In the last game, when w!pyxxy was hedging off of the main options, he landed on his partner. This time, he landed on me, and I am definitely not his partner. So, while nothing really sells me on pyxxy being town, there are a lot of differences from his prior wolfgame. Granted, this isn't a rreliable indicator for every player; I played two consecutive games with w!neopest and she played pretty differently in both
I like this observation. Im pretty sure I've also seen him vote his wolf partner to distance from them before.

MacDougall seems likely to be a wolf kill. This at least reduces the possibility of a serial killer.
What does your first paragraph mean?
Porscha came from the other thread and was able to make ten posts last EoD. nutella almost certainly won't be able to do that. I guess when nutella died is something we can ask Porscha about when the time comes.

Mac and I (and others) went over it last EoD, and so far nothing has changed to make them look better. If anything, the Mac kill makes them look worse
Uh yeah but the main suspicion on him was because it was presumed he was partnered with Robyn lol
And Robyn flipped town
I understood his reasoning for preferring the Ted yeet over Robyn after I read back through his posts. it was because BOTH Robyn and Rondo had claimed extra votes on them, and Rondo first thought it was as punishment for self-voting but then when evidence suggested otherwise, he just assumed that anyone claiming the extra vote would be town. Imo that's an uninformed perspective.
yeah I always hate being on the main wagon day 1, even if its 100% wolf. You always need a counter wagon. People need to engage brain and not just sleepwalk into kill. thats how wolves hide

I was jumping between the Ted and Robyn wagons to encourage the Ted wagon to stay, lol. I thought those two were the best options and good counters to each other, given how most people strongly advocated for one or the other.

The others were consensus townreads, Dyslexicon wasn't, plus they were a lot less vocal than the others so they definitely stand out in the list. I'm not sure the exact order, but if they were fifth I don't necessarily see wolves making that vote so early unless it was to protect ted or something. But again, I'll look at things more closely in a bit.

I wrote updated thoughts about Rondo a few posts above, if you want my input
Noted. I disagree with robyn partnership being the main thrust of suspicion though, the main suspicion in my eyes is general wolfyness and lack of solving - that he hadn't and still hasn't Done anything in the game to help town beyond fluff and bluster and easy votes. I gave that a pass yesterday but one of my criteria for him was "he's charging at mac so let mac decide" and mac decided wolfy.
Regardless of his rep, Mac doesn't die if ALL his major suspicions are wrong and the four I listed were his suspects.
(Well three and Bereft, but he also scumread Bereft on first look and flipped around when he was scumreading Robyn, who godscumread Bereft, and we now know Robyn was town so.)
TSP also pinged mac's general scumdar, and before the whole mac robyn thing, we were going on bereft, and TSP came in trying to break that up with a gamestate read and a push on Abi which is... in my eyes weak and not good. There is a big part of me wanting to go Bereft -> TSP here.
And then there is Dizzy who is still just not playing the game but never got hard pressure for it except for me and mac, and now mac is dead.
I do not want to go tedxtr today.

robyn could have kept fighting, but didn't, so they get no sympathy from me. Still, what's done is done, and focusing on it won't help us at all. Save your thoughts on that for postgame.

robyn was basically a dead horse, and the extra hidden vote was the cherry on top. Did a wolf need to commit to it to make it happen? Conversely, would a wolf really want to miss out on a lynch with a lot of town on it? Right now, I'd be surprised if all the robyn voters were town, but I'd be equally surprised if all (presumably) three wolves were on robyn

So RDB, Abby, Bereft, pyxxy. Yeah, it doesn't really look like a team of three is in these names at first glance, and I lean town on at least two of them. RDB/Bereft/robyn voter (perhaps Dyslexicon or TSP) seems like the easy solve, but I doubt it's that simple.
Speaking of the ted wagon, were there any beyond Bereft and their interpreters who were really pushing that?

My dreams are vivid. I feel somewhat sickeningly happy over my trust in her, even as I spectacularly failed at keeping her belongings safe. I must do better for her.
I think about my compass, who I suspect I've lost, and the bottle of tabasco. I think about the disco ball. I think about whether I was getting anywhere that evening.
Something hits. I crave more tabasco. I want to pick up the toy sword and wield it. But why?
Re: Severance [Evening Two]
Posted: Fri Nov 17, 2023 10:55 pm
by Bereft
The toy sword raised itself menacingly towards the ducky I had previously pitched. The ducky it had already saber-rattled towards. The ducky that had confessed to the brick that it hated the toy sword because of, and i quote, 2004. To which the toy sword said something very clever, "if you were a good ducky, you'd hate me at least partially because of how I've waved myself around at you, but no, you hate me because of 2004, which is not only stupid, but makes you a bad ducky" And 2004 is indeed stupid, why take issue with the toy sword, when there was a carton of orange juice right there.
And for the tabasco? The disco ball, malevolent as ever, positively screeched at the bottle of tabasco for liking the owner that consumed it regularly. But you know what? Now that her belongings have burst into flames, and we all know that she was always a good person at heart, what does a harm-seeeking bottle of tabasco gain by enlivening its owner's day and crusading against the disco ball? There are other reasons why I like tabasco sauce, but the whole idea of engaging their owner is a fundamental one, one that not only applies to the bottle of tabasco, but the toy sword as well. It applies to the brick and the cigarette too. It applies to the compass.
These are those I feel I should trust.

