hi do you exist
what is your opinion on literally anything? I think I particularly want perspectives on MacDougall, whose play I initially read as overly abrasive and distracting, but I'm now nodding my head along to everything they're saying. What do you think of them and their opinions?
While I appreciate any prod of the lowest post count to get them moving, this strikes me as the token "freebie post". When you're not sure what else to say, poke the lurker.
This post does not pass the adverb test.

Are you around? What are your reads right now? Top lynch candidates? I see you're also on Robot.
i'm semi-around but not entirely. i've been on Robot for a while now; the points that i made in my reads posts about Robot are ones that still stand. unlike you/Alien/Tsaiah(?), i don't have any meta on robot, so i can't offer anything of value there, but i still really dislike them saying that they like kylemii and then saying that they don't mind the wagon. i just cannot imagine that sort of behavior/thought coming from a townie; when i form a read (even a minor/light one) on somebody, i don't then want to hop onto their wagon just because a few other people are.
i know that they said that they didn't see any compelling reason to do so, but the eagerness to the possibility of joining that wagon rubs me the wrong way entirely.
Noted thanks aby!
Not sure why I thought you might have meta lol.
Otherwise yeah that’s the part that bothered me the most too but now that I’m wondering more about it it’s like sooo transparent for a scum strategy?
it's only too transparent if Robot remembered that they had said that about kylemii, though.
Yeah that’s a good point
Nice work scully

Something I associate with a civilian sprityo is a willingness to stick his finger of suspicion right in the face of any highly active player, unconcerned about the repercussions. Indeed, I think sig does the same thing, and it's something that contributes to their being wrongly suspected in many games.
I'm not seeing that now, however. sprityo has barely dipped his toes into the water even in the posts that he has made.
If you see my recent post on the subject of sprityo you will see the exact inverse of what you say you expect from civ sprityo.

I said I dont like going against Mac, and he knows this, because he is a menace to deal with, reference this entire game thus far. I don’t hold myself to a high regard, I think mac is an exceptionally better player than me. And to top it off I restated that I wouldn’t say outright “mac is scum,” that it was a joke

Guys seriously I love you all but let’s all try to use spoilers when we can
Going through quote walls on phone is literal hell
Oh man how bad for you to have to wade through a bunch of very long posts. Man I can't imagine how that would feel. Just to have all these posts you have to read. Can't even wrap my head around it.
M Plus 7 is it possible to make a game thread that has a character limit on post count? I think a Mafia game with like a 100 character post limit per post and like a 5 minutes between posts rule would be very funny.
This should be green but I’m lazy we actually had a game like this sort of called Omertà Mafia that’s epi also hosted and you could only post a handful of times
We definitely could try games like that for sure
Might be fun and probably good for people like me LOL
Let's do dis

Not sure why I thought you might have meta lol.
Otherwise yeah that’s the part that bothered me the most too but now that I’m wondering more about it it’s like sooo transparent for a scum strategy?
it's only too transparent if Robot remembered that they had said that about kylemii, though.
I don't think robots' comments about me represented a natural progression of reads, I think the initial "I like kyle" wasn't a serious read as much as a tone read, later on in the same post she jokingly said it was because of me being a robot from the future, which is still real and I hope none of you forgot about that. It's possible she forgot about making that comment.
the later post isn't weird because of contradiction but because it represents a willingness to "just go with whatever"

@sprityo do you think that making specific/visible attempts to improve thread health is alignment-dependent rather than player-dependent? lol.
Alignment dependent. Visible effort would be seen, or st least I hope it would be seen if it was player dependent
in my experience there are usually a few specific players in the thread who make visible attempts to improve thread health or boost the morale of other players (MP7 does it on large amounts of speed, i care about thread health but am not quite as visible about it, Tsaiah is also on speed but is more subtle about it, i know players who don't touch the topic at all).
you've played w/ Mac before right? do you see those attempts from him as town?
In memory, I see him as different than when we played together in Retrocasuslty
sorry, let me clarify. do you see Mac making obvious attempts to improve thread health/morale as town in other games that you've played with him?
I have done that in this game, several times. Arguably more so than anyone except Jay.
In this game I have:
Made enough scummy looking posts to get lynched for it
Made enough civvie looking posts to never get lynched
Tone read good
Tone read bad
It's all part of my grand plan to not get mislynched or night killed early on like I did in Firefly.

@Marmot
hi do you exist
what is your opinion on literally anything? I think I particularly want perspectives on MacDougall, whose play I initially read as overly abrasive and distracting, but I'm now nodding my head along to everything they're saying. What do you think of them and their opinions?
I'll give Robot a vote.
This is a very wishy-washy post. Additionally, Robot is focusing a lot of attention on Macdougall, despite admitting here that he agrees with Mac.
That's my opinion, have it.

Less to the extent that he thrusts his own reads out regardless of what other people think. My whole issue is I wasn’t seeing much of anything I would expect from Mac when I made that iso. Perhaps now that he’s put out 115 More posts, things changes. It’s an evolving game

Sprityo's reactions to my wall post in Retrocausality were much tamer and more measured than here. That's worth noting.

that's fair, i forgot about them making the comments about you being a robot (potentially because it's just such an obvious truth that i didn't factor it into my read). it could've been a joke read in that case
i still don't like it but cross out my issue with the contradiction
