I think she's trying to form a town core, basically. Also, she called out to me, and that was towny for her. She doesn't want me here as scum, and I don't think she has a reason to pretend to. This may not be very convincing.

What's the story here?

A recent game where we had an oracle role so unnight killable civ with cop like powers.

Lucy claimed day 1 which made her 100% town and tried to lead town and I ignored her directions the entire game since she didn’t have any info and I thought she was wrong.

Town kinda got our collective ass kicked, buuuuuut it wasn’t my fault (it was like10% my fault)

The theory is basically that mafia partners are more conscious of how they look in relation to one another. As such, they might be more hesitant to engage in casual chatter like this early in a game. So when two players freely and spontaneously engage in a silly little side conversation, it can be taken as an indication that they do not have those concerns about perception against them.

This is not a rock solid tell, nor am I saying that I agree or disagree with pyxxy's read of sig and sabiplz. But I can see where the thought comes from, and it is a read I am willing to acknowledge at this stage of the game (even if I'm projecting my own interpretation onto it).

All of Golden, Nut and SVS, who seems to know Kate pretty well, are town reading Kate pretty hard. Golden very much so. It just stands to reason that Kate is town, either being TMI-ed or just read correctly. Do you disagree? This is regardless of Kate's posts, which also aren't wolfy imo.
