This is why I don't think we should lynch rabbit.

But voting him now because you can't see the usefulness of something that has been advertized as having a hidden goal is moronic. You don't lynch someone to prevent mafia from killing them, that's almost as bad as the idea that a civ has to resign themselves to get lynched.

If Epi is a wagon I will make whatever vote is necessary to prevent him from being lynched. Because right now my curiosity wants me to know how this exercise ends.
Epi's gambit just feels like unnecessary risk to me. Why are you so adamant on continuing with it? Just because you are curious?
Risk?

What does it risk?
Throwing away a really powerful ability on day 1 when we do not have any conclusive reads.
@Iron_Dwarf please explain why a lynch switch is such a powerful civ ability
If you have obtained good information about the alignments of different players you can prevent a misguided bandwagon forming on an innocent player.

Kenway doesn't manipulatively lie just to win. He's incapable of it. If he's scum and you ask him if he's town, sure, he'll say he's town (unlike Glorf), but he won't lie about game mechanics, and being confused about some things that BTSC would for sure have cleared up, the same way Long Con would for example.

If info is out in the open you don't need a lynch redirect. Just vote for the person or something.

A lynch redirect is the equivallent of a vig, with the addition that is stops another lynch from happening. A vig is usually an uninformed role that needs to make risky calls. Not a really powerful role.

A lynch redirector on town tends to be more annoying than powerful.

Don't think it means much. I've seen enough cases of mafia players bailing out on situations they should be ashamed for in all the games i've played/hosted.

There are only three things that are limitless: the universe, human's stupidity, and the lack of shame of people who go inactive in mafia games.

Gotcha. I'll reiterate my point in this game.

Situation: rabbit8 is mafia. That means that either he is the mafia don and he took the time to draft together 4 other players to his team, or that he was drafted by another player to said team. I doubt he would bail in the first of the above two situations, because he was already invested in the game. In the second situation, someone else picked him. I assert that a player that would recruit him is someone who knows him or has played with him. Again, there is an inherent link of investment.

Yes it's possible that if he is mafia, that he was drafted to a team of players he doesn't know or care about. I find that less likely.

I believe that a lone civilian is more likely to not care about a game and bail in a situation that would directly hurt their team then someone in the above situation I described.

Like I said, won't be the 10th time civ Epi refuses to do perfectly reasonable tasks because he's stubborn as fuck.
I answered the question. He isn't satisfied with my answer.

Kylemii asked me to make up an opinion on nutella. I don't even know where to begin with that.

YUCK.

Gross.

"Disgusting."

etc.

For starters, you vote for MY second suspect. For finals, why not lap or Wilgy as per your rainbow? Nope. Fake. Not buying it.
oh wait.... shit. I think I fucked up and my vote doesn't count. I thought someone had voted for Quin before that. My passive is I can't put the first vote on someone. Uhh what's the tally
DDL voted for him after you. Do you want to keep your vote on Quin?
I think so but since mine was first it doesn't count rn so I'll have to switch it.

UNVOTE QUIN

VOTE RABBIT8

UNVOTE RABBIT8

[VOTE: quin] aubergine

I hope that works lmao I'm an idiot

Traditionally you’d start with her posts.

You're playing a game of mafia.

Is it that strange to have an opinion about another player? Especially one with the number of posts and votes that nutella has?

Does anybody pestering Epi about not giving a read on nutella think doing so will actually prompt him to provide one? This question applies whether you think he's town or mafia.
