For those paying attention, timmer just gave himself a justification to plant his vote on me for the rest of the game with no critical thought going into it whatsoever. Notice that he doesn't care if I'm good or bad. He doesn't care that I'm not the only one who voted indiglo. He doesn't investigate why people jumped on board after me. He doesn't question their motives. He doesn't interact with them.

If timmer is a civilian, then what value is he if he's already dedicated his vote to me every day until one of us is dead? Is he genuinely angry at me for what happened to indiglo? Does he think I'm solely responsible for her lynch? Or is there some other motivation?

So DF, i put you at orange for similar reasons to Indiglo. At the time of my rainbow list, you had posted enough to define your presence, but not enough for me to have a notion of you contributing, thus you were classified as potential baddie lurking.

Nope. But I view voting for someone solely because they randomed to be worse than randoming.

In regards to my views on INH's humorous posts that made me suspect him originally, I can sympathize. Humor is needed for life, but too much of anything can be bad. When comparing what had triggered my suspicion vs my own playstyle, I do see similarities, but there's one key difference. When I have things to contribute or a goal to achieve, I make sure that I at least voice it or accomplish my goal after the humor has passed, or even with the humor.

Humor into a random vote does not accomplish this.
Really dude? You, DrWilgy, are criticizing someone for joking around in a mafia game?

Let me see if I understand your argument, because it utterly strains credulity for me. Apparently, Wilgy uses humor to accomplish a goal or accompanies his humor with gameplay. Uh huh.

In his mind, my random D1 vote isn't gameplay, but rather me awkwardly spasming about the thread. It boggles Wilgy's mind to possibly conceive of a goal I could achieve with my utterly inept, pointless, brainless random vote that has no basis in logic or rational thought.

Making me out to be the villain? Inept, pointless, and brainless are words that do nothing but slander me. I never said such things. Can you validate the purpose of your actions from a contributory civ view point?

Let's see how Wilgy uses humor.

INH, I actually do think we think alike. I think we both enjoy the stories and theatrics that mafia brings out in it's players. still in Canada. So far removed from the election. I might stay here lololol

Uh why can we still vote?

I see indi died. Rip. Is there a poll thread somewhere, for I'm assuming the final tally didn't look like it does now.

Based on this outcome, I still feel INH is bad, and MM may be his teammate.

But I have no polls to analyze. So...no real case but gut reads.

Where is everyone? It's like the Wilgy show (a cousin to the Itchy and Scratchy Show). And I don't see Wilgy as bad right now.

I also don't like how Timmer and MM are all ready to vote Epi. Like he said, he can't make anyone follow him. I'd be more suspicious of players just jumping on the wagon rather than the guy who first started it.

DFaraday has been killed. He was Robyn, town-aligned.

Metalmarsh89 has died. Here is his rolecard:

You are Hope Schlottman, town-aligned. You have a one-shot "desperado" kill, meaning once in the game during the day you may target any player; if that player is mafia, they will be killed, and if not, you will die yourself instead. Remember that Kilgrave cannot be killed by any means until at least one of the other two members of Mafia are dead, so if you target an at-that-point-unkillable Kilgrave, you will die then as well.

Day 3 begins now and ends in 48 hours.

We have to take into account that MM could've targeted a civ.

Well I caught up on the whole thread. And I actually have some reads as a result. As I am writing this post I am going back to try and refresh my mind with what I read in ISO because I wasn't compiling a post as I did my catch up. I wish I had. Anyway, here goes...

Reading Civ:
Wilgy
DDL
Scotty

Reading Bad:
INH
Timmer
Elo
Epi

No read at all/Absent:
Sorsha

So to give some explanation...

I will start first with my baddie reads. The thing about these is that they are not in isolation. I don't feel like any of them have done something that makes them look bad alone, but I have seen what appears to be ties, possible teammate actions IMO.

First is INH/Timmer: If I am forced to choose between INH and Wilgy who both seem to think the other is bad, I would choose INH as bad and Wilgy as Civ. Wilgy's behavior reads very much civ to me, and I feel like he was low hanging fruit on Day 1 because he really drove the Day 1 lynch. Timmer's response read angry to me, and INH seems to have a bit of remorse. It looks like he might have placed a distancing vote that bit him in the ass. If Timmer is Kilgrave then he is the logical choice for a distancing vote on Day 1. The thing that really caught my eye though was this kind of innocuous post:
insertnamehere wrote:Welp. Not really sure what to make of that. Timmer most likely has a power role, not sure if that means anything for his alignment.

Timmer, are you surprised at your pardoning?
The highlighted caught my eye because I found the wording to be off. Most people who don't know why someone didn't die would ask, "Are you surprised you didn't die?" Or perhaps, "Do you know why you didn't die?" But INH jumped straight to pardon, which implies a Civ reason for surviving a lynch usually. Pardoning is most often the mechanic used by a Mayor role. So to me it read like he either pardoned Timmer himself or he wanted to frame it as Civ as possible without defending him. Add in the fact I find his Day 1 behavior to be odd and it brings me to the conclusion there is a possible baddie connection there.

Elo/Epi: I don't think I need quotes to explain why I see a connection here. Elo 1.0 found him suspicious. Elo 2.0 seemed to do everything she could to excuse his behavior without outright saying she didn't suspect him anymore. But, the suspicion of these two is lessened for me by the most recent Night post. Odds are better in Epi's favor to be civ at this point given MM's death. And higher for Timmer to be Kilgrave, so the first connection looks more suspicious to me than this one at this point. But I don't feel like I can completely dismiss it either.

My civ read explanation:

DDL: Everything I saw from him looked like genuine attempts to baddie hunt. I don't know that I saw a single thing that looks suspiscious here.

Wilgy: I think I already mentioned this but Wilgy's Day 1 looked incredibly civ to me. And the response he got to his vote for timmer only made me feel even more like that was the case. He was low hanging fruit for some baddies if ever I saw it. I would say this is my most confident civ read in the game right now.

Scotty: Similar to DDL, Scotty's overall posts seem to genuine baddie hunting. There is something in his posts that make me less confident though, but I can't put my finger on what. I don't suspect him, but I am least confident in this civ read of all three.

No read on Sorsha since she is absent. And while I am not averse to voting people who are absent in general, I think we have enough to go on for now to leave her be until she gets back from vacation. Especially given the fact I myself was absent before this, lol.

There you go, those are all my thoughts after my catch up.
