These happen to be my top two suspects so I’m not gonna throw a fit.
Colin’s abstaining thingie. For you, gut and then Mac made a convincing case but then my brain melted and I don’t remember it.
If I absolutely have to be the determining vote, I’ll let you know which of you I will pick.....by voting right before the deadline.![]()
Assertion by whom?
Don't have any strong recollections. Idk if we've ever played together in a real game. I don't know. It's been ages since I drew a neutral role. I'd probably hang back a bit more than I normally do.Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 27, 2018 2:54 pmAssertion by whom?
I’ve seen nothing that suggests that. Haven’t checked Mac’s case to see if that would jive.
@Sloonei
How do you play neutral? Say objectives like survivor, side chooser, or any objective that requires you to survive long enough to do a thing.
That's not what I said; stop misrepresenting me. I regretted I didn't go with another option; inherent in that is that I'm taking full responsibility.colonialbob wrote: ↑Thu Apr 26, 2018 10:02 am"I voted him, but only because I didn't believe in myself" (paraphrased) - aka you let yourself get pushed into a Sig vote by the thread. "Best option we had available"
"Difficult to develop any counterwagon"
Those are the specific phases that stuck out to me
I kept saying things like "Hey sorry I'm not on the ball" and "I'm not fully invested in this game" and everyone piled votes on me while Baddie Kyle skated on by.
In GoC, Sloonei caught a lot of heat and end up mislynched because his activity level was lower than normal.
Haven't done that yet. I replaced in beginning of d2 without having read anything, made a conscious decision to not reread the entire thread. Did a few ISOs, haven't done yours yet. Was busy last night and today. Will ISO you before EoD.M Plus 7 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 27, 2018 3:02 pmWhat's your point? I swear when people bring bogus accusations against me because that shit's annoying.M Plus 7 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 26, 2018 9:37 am Oh, I see Sloonei responded. I'll have to mull over this, but the first thing I noticed is the use of strong language in it, which I think is atypical for Sloonei. I've seen Sloonei curse less than most of the players on this site.
I refer you to the above statement for my strong language. It may also be relevant that I've had an unusually aggravating week at work, and my response to Mac came on the heels of a particularly bad day. I might have just been grumpy. As far as Sloonei, I have had my own feelings of Sloonei playing a timid and calculated game since the latter half of Day 1 or so, but I wasn't really sure so I was reserving any strong opinion of him for the time being; Mac's case illustrates some pretty compelling points. Further, I feel like Sloonei's response to the case was very uncharacteristic, and it makes the fact that he dropped some over-the-top language in there seem a bit forced and insincere. I also feel like town Sloonei would be working harder to identify scum instead of defend himself, and I'm not seeing that either.
he's saying you should vote for GoC kyle, which is valid
I believe it was either Mac or wolbre or some combination of the twoJackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 27, 2018 2:54 pmAssertion by whom?

My reads haven't really developed beyond the early Day 1 stage. I've felt good about you, dunya, and mac for a while. Marmot seems a bit more focused early on than I'm accustomed to, which I like. Golden is a player I've struggled with but I'm leaning town on him, though I've probably only read about 20% of his content in this game. This is the most active I've ever seen Dom in a game and on the strength of that alone, I like him.

On one hand, I don't think he's the ideal lynch target for that, and on the other hand, the realistic expectation that he'll join the baddies says to lynch him.
I hope that all the Sloonei voters are coming from a similar perspective.
Dom used to play every game like this and then he did a very stupid thing and became a teacher.Sloonei wrote: ↑Fri Apr 27, 2018 3:16 pmMy reads haven't really developed beyond the early Day 1 stage. Colin is the closest thing I have to a real suspect, and now my vote is locked on him if I want to survive anyway. I might look at lunalee next, but she's an easy target. Jack and Turnip Head both seem to be playing extremely loose and I'm not sure what to make of that.
That's all I've really got in the way of defined reads at the moment. Everything else is a big blur of uncertainty.
I need to leave soon as well.
where? Monadnock?
