You could like... quote Sloonei's posts and explain why you think they come from a mafia mindset?

Nah, I'm messing with ya. You hate reading people, don't you? You want to play this game like an objective logic puzzle.

Which is fine, really. Here at the Syndicate we are proud of welcoming all playstyles no matter how different they are. You do you.

But I think you'll have a hard time getting other people to subscribe to your strictly logical way of playing. Most of us really enjoy interaction-based gameplay. Talking with people, getting a feel of them, using your instincts to vote. That kind of stuff.

Like, I think I figured out why you were basically a clown in the first two days. You only accept using hard logic to scumhunt, but there was no data to logic with at the start of the game. So you just kept posting jokes since you don't like to read people. Meanwhile the rest of us played normally and did our interaction-based scumhunting. Now you want to use hard logic and that's causing you to clash with people.

The fact I can understand your way of thinking so well.makes me confident that you are town, tbh.

I am reading people, I’m just not doing it the very narrow and low-accuracy way you’d like me to.

When I’m right and you’re wrong in postgame I expect an apology for the obnoxious condescension oozing our of your posts. It’s annoying.

Not actually true! Hard logic is just a piece, on its own it’s as garbage as 99% of gut reads. It’s the only piece I’m that interested in explaining for various reasons, but it’s absolutely not true to say it’s the only thing I’m considering when reading the game.

I mean if you want to have a good faith discussion about mafia theory we can definitely do that, but your treatment of me so far reeks of condescension and it’s not what I want to spend more time on. I’m only responding to it now because it’s 6am and I decided not to put game relevant thoughts into thread at night.

You should probably not be such a dick to people new to your site, idk how you expect to retain new players. Or maybe you want to just have a big circle jerk about how good your gut reads are and how awesome you are at bussing, idk.

I don't want to have a discussion about mafia theory and as I said, I don't really mind the way you play.

I was just hoping I could get you to stop yelling at people for not doing what you think they should do.

Whatever, after yesterday's argument I don't really wanna have another long one with you.

I’m going to pretend that saying he’s only a wolf if Sloonei is also a wolf and refusing to vote for him 100% counts as “correctly townreading Colin” without going back to see how many of those buzzer shot votes were alignment indicative. I swear, the man had the last post with a near naked vote for half of Inception.

At least Long Con is a tricky player with a hard to pin down meta. I don’t know why we lynched Colin.

I specifically don’t know why Speedchuck lynched Colin.

Sloonei self preservation. Same for LC and I wasn’t paying too much attention to him tbh (and not cause we’re wolves this time). DDL probably had a reason. He’s been very open with his thought process which is part of why I townread him so much. Nanook was on the Sloonei or Colin kick and voting Sloonei. Idk if he read my post.

Speedchuck read my post. He called it spicy and voted Sloonei but then switched to Colin and I don’t get it.

So I guess it’s not a mystery except 3 players I townread not listening to me. :disappoint:

No. Sloonei did not vote Colin for self-preservation. Sloonei was at four votes and I was at five. Sloonei switched to Colin so that he could lynch a Civ, and then have Long Con lined up for tomorrow.

Now you are trying to handwave Sloonei's actions away with three little words that are patently, blatantly, false.

Ok sorry.

I don't admit that my assumptions ARE flawed, just that they might be flawed and I don't know everything. The whole point of this game is attempting to figure out what you and the rest of the players are thinking and I don't know if I will be right or wrong in the end.

Just clarifying. But seriously, let's stop trying to attack each other and just be civil, please.
