They spent the rest of their money on bait and made everybody vote for you.Made wrote:Did baddie have a vote upgrade that would make the game unwinnable?
llama's super power: Make people trust you by agreeing with them. He got me hard in Harry Potter for that.LizKeen wrote:Good job mafia! I was sure llama was good early on mostly because we thought alike. And I thought made was probably Zola. I'd have never figured it out.
llama's boomerang.Metalmarsh89 wrote:Also, I rolechecked MR on Night 6, but for some reason it failed. Anyone know why?
Ah yes- if Gleeok was lynched, S~V~S and two other civilians would be resurrected as Gleeok's heads. These heads would be sock accounts, and, even though they'd have no Night power and couldn't serve as a guardian anymore, they would add to the civilian voting bloc.S~V~S wrote:My secret power was SO AWESOME~ but I had to be lynched to trigger it. Yeah, I personally am convinced Ninja is bad. She threw away her vote in the first poll where we had a real chance to get a baddie, and lo and behold Elo survived that one. Very very very shady.Metalmarsh89 wrote:I'm definitely voting for llama tomorrow though based on Eloh's read of him.
I doubt that Made is Hyrulian. I'm a bit torn between ninja and Snow Dog from trying to sort out Eloh's thoughts. My own read has been civ on Snow Dog, which would leave ninja as the other option. Thoughts Russti?
I believe you on this, but do you ind finding a quote to support it? It would help my opinion of Made.Metalmarsh89 wrote: I'm pretty sure Eloh had been pushing for a Made lynch since before we (except Made) decided she was bad.

Eloh's vote was worth 3 (she bought the rod and the book), and nijuu's vote was worth 2 (she had a rod only). thellama73 had a 1 the whole time. I did actually look at some of the puzzles and stuff. Son of a bitch. MM89 targeted Snow Dog the Night he died, so he would have learned SD was civilian, by the way.

I kinda agree with you. When I first got the role, I was excited, but as the civvies kept dropping, I realized my role wasn't going to do anything.Russtifinko wrote:I actually came out even on the money-making game, I think! I was kinda salty you guys were gambling my money, though. :P
I spent a LOT of rupees on your Patra. I wwas really torn between it and a Wizzrobe. Looking back, I wish I could get a do-over on that. If anyone had figured out who the baddies and/or I were, they could've stopped all Night kills. Oh well, hindsight is 20/20. I think I had like 60 Overworld and 80 Underworld rupees at the end. But I knew we needed voting power, and all my Overworld minions were dead.

I knew you'd do that the moment I played that game and people kept putting the damned answer counts up. But I couldn't resist a crossword puzzle, let alone that crazy speed one :PRusstifinko wrote: And MM, you helped me a TON this game, so I'm glad the Patra ended up being you. Your suggestion to count rupees worked really really well. I actually found Elo and Ninja through that; the night of the crossword, I was able to count up how many I should've gotten, and when I saw that 15 were missing I knew they were bad.
Epignosis wrote:I created this game to make it harder on the Mafia. I want to point out that if nijuu ever took a vote (or two or three, depending on the Day), she could not kill anybody for free. And if she got lynched, her team would have NO kill at all except what they could buy.
nijuu took not a single vote the entire game. Keep her in mind folks!
Ugh. I lost due to poor gold management. I probably could've managed a Wizzrobe and a Moblin.Epignosis wrote:Russti came this close to upgrading you to Moblin (he didn't know which person he was upgrading) the Day MR got lynched and did not. That's what this game is all about. Your instincts could have been right, and then the Mafia would have been singing a different tune. Can't fault you dude. I know how much you agonized over that decision.Russtifinko wrote:Ugh. I lost due to poor gold management. I actually didn't do that partly because I was still afraid llama was a misguided civ at that point, and I didn't want him turning the lynch in the baddies' favor by mistake. I didn't have enough trust in my team, I guess, which is weird in mafia. The other reason I didn't do it was because I was Skyping my girlfriend when the lynch came down to the wire. Whatcha gonna do?
Thanks. But I blame me. I was totally fooled by Logan. He knew my weakspot is trusting ProgArchive members too much. Should have listened to you guys. And I must apologise to Made. I don't blame you Snowy. If everyone hadn't put their votes on Eloh already, I probably would have joined you, because I was suspicious of MR. The main reason was because I had rolechecked MR the previous night and the action failed. I assumed MR had a shield. I was bewildered when he flipped civ. That told us who all the baddies were at that point, but it was also too late.

Thing is this game I was more active on making cases early in the game and following it up, so when Boogs said I was blendy I was like "what the fuck", he sealed his fate with me for that. However as civ after civ got lynched I lost all trust in anything. I lost my way a bit. Only one thing I really counted on was that Russ was Ganon.
What gave him away for me? He acted like ganon for a start. It was like he was in charge. And when he said to vote for him, that he could "take it", was when I knew.
Rob...the nights of no kills. Was one of them an attempt on me?
I might've accepted your bribes.zeek wrote:Sorry I was killed so early, Epi!Curse of N4 it seems. I was just getting a bit more free time when I was killed as well. I was gearing up for a massive bribe as well.

I was absolutely convinced, until the end of the game, that SVS had been Zola and tried to bribe me to vote for her with a small amount of rupees as a test. I thought I passed with flying colors.
