I also want to break down the roles in a bit, since I realize I might be an idiot to attempt to read into particular secret roles if I don't have a jumping off point

I was honestly planning on voting G-Man tomorrow, but to be fair G-Man is more likely Moloch than BF. I'mm take more of a look at Cookie's posts/votes and Scotty's arguments against her, and if I'm convinced, I might vote her tomorrow.

BF needs to die, and he needs to die soon. If we let him survive till final 3, he may silence one of the civs and force a 50-50.

My biggest fear right now is long long we are taking to find Moloch.

In terms of number of players, we aren't THAT bad. We have 3 days to find 2 mafiosos, and if we catch BF tomorrow, we are still in a fairly confortable position.

But then there's this Last Man Standing role who hasn't done anything for 7 nights and has remained hidden all the time.

That can't be good. I feel like Moloch might be pretty close to doing whatever he's trying to do.

The r's mean that player is on Rorschach's list. There should also be on next to my name, Russ, and Ricochet after the last two days, leaving only Made and MM off his list.

Here's an updated list of characters that may or may not be alive still:

Bernard: Some seem to think he is still alive due to the Night message from Dr. Manhattan. Some think Dr. Manhattan wrote it.
Derf: Who else would be a silencer of two people? Some think either MP or MM were faking their silent treatments, since only one person seemed silenced Day 4-5. I would add that perhaps both had silenced the same person both days, or they just forgot to send in a PM.
Dr. Long: Could be dead or alive. No idea.
Jenny Slater: Could be dead or alive. No idea.
Det. Bourquin: Could be dead or alive, though MP being his partner gave an indication that they apparently were not in sync. Could be dead, which would also explain MP's blatant tirade against Elo in Day 5.
Rorschach: Seemingly dead, or else he is playing his cards very close to his chest. Maybe Dr. Long removed just enough names from his list that Rorschach can just coast.
The Comedian: Could have been NK'd at this point. But could go either way. Used up their one shot on me Night 1.
Dr. Manhattan: Seems most likely to be alive, since he had a hand in the last night's message.

Considering that Ozy is a Watchman, a player who must win alongside the civilians, I can't imagine his win condition would be detrimental to the civilians.

The Comedian is a huge asshole. It's hard to hate anyone in the story more than him, including Ozymandias. But he dies as soon as the comic starts, which fits his wincon in this game.

Yeah all these Watchmen seem like assholes in the stories. Self-serving, egotistical jabberwokkies.

But I like that the superheroes have depth. Makes for a juicier story I suppose.

I think I'll rent Watchmen tonight since I haven't seen it.

Interesting. Anything in particular change your thinking to Cookie? Only LoRab was expressing a bit of beef about her yesterday, so something must have changed you, or else you really have no allegiance or read either way and would just attempt to be tie breaker.

Scotty, glad you are back in commission. You seem really certain about Cookie. I know I've been defending her hard all game long, but you're right that she's not entirely new. I'm willing to at least consider what you have to say about her.

But now that the game is even tighter, and some suspicious people are gone, I'm balls to the wall with Cookie, and I appreciate that you're ready to give my argument the time of day.

Nothing about Cookie actually. I've just changed my mind about LoRab from before. I guess it looks like hindsight to some, but my early suspicion of her was gone.

I actually have/had heat stroke last night (there is a severe heat warning in Ontario) so I am so sleepy and tired and ugh. I feel like crap.

Anyway, Scotty, I think, seems most town-like. Although he does suspect me, and for good reasons, he is entirely wrong about me. I'm not playing the newbie card. I know mostly what I'm doing at this point. It was challenging at first because of verbal explosions from certain players (not gonna say any names or point any fingers cough*mp*cough *points to the sock*). But I am comfortable with my reads and opinions on people. I'm planning on doing another short read through of players and posts about them and see who I suspect the most. I'm on my phone and going back to sleep now though

In all seriousness though, where I live we get both the summer heat and the winter cold. I always laugh at the southern states who freak out over half an inch of snow and can't handle anything below 45 degrees.

When I was in high school there was an exchange student from Brazil in a few of my classes and he complained from October to early May about the temperature. Winter was the worst though. He was borderline indignant that our climate saw temperatures below freezing. He also thought he was God's gift to soccer just because he was from Brazil. It was nice putting him in his place a few times during gym class.

When I was a kid it would snow every winter. Not so much anymore (but the last two winters have been doozies). The blizzard of 1993 was amazing- we had four feet of snow and built a giant snow cave in the front yard. There was so much snow that people had to push and shovel it off their roofs to prevent roof collapses. We lived in a ranch home, so my dad and uncle could safely jump off the roof into the snow in the front yard when they were done.

The blizzard of 1996 was fierce too. Not quite as much snow during the 3-day blizzard but we got pelted almost all January long with ice and snow. It built up so much that this happened:


It had been a pedestrian bridge since Hurricane Agnes and they still haven't replaced the missing spans.
