And because Nutella is a lost wolf, she doesn't know if the note came from town or scum, so I think she outs what the note says either way if this is what's happening.

I think Quin thinks I'm the lost wolf, but that nutella is the true mafia.

In the scenario I'm thinking about, the lost wolf is more likely to have the bulletproof vest, not the main mafia, because the main mafia would be the one(s) making the night kills. With her dayvig ability and her potential to kill mafia, I think she'd be a HUGE target for mafia last night. Thus, it makes more sense that she's the lost wolf with a bulletproof vest. The icing on the top is that she received a message, just like Sloonei did when he died, which makes me think notes get sent and revealed by those who get attacked by the main mafia.

So, here's what I get from this:

Nutella is a lost wolf
TSP is most likely town, if not mechanically locked town
Quin is subjectively locked town for me because they protected TSP when everybody seemed to be turning against him, including me

This is where my theory breaks down, because as far as I can tell, no note was revealed. I'll check again though to be sure.

It makes sense except for the primary condition it's based on, that there's a second bulletproof in the game that belongs to the LW. The only evidence we have for that to be true is anecdotal evidence from a previous game.

I won't rule it out, I just don't think that evidence stacks up as well as the evidence we have in this game.

TL believes nutella is lost wolf and that lost wolf will only gain a kill when/if they become the last scum standing

so why does TL insist on RB nutella last night "in case she has a night kill" if he doesn't think shes the last scum standing (hasn't contested the idea of 4 scum, meaning 2 are currently alive)

What if the lost wolf has a bullet proof vest (or an infinite number of them) and the mafia attacked them last night? In a game I played a couple years, I was a lost wolf with an infinite number of vests, and this is how the mafia eventually found me.

In this case, the lost wolf doesn't have to be TSP. Like, who do you guys think would have been the most likely to be attacked last night?

I'm asking because nobody has claimed being a protector. Rather, everyone has claimed or is clearly some other ability with the exception of Alison, but she's countering your suggestion.

Based on this, I don't see anyone being a possible protector.

I mean unless it's exactly Quin and he can self-protect (as he seemed to go along with an assumption he was targeted) (which I find weird as he was a leading wagon yesterday but I need more clarity on TSP's claim as well)

I additionally have one shot bulletproof but don't get infromed if I've been shot, which in the absence of other possibilities is what I'm assuming happened.
I wrote a big strategy guide for what to do after quin got locked up and we were in pseudo F5 but this also appears to not be necessary.

This is like the one story that makes TSP look extremely town.

So where do we go from here....

I gave the short version already. Basically, what would happen is the following: we enter a day with presumably 5 alive. There was a block, so whoever was blocked is clear. If Quin is scum, consider: we have five in thread, basically with 2 clears or essential clears at worst. We chop one non clear, block another, we have 2/3 odds of hitting the wolf. If Quin is town, same thing.
Now let’s assume that we enter the thread with 6. This gives information but it’s kinda weak. 1: I was shot, 2: block worked, 3: Quin had the kill. But I’ve removed Quin, so we sleep that night, I remove someone else, we block another non-clear, and either there are no kills or else we have auto. If there are no kills two nights in a row at that point we probably? can logic our way through the game.

Why the heck are the wolves helping town

well I doubt that the wolves are helping town consciously. my current ideas are:

1) it's not intentional - giving town scraps of info is a side effect of some other ability they're using and is a downside to balance it. problem with this theory is that giving town info is a pretty big downside so the ability must be seriously powerful, yet we've seen nothing that helps scum to that extent.

2) the wolves are writing the notes themselves and putting misleading info into the notes.

3) some hidden mechanic is giving us the notes - there's nothing that says the events that happen this game have to be directly triggered by a player. many games have background mechanics and it wouldn't be completely nonsensical for a game like this to be "you have a bunch of redactions and mystery effects in your role PMs, but you get scraps of info to fill in the blanks a little better as time goes by"
