so when creature's alignment was taken, that means that they basically switched alignments which is why creature flipped colin's initial role and died (so 3 initial 3p -> 2 initial 3p)

that doesn't change the amount of wolves or town

During day 1 you must submit the name of a player. That player will die at the end of day 1 and you will take their role and their alignment

But the point is that Colin is now a placeholder for whatever alignment creature was, because that role DIDN'T DIE
So all that resulted in, from Creature's death, was that a 3p role is gone. No town or scum role died, because Colin is alive.

What are you suggesting happened d1 with Creature

Because my understanding of what happened is:
- Someone kills a player d1 and takes their role and alignment
- Creature died flipping this info

So...
My take away isn't that Creature and Colin had the same role.

its that Creature has had his role and alignment taken by Colin, swapping with him. So we have seen Colins original flip and don't know creatures

Cause I ISO'd you on N1 and really did not find anything to convince me you're town, and instead I found inconsistent reads and no explanations. And yeah, I remember you gave reads with no explanation in a previous game where you were town, but it's also the world's easiest trick to hide behind as scum if that's how you play as town.

The only reasonable answer I could come up with was that Creature claimed self-resolving and Colin took him at face value and naively assumed that it would somehow alignment-clear him.

(The much dumber answer I could come up with was that Colin didn't realize his alignment would change, but I'd like to think he understood his role card.)