You know who it doesn't apply to? The disco ball. The ducky. The kewpie doll. The stuffed toy. The carton of orange juice. The metal plate.
The kewpie doll loves to play coy, its been hanging in the wrong crowd at times, but I've already learned my lesson about kewpie dolls. Orange juice provides me with Vitamin C; I'm not going to touch it for now, I don't have much of a reason to. I wanted to trust the comfort object, that's what their whole purpose is after all, but I find that I don't. Not enough. And it gets worse from there. The ducky is defective for reasons that are known; it doesn't squeak, and I find myself getting less charitable to its aggressive cuteness. The disco ball, I won't even talk about how infuriating it is. The metal plate? Its a dull metal plate, what am I even supposed to do with it. It said, and I quote, 702 and 714.
The dream is so vivid that I'm questioning reality, and that's when I wake up.

So, about those hidden votes. We know robyn is town, and RDB and Abby were the other two to receive it. If it was a wolf power, I doubt they'd use it if it would spew the people who received them as town, as that's basically three clears in a phase. Thus, in that scenario, I feel two towns and a wolf receiving it makes the most sense, and all that's assuming a wolf isn't lying anyway, so we'd have one wolf in Abby/RDB. But if it's something from the other thread? Then I'd have no idea what to do about that, and seeing if Porscha knows anything would be our only hope.

This shit again. You know most people who roleplay drop the schtick by D2?

Questions for @Porscha (keeping track of these in a post so we can use our time with them more efficiently):
How did nutella die?
Are the threads out of sync? (e.g. did Night 1 start 24 hours earlier in the other thread?)
Do you know anything about the hidden votes?
If anyone has any more feel free to add them

Starting over with the riddles three stuff.
Ranmilia = brick
pyxxy = toy sword
leetic = ducky
TSP = metal plate
Rondo = tabasco bottle
Robyn = she
tedxtr = disco ball
Wind = cigarette? (presumed because avatar and context)
Abigail = carton of orange juice? (again presumed on avatar/context)
So Bereft now townreads Rondo because Robyn flipped town, also townreads pyxxy, me, wind, "compass" (I previously thought compass was mac, idk now).
Doesn't townread but doesn't want to go after orange juice (abigail) right now.
Scumreads leetic, ted, possibly TSP, and the "stuffed animal/comfort object" and "kewpie doll" which I'm not sure who they are.
That's what I get out of that.

Gira, my love, my one and only.
Hands across the Atlantic Ocean
[VOTE:
Robyn] aubergine
They had a wordy post and they didn’t say hi to me.
This is their vote that they left parked for over half the phase, looking like little more than a joke vote
Dyslexicon wrote: ↑Wed Nov 15, 2023 5:27 pm
My vote right now is whatever. I haven't read the game. I haven't really started playing. We'll see how far I get and when.
Admits their vote is bunk, yet in this same post, they post a more substantive suspicion on Ranmilla and don't vote there instead of staying on the joke vote?
Dyslexicon wrote: ↑Thu Nov 16, 2023 8:25 pm
Alright
Here are some town:
Gira
Wind
Mac
Leetic
Ted
I still haven't read.
This is just magic.
But I think it works.
The closest thing to a contribution they had afterward (green added by me, though take my color as you will). Believers in "salad theory" would say that there's a wolf here if Dyslexicon flips wolf, which would seem to be tedxtr at first glance, then again that's the only townread they really elaborated on. But nothing compares to this post, which they posted while they were voting robyn

leetic is right, we must solve the game as fast as possible, once dyslexicon starts posting nobody will be able to focus on solving, guys and girls and others alike
Town <3
Ok done
But you're still voting robyn? What the hell?

The kewpie doll is extremely spooky. It always move around when I'm not looking. It is however, a benevolent spirit. I have learned my lesson already and I will not unlearn it from attributing negative intentions where there are none. ~ Bereft

This may have been a joke, but even so Dyslexicon's vote on robyn seemed like a joke in the first place. Caught up or no, that's no excuse to have this vote for the entire phase when they supposedly had an actual suspicion, the whole thing feels like distancing to me, although Dyslexicon/tedxtr is also a possibility I guess (though a bit shameless if true). I'll have to look over a couple of the other voters but for now Dyslexicon is the weirdest vote on that wagon.

Stuffed animal = silky anteater = Gira.
And then kewpie doll would be Dizzy by process of elimination.

I'm exiting the elevator again. I'm not exactly ready to push forward in the direction I was heading this morning.
A defective ducky is not necessarily a bad ducky.
Maybe the disco ball is just insecure.
What if I'm just imagining an evil glint in the eye of the stuffed animal?
But the only way is forward, questions cannot be resolved otherwise.

This is getting pretty irritating.
1. By NK.
2. We know this to be true.
3. IDK, my best guess is that its the corresponding outies of whoever received most votes at work, but I certainly don't think Porscha would know.
None of this is that hard to puzzle out.

If one and two are correct, why did nutella exit now instead of at EoD?

Anyway, for the late voters on robyn we have tedxtr who voted for self-pres (fair I guess) and TonyStarkPrime who voted to save tedxtr (but they were in no real danger at that point?) And me I guess but I voted before those posers
