I’d say my PoE would be Nutella / Tim / Oddmerta / Nanook / LC, maybe exactly in that order.
Looks good
I also town lean dya so I don’t know what that should mean for their alignment, I heard people that haven’t played with them tend to scum read them /shrug

I suppose sleeping on it did evolve alittle bit... As Tutuu and Tim have decreased in my suspicion and Hazelnut has increased.
Thus it feels weird that the thread seems to want that.

If nutella is scum what the hell are her buddies doing? Are they just leaving her to twist in the wind when there are viable counterwagons to push? I'm getting cold feet.
Because she's your teammate?

You shouldn’t imo.
If you couldn’t find wolves early it means that they let town do their thing and didn’t want to interfere much, why would they be doing that right now?

Hasn't evolved via reading since I logged off yesterday, but here's my list after sleeping on it:
Feel good about Mac, Hally, and Ted
Feel bad about Tim, Alison, tutuu, Nook and Hazelnut.
I don't recall why I felt that way about Tim, but something was off.
Nook and Ali were in a strange bucket of (maybe TMI) from them, the counter argument being "TMI may not exist in this game as scum may be hunting the rogues."
Tutuu felt off and angling was weird.
I don't remember what red flagged me on Tim.
Hazelnut felt detached.
This is a post perfectly structured for someone who rand mafia.

Theory towards alison :
If nutella is a wolf, then the wolves aren’t doing anything because they have been busy doing their own thing, solving on their island or being narrowed down on a person at a time.
Or they have said nothing about her.
Or they just don’t have other options to look to.
Don’t dive in wifom until you get the flip. Flip wolves and then discover what a specific flip means.

Don't be absurd. If I wanted to dismantle the nutella wagon, I could have. I'm on it and I gave some very detailed analysis of why it was the correct choice. I'm just pointing out something that makes me uncomfortable, not saying we should all switch to JPIC.

okay i caught up. so like, i’m really still having a hard time caring about this game. i think because alison and mac are doing all the work. they’re lock town to me and i trust that their combined reads are good and i mindmeld on a lot of them. so i’m happy with them leading and calling the shots here. and i don’t feel much need to assert myself for as long as that continues to be true
i’m happy nut has a wagon. i don’t think she’s town. the way she’s making reads and responding to the suspicion on her is very off from her town game. i really have no reservations yeeting her today and her wagon looks clean as hell to me. so we should just yeet her. sorry, nut
i don’t get why spf is being sr. i mean, she could be scum? i’m sure her scum game is as good as tutuu says it is. but i don’t see anything scummy from spf at all. i think she’s been pretty towny. and she’s not a player i’m ever going to yeet D1 because when the player list is smaller and she has more content to work with, her insight will be invaluable and i think she’ll clear herself more definitively. so i have zero interest in going there today
jpic is like... i don’t. i don’t really care about sorting him. gth i say town because he’s really letting his teammates down here if scum and i do think scum probably makes some effort here. but jpic isn’t end gaming. he’s either getting yeeted or vig’d or something at some point if he continues to play this way so i think he just self-resolves
i don’t wanna yeet ted today. i don’t know why. i don’t know how to read him. his scum range is really good ime. but he’s actually doing stuff that seems towny so he can stay
i don’t want to yeet jules today either. if what mac is saying about her is true, he’s correct that she isn’t the kind of player you yeet D1. players who don’t bus and can clear themselves off scum flips are self-resolving. and i have no issues with jules’ posts so far. no reason to jump the gun there

the only ppl who could be scum on nut are maybe like colin or wilgy? they’re the only two i don’t hard hard hard tr on the wagon. but outside of them i’m pretty sure that’s six town. no reason not to kill that
like, what are scum supposed to do if nut is their teammate and the towniest players itt who all lock town read each other collectively decided to kill her? how can they fight that? i don’t think scum has the thread control rn to do anything about it or try to save nut so it doesn’t worry me

@people who still scumread Hally: I don't think wolf Hally comes into the thread and just goes "yep, Alison and Mac have it handled. I'll just sheep everything they say and do." I think they'd feel obligated to try to use their position in the towncore to strongarm people, push narratives and agendas, and generally try to power wolf. It is difficult for me to see Hally getting into a position of being consensus townread and then just doing nothing with it if they were a wolf. It is also difficult for me to see wolf Hally letting power town call all the shots.
Possibly objections to this argument:
a) Maybe Hally wants to quietly kill you at night and take over!
- Not in this threadstate. I'm certain me and Mac will eat lead soon, but when we do, tutuu and ted will step up, and if/when they die, juliets and Master Radishes will. There are too many cleared townies to kill all of them. If Hally is wolf, they have to take control, and they've shown no inclination to do this at any point in time.
b) Maybe Hally is fine with letting you do whatever you want because they're convinced you'll lead town down the wrong path!
I'd like to think they have enough respect for me, Mac and tutuu's town play to at least feel obligated to guard against the possibility that we won't find the solve with such a strong towncore.

