's suspicion on Elo not making sense to her. Her last several posts have been better than what was there before, showing some actual opinions of her own but not enough for me to feel that good about her. Her early stuff is total sheep.

Conclusion : Moderate scum lean

Hi Sir. This is interesting. It was Golden that also said we ought not talk about Dom's past life at all. Said we ought to make it "off limits" and "infer nothing" from it. I bet Dom came back bad and it's a team of him, Golden, and Sprit/Glor, and whoever else (I think there are four total...I'd have to look again).
You are making flying leaps in logic there. 'This is interesting... now let's just make a giant assumption.'

LC, I have to say, I really see no suspiciousness from the ISO you've done so far on me. I look forward to hear more specifics. Please don't just say, "I find this suspicious" and move on. That's a really dramatic response. I'm not trying to target you as an easy lynch, and I don't think that way about you. "Grasping at straws" isn't appropriate; I'm not desperate to get you lynched or anything. The ISO as it stands has you getting a slight baddie tick, and nothing to convince me you are Civ. Epi's opinion that you're bad carries some weight to me. Maybe I should just cancel the in-depth ISO and fast-forward to other suspicious things.

The part about Eloh agreeing with Jack about whether Snow Dog's shtick is interesting. I recall she played Monkey Island, and although she did sub out, it was well after the discussion about Wilgy's claim, so she ought to have made the connection between games, whether she thought that was what was going on this time or not.

You say slight baddie tick, but you never gave a reason for it.

And as for Sir Epi, he cannot even make up his mind about it. Put yourself in my shoes when it comes to Sir. Can you imagine having everyone always listening to Black Rock when it comes to your alignment? It's just gotten old. Every game Sir and I are in together players ask him what he thinks of me and take it as truth. The only reason players are back and forth on what to believe is because Sir Epi is back and forth on me, himself.

I do sympathize with that. BR and I have an agreement that we don't really pay attention to each other for the first half of the game, and that's what I tell people when they ask my opinion of her. The baddie tick I got from that is that it seemed like you were setting up Snow Dog for a lynch for a joke, that you were pushing the "Snow Dog is lying and so he's bad" angle that I think is really weak. Opportunistic, as in you saw the opportunity to push a dude's lynch and took it.

I'm up to here rereading your posts and I don't have another baddie tick. IT may end up that I chalk this up to "getting a reaction from Eloh" and not voting you, I can't say until I'm done the reread.

FWIW, I was being genuine Day 0. At first, I thought Snow was serious about not reading his role. And then I thought, well, maybe he did, is bad, and is lying so if he is found suspicious, he can say "well, my behavior cannot be baddie behavior since I don't even know my own alignment." But then I found out (I think Day 1) that it was some kind of joke from another game and so I let it go. In fact, I think it was Sir Epi that pointed that out to me and I was a little shocked. He is usually not that nice to me in Mafia. He likes to just let me struggle. Still not sure what to think of that. He isn't one for explaining things to me.

My husband and I are also sitting at home drinking and watching the college football playoffs. But I'm not playing this game so I can't put down my drink and discuss.

I actually agree. I couldn't care less for bars, crowded places, or pants. I only wear pants b/c my children are older now and I kind of have to now.

Hi Jules. I am having a drink with cranberry juice, orange juice, sprite, and vodka.

Sir Epi has been having rum and coke

No need to put down your drink and discuss; it's a holiday, be merry, help me find someone to cast the first stone at!

We had mimosas in the afternoon, but have since shifted to dark and stormies. When midnight hits, we are making super margaritas!
I'm sorry that your kids are old enough where pants are necessary Elo :(

I am spending my New Year's Eve compiling a statistical analysis of Syndicate games. Now that I've typed that out and recognized what is happening, I am going to stop spending my New Year's Eve compiling a statistical analysis of Syndicate games. I am going to do something else. Anything else. :|

I think that Daisy and DDL are town.
Elo gets a pass for today because I like Elo.
Epi is town, it would amuse me to lynch Dom again, MP gets a pass, Snow Dog probably is something bad, Soneji would vote, Sig I wouldn't, Zebra I would.

So, I'll read through Dom, Snow, Soneji, Zebra, which is manageable enough.

If Dom were on the poll, I would vote him. But alas...

Sir Epi, are the boys almost done with their pokemon battle?

I won't support a Dom lynch. At least not right now. Maybe later. Not today.
