I'm voting for Epi

Since I know I am not Herman, I think it is a good bet that he is.

Boats, Epig, and Rabbit are my Top 3 to vote for. Boats comment to not vote Epig has me suspicious. I think I'll vote Epig anyway though. I believe he's not Herman but I think he's bad as well. He keeps saying "I am NOT Herman" with great emphasis but he isn't claiming he's good. He's just saying we're wrong about him being Herman.

i don't have a lot of time here, so I'm going to vote DP. He's on both lists of people who can be Herman, but has said virtually nothing about it except for one lone "I know I'm not Herman" post. I feel like he's trying to coast. Best I got with such a quiet day.

But you have? You are on both shortlists. You, Aces and Epig. One of you is Herman.

Epig has defended himself quite a bit. It doesn't make him truthful, but it indicates that he's trying.

Aces is barely here, which makes him hard to read.

but you, knowing you are on the shortlist, are posting, but not really talking about it. That, to me, is more shady than either of the other two.

No, I haven't been. I'm on the shortlist (there's only one list that matters, so saying both is meaningless), yes. But Epignosis is defending himself because people are going after him. I haven't received heat, so I'm not gonna sit here and yell at nothing. And I find it funny how you gingerly avoided suspecting Aces there. :eye: :O

There is literally no conceivable reason otherwise I could think of for someone to defend oneself.
I've accused you of something, and you snake away, hiding behind people going after me. "I haven't received heat."
Hiding. Oh yes. Maybe I don't have anything valuable to say. I am confident you are Herman. That's all I can say.
Come on- got anything better? Less than a hour to vote
Nope. Because I can see what people are expecting me to say is "No. Your list is wrong. The voting records are false and I received invisible votes that prevented me from possibly being Herman. You're all horribly misled." as I said earlier. There is no other conceivable kind of defense. It's like being suspected solely for quietness. Am I to say "No I have not been quiet you crazy person you"? I defend when directly confronted.

Day 8: Into the Fire (Part 1)

It had been decided. DisgruntledPorcupine was most worthy of the fire. "Noooo!" he screamed, as the players grabbed him and forcefully threw him inside the volcano.

"That's the end of that," timmer declared. Suddenly, the volcano erupted a very minor eruption and flying out of the volcano came DisgruntledPorcupine, as good as new. "Sup guys?" DisgruntledPorcupine inquired.

No one has been lynched.

Day 8: Into the Fire (Part 2)

The volcano began to rumble once more and this time the sky turned even more ominous. "I don't have a good feeling about this..." remarked S~V~S. Herman the Hologram appeared out of nowhere, facing all the players. "HELLO! THE NAME'S HERMAN! AND I LOVE VOLCANOES!" He picked up S~V~S and rabbit8, one in each hand, and then forcefully threw them both into the volcano. Both unlucky souls met instant death.

The volcano erupted once again, this time destroying the portal in the process, leaving the players once again back in front of two other portals. The supposed Captain Spectacular's mood was quite different this time. "OK, let's get out of here!" He turned around, however, to find his ship was gone. He was shocked. "Where is my ship?!!?!" After a period of silence, he stated, "We have to find my ship! Perhaps it has been consumed by one of the other two portals!"

S~V~S has been lynched. She was Fred Frith.
rabbit8 has been lynched. He was Ziltoid the Omniscient.

It is now Night 8. You have 24 hours to send in your night PMs and select the next portal.

What makes even less sense is how a friggin' hologram can pick up things. :|

Seriously, here are my observations, for what they are worth:

1. Two players were "lynched," but not by popular vote (as is normally the case). This suggests either major manipulations of the votes, or lynch switching (not even sure if that's a thing). That two players were killed instead of only one, though, is bewildering. My guess, however, is that it has something to do with Portal 1. Any thoughts?

2. rabbit8 has not been lynched before; that means Ziltoid the Omniscient did not find the cup of coffee.

3. Ziltoid the Omniscient can attempt a recruit each night if he is not roleblocked, but Captain Squizloid would absorb any night action against ZtO, meaning, if CS is not dead, ZtO would never have been roleblocked ever, which means, at a 50% rate, there could be as many as four civilian recruits (whether living or dead, I cannot say).

4. S~V~S was set to die in two days, but that (obviously) did not preclude her from being killed off prematurely by some other act.

5. No one has been insanified for quite some time; that means Christian Vander is probably dead.

I am having a cup of coffee. It isn't perfect, but it's mine. :coffee3:

Damn, I hadn't even considered S~V~S's doom could've been two "real" days! I was thinking two Mafia days.

What makes this more puzzling is that someone shared her exact same fate, but it was not foretold.

Also, it feels good to finally be able to talk again. Not sure why Cage would have silenced me though tbh. :/

As for the lynch results, Epig gets the most votes, but DP gets put up for the lynch. However, he doesn't get lynched, and instead SVS and rabbit do instead. What the flying fuck? I'm thinking there has to be either vote manipulation or lynch switches in play. Or possibly both. Idk what else it could be other than avant madness.

And lastly, RIP SVS and BIH rabbit.