ftr this is the entirely correct reading of my play
this is not how i play as scum. as scum i look to dominate the thread and push my own agenda. and i’m more than capable of doing that as scum if i want. i top post every game as scum and can have my way easily. (anyone using g8 as the metric for my scum game should probably stop because that game was not even a good scum game from me because of the circumstances and i will eat you for lunch if i ever rand scum and you think that’s the extent of my range. just saying

)
there is no world where i, as scum, see super lock town alison and super lock town mac dominating the thread and dictating eliminations and don’t actually try to push back at all or at least establish my own thread control for when i nk them. the only time you will ever see me willingly take on a support role like this is when i’m town and trust the town leaders. see sf3 for a good example of that
so yeah, you could say this is wifom but really, what alison is saying here is the best reason to tr me this game

Secretly I think Sprit may be reading this game better than anyone else.
Or maybe that's not right. But I do think we've reached a critical mass of town clears for such a large game. Red lights are flashing. A breach has occurred in the outer perimeter. The wolves are in.
I guess what I'm saying is I'm not convinced the happy bouncy totes adorbs crew of Ali-Hally-Tutuu-friend is entirely clean, or maybe rather that the Just-ted-yos getting pushed are anything but independent townies getting boxed out into mischop territory, but also it's too early to worry about such things and I really just want to put these words on record for future cred.
I think I'm supposed to be good at this game but sometimes I wonder who decided that.
i like this post a lot from radishes
i guess i could read it as “scum trying to subvert the town core” but it doesn’t feel that way to me
it feels like a towny sentiment, like more town cautioning ppl as opposed to scum being nefarious. admittedly though, i’m having trouble putting into words exactly why i read it that way as opposed to the scummy interpretation, but maybe someone else who’s better at words can explain

I actually commented on this exact post before and said why I found it townie. The way I'd frame it is like this: Radishes is skeptical about how easy the game is, which is a townie attitude. But he's using that attitude to help town be less complacent, and not to undermine the towncore or fracture the trust between players who've found each other.
That's town.

yea! this is a good way to put it! like i feel if he was scum he’d try to subvert things more directly by undermining trust in the town clears or trying to pit ppl against each other but here it’s more of a general word of caution. like he’s okay with it and is letting it happen but he just wants us to keep on our toes
ty for being good at words

Oh, and on that post - Master Radishes, various members of the towncore have found their way to townreading or at least giving a D1 pass to each person in that post you called out as "probably independent townies getting boxed into mischop territory". I hope that reassures you that we're still actively re-evaluating and sorting people, and not just coasting along in a big circlejerk and trampling over everyone else.

oh EoD is today? i should probably be able to be here but it’s during my work shift so my attention will probably be divided
also once it gets busy at work i won’t be able to keep up with this anymore and will probably be behind at EoD. so rip. but i should be able to check in
As usual I can't guarantee anything wrt EoDs because I'm notorious for having a very bad time zone to be around at EoDs. If I can I'll be there, but I might not be able to.

also i like how radishes there is advising us not to write off sprit, jpic and ted just because they appear out of the town core or are going against the grain. that’s a super towny mindset. if radishes is scum and those players are town, he doesn’t need to try to prop them up like that. and it doesn’t feel like scum!radishes defending teammates either. i think he’d be more direct if that was his goal. it really just reads like a super towny sentiment

ok so I saw a few questions while catching up this morning that i wanted to respond to
Poison Chan yes, I approach mashes the same way as regular games. The biggest difference is that I'm more willing to just shoot lhf/slankers in mashes during ITAs
tutuu about herm - I don't remember which read they were talking about but their reasoning was almost certainly villaging. I'll see if I can find it for you

Link me.
Nanook didn't respond or humor this post.
His other posts also doesn't strike me as super town or super scummy.
In conclusion.... He's 60% likely to be scum.
It's a good start!
it was this one tutuu
I really think those reasons aren't the reasons a wolf would come up with for a miselimination
