What’s the most disappointing concert you’ve ever been to?

Anberlin and Taking Back Sunday in college. They had like no live energy, they just played the songs the way they sound on the record

Favorite phone game/app?

Probably Words with Friends, I also play alot of phone mahjong waiting in lines and such, too.

I forget my phone at home at least once a week. How often do you forget your phone?

Never. My phone was joined to me at the hip at my last job, so I am still in the habit of making sure I have it when I go anywhere.

What is your favorite breakfast cereal?

I just looked it up, and apparently my favorite cereal is no longer being produced. That’s disappointing. It was a corn flake & mixed berry thing from Kashi. I hadn’t seen it in stores for a few months and it’s not listed anywhere on their website. I don’t know what my next favorite is. Crispix?

Would you sign my petition to get Kashi to start manufacturing that cereal again?

Which extinction event will wipe out the human species?

Plastics poisoning our waters and food chain.

No, there are so many skeletons in my closet, I can't even wedge a scarf in there.

I like Jung. He seems the closest to understanding the intrinsic nature of how our consciousness connects to reality. His concepts are complex but accessible.

To what foreign countries have you been, if any?

Ireland and Canada. I technically crossed into the UK for a day when I was visiting Ireland as well.

Spanish

What’s the nastiest meal you’ve ever eaten?

Some kind of bird my cousin shot, maybe pheasant? It was gamy and tasted awful and I bit into a pellet.

Pacino or DeNiro?

I’ll go with DeNiro, since I’ve seen more of his stuff. Pacino seems to try too hard more often.

The Seventh Seal, or maybe Rashomon. Even all these years later it's so unique.

No. While I like purple, there’s not a catchy acronym and turnips are even less intimidating a mascot than the school I went to (the Flying Dutchmen).

Black with a green leaf pattern, but mostly black.

Ooo, hard one. If it were a true West Side Story style, which involved modern interpretive dance, I would give the edge to the bros.

How early did you get up this morning? How early most mornings?

This morning I got up at 7 but most mornings I am up between 5 and 6. Insomnia strikes.

My right knee. I've done all kinds of hurting on myself in my life, and much of it seemed to fall on my right knee.

Only while driving. I’m a little nearsighted.

Other than your team, who do you think is the best team in your favorite professional sport for the coming year?

The Dodgers, because they were already a powerhouse and then they added the best player from my favorite team. Their lineup could be historically good this year.

Do you recycle?

Yes, obsessively. At my previous apartment no recycling space was provided, so I dragged piles of junk across town to the recycling center about once per month.

Alfredo. It's what I'm making tonight, as a matter of fact.

Do you enjoy neckwear of any kind?

I think neck ties have their moments. I wear one every day for work. It can be fun to put a sharp combo together.

What is your favorite prank?

Take a screenshot of a co-workers desktop, put all of their shortcuts into a folder, and then hide the folder off of their desktop. When they get on their computer, try not to laugh as they flail about trying to click on their shortcuts.

What’s the best prank someone has pulled on you?

Years ago, I had just started a new job as a general manager at an optical. We did inventory quarterly, and it was a very complex affair involving alot of small items. It was my first inventory, and I was told the two department managers had it down pat, and not to worry, I would be ok. On 4/1 (inventory day) we closed early, set up the terminals, got out our clipboards ... and the two managers got into a huge screaming fight. One stormed out, and the other ran to the bathroom crying, and I stood there with my mouth hanging open, holding my clipboard. For almost a minute. Then they came back hysterical laughing screaming "APRIL FOOLS". I didn't know if I wanted to hug them or slap them, lol. Good times.

What's the best time you ever had at work?

One year at my first job I hid a bunch of little foam shamrocks around the building the night before St. Patrick’s Day. The next day, I brought in a bunch of little prizes for those who found the shamrocks. People got so into it that we weren’t very productive all morning long. I had five people trailing me in search of the final shamrock.

Purple (grape, I guess?)

I don’t care for it.

Ick, not a fan of either. Grape is slightly less bad I guess. Black cherry is supreme.
