I can't remember if I did or not. I am leaning towards no.

At the time, I thought you felt so strongly about JJJ because you had info on him, and I did not think it was civilian-minded info. Honestly, given the lynch result, I'm not sure my feelings have changed much yet.

That being said, that's also the same reason MM is still my primary suspect.

I missed it completely. I am going to start from scratch on the both of you tonight!

By the looks of it, Alfothad may have been triggered to begin killing either Night 2 (just because of the mass role block) or Night 3. Motherfucker=Redeemer could very well have been responsible given role descriptions. If that's you, I'd look back at those you checked for both your BTSC connections and your living checks before Night 3.

Thank you! It was driving me crazy that people were talking about the SK without talking about what could have triggered the SK. Any other thoughts on this from anyone?

Although, it seems as though Rockets Fall on Rocket Falls probably triggered the mass block.

Night 1, Vompatti was killed by an unknown cause. The most likely cause (based on Sleep making the most recent kill) is that he was Moya and the kill rebounded. It is also possible another player has an ability to "borrow" a power from another player, and Vompatti's kill on himself.

Night 3, it appears that more players were cursed than Night 1. Again, this points to the potential that somebody out there can "borrow" a power. This is compounded by the fact that LoRab's curse was a oft-used one on the Syndicate (run your text through an insanifier), so the power-borrower didn't get to choose it (Rico chose a simple one).

Why wouldn't the mafia have that ability? On a mafia of only 3 there is often a survives the first attempt on one's life kind of thing on one of the roles.

I also suggested that there is a power-borrower a bit before that, and that might be connected to all of this. As in, someone borrowed the insanifier's ability, and so know's who that person is.

A lot of powers in play and not a lot of information to go off of though, so who knows.

MM, can you bluntly summarize your case against BWT?

BWT seemed far too eager to play a big part in this EoD without committing one way or the other (another reason I'm starting to think that trice is civ).

This is by far the most compelling thing you've said all game. I'm mulling over it.

Addendum: It's one thing to push other players. It's another thing to do it at the expense of another player being lynched (especially after we've lynched 3 civilians straight). BWT was doing a fine job interacting with players at EoD, but with little regard to the lynch result.

I'm tired of lynching civilians. Between this game and Lost Again, I'm feeling emotionally taxed.

I'm not sure what to think of her. GTH I'd lean slight mafia. What do you think of her?

If the curser role is civilian, I'd go with slight civilian. Otherwise, slight mafia. She made 3 posts in her catchup. Her first one was a vote and a warning that she would be playing catchup. Her second took the time to comment on the number of cursed players, and her third is below.

Whoa. Nice catch! I refuse to ignore stuff that stands out like that, and this smells so bad. I see the other reasons (as far as I can tell) are for general snark and not doing much baddie hunting. Similar to MM, except I feel more strongly about MM from the last time I voted because of those reasons. My only reservation is the sudden train catching on for MM (like a possible save?), but...I think, because I'm starving and do have that stronger conviction towards MM at the moment (and he appears to have a convenient curse/"curse" on him), I'll go that way today.

My gut tells me that it involved a third party, tbh. Trice absolutely did not post like someone who knew he was safe, he was frantic, and oddly enough I feel like MM didn't act right either because he would have been looser than he was. He actually seemed to be hamstrung in retrospect.

I think it was three, but I have been asking for more scrutiny on nju. I actually posted about this earlier, as well as the points you made on BWT--- trying to get people to talk about it. To no avail.

But I'd bet the other 4 do come from the same source. Golden, Jay, Epignosis, and myself have been targeted so far. Aside from Sockface (who's in a league of his own), that includes the three highest posters in the thread, plus Epignosis. There's a pattern here.

It seems odd to me, though, that 1 player would be able to target 2 different players at a time, though. His post also confuses me. But I might just be really tired.

How many people were insanified each day? The number of people they're able to target might be increasing periodically.

2 people seemed to be cursed in some way day 2. 3 people seemed to be cursed in some way day 3. I think.

We also don't know if there were other people who could have been cursed more subtly; were cursed and did not post; or (least likely) were cursed and were killed the same night.

On day 2, I speculated there was a curser on the civ team and a curser on the bad team. I still think that is logical, because balance. Having a third player apparently cursed on the last day cycle just makes me believe that one of the players in the game has some sort of mimicing ability within their role. I still think there is a civ curser and an evil curser.

It seems entirely too imbalanced for the baddie team to be able to stop at least 3 players from effectively posting in any given day cycle (if sleep were to silence someone and Mladic were able to curse 2 people at a time. That doesn't make sense to me as a game set up.
