Pajama shorts and a short sleeve pajama shirt.

When you look back on your college days, what's one thing you wish you had done differently? (I guess you have to be out of college to answer this but oh well.)

There are classes I wished I didn't take and several I wish I did take, but it's hard to avoid missing out on cool stuff because so many classes sounded so cool. Also, relationship drama freshman year lol -- ultimately it resulted in my current relationship which is a great outcome, but I do really wish I had gone about it differently at the time.

What is the household object you have the most sentimental attachment to/would be upset if it got broken or lost?

There is very little in my house that holds sentimental value. The first thing that comes to mind is a framed cross-stitch bedtime prayer that hung in my nursery as a baby, three of my cousins’ nursery rooms, and both of my daughters’ rooms. I want to pass it down to grandkids someday.

Tough call when I hate so many. Right now I am feeling 'Alchemy' with Tom Kavanaugh and Sarah Chalke. It's the worst sort of romantic comedy, and I tend to be kinder to that genre than many.

What's the least satisfying meal you've had while under quarantine?

We haven’t had a bad meal yet. I’m content with sandwiches for lunch, and I don’t complain about cereal for breakfast. If I had to pick the weakest link for our dinners so far, it would be Hamburger Helper Beef Stroganoff. It’s tasty, but I know it’s not healthy.

Best album you’ve listened to during quarantine so far?

3.5. I reread the LOTR trilogy, and am halfway through the first ASOIAF book since I want to be caught up again since I last read them years ago, and maybe hopefully GRRM is writing the next one now.

Productive for work: developed a system for passing pdf documents back and forth for approvals to keep A/P functioning as well as building a few spreadsheets to monitor check runs and payment volumes so we can keep an eye on our school district’s general fund balance from afar.

Productive at home: assembled an 8-drawer organizer for my wife so she can start sorting her scrapbook piles by year.

What is your fitness routine now that the gyms are mostly closed? Do you exercise in the morning, afternoon, or evening?

I have never been a gym person, perhaps it is not like this everywhere, but around here, they mostly seem to be about picking people up and mocking people less fit than they are. Long Island IS a pretty vapid place. I have the same routine, stretches and 45 minutes dog walk in the AM, I am very active during the work day, and dog walk again in the evening.

Do you like where you live; not so much the home, but the town, or the region?

I like the region well enough, but my specific location is kinda meh. I’m on campus and surrounded by businesses and suburbs. I prefer being close to woods. But an empty college town is a good place to be quarantined, at least. Streets are empty and stores are well stocked.

In February I won a potted plant from a raffle at a volunteer appreciation party at the place I volunteer(ed before The Times). It's a spathiphyllum or "peace lily" and it was beautiful when I got it but I'm bad with plants and it got a little sad-looking but looks like it's doing better now out on the balcony.

In 2003 I went to see the LotR trilogy presentation on opening day of The Return of the King. Everyone who was part of the trilogy screening event received a memento- a resin/plastic display with a frame from each of the three films inside it. Many of them hit eBay the next day, but I have held on to mine. That was one of the greatest theater-going experiences of my life.
