So Luna, you say you suspect Jay but you voted Mongoose. I don't see anything about Mongoose in your recent posts. What did I miss?Lunalee wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2019 3:46 pmI don't like your empty day 0 reads. They seem baseless, and just throw suspicion on random people. Why?
I've come to accept that nutella is a a hound at sniffing out scum. Also, her back-and-forth with you leaves her looking a bit better than you in my opinion.
I might understand throwing out reads like you did on day 0 to get people talking. But you actually stuck with them into day 1. You say you suspect Indiglo and myself, then later on day 1, you still suspect us but "feel bad" lynching either of us. Day 1 is a time to build a case on those suspects if you were serious about them, or drop them if you weren't. Instead you're trying to look like you're staying "consistent," but you still just have no real reason for the suspicions.
I'm confused but what else is new.
JaggedJimmyJay wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2019 3:52 pm I explained my suspicions of Luna and indiglo, and neither of them have shit to do with anything on Day 0.
I have to devote my present energy to the other game, so I am kind of throwing shit out here in isolated moments while I work. That's all I can do right now.
My last few posts expand to more recent gripes. Accusing someone of having baseless reads on Day 0 is like accusing cows of mooing. Asking “why” one might hurl them out baselessly is hard to believe. I do it constantly and for reasons I have shared in 90 games.JaggedJimmyJay wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2019 3:11 pmDo you suspect rey for this? Do you suspect either Mac or myself? Careful trusting Mac and Jay just because they agree with your reads. That's actually a terrible reason to trust someone.
Yes, I definitely understood the problem with Luna's "why" post. You do this every game, for the same reasons. Moreover, I thought you covered at least one reason in a discussion you had with someone - indiglo I think - earlier.JaggedJimmyJay wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2019 5:09 pm Initially this, juliets. Just for the record, by aggressive, I don’t mean people who post too much. I mean people who try to build serious cases on someone on day one. They passively-aggressively start building a case against someone in the hopes of a surviving day one lynch. Even civs do this, but mafia do it more deviously. This is what I’m looking for.JaggedJimmyJay wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2019 4:49 pm This has that "I'm accusing people who have no names" vibe:

To clarify - by reverse connections, you mean that you feel those people are NOT connected to each other?Matahari wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2019 5:29 pm

I am also trying to make connections, including reverse connections. To be even more UNclear, I see connections between Nutella and Lunalee, and possibly Mongoose. Reverse connections would be you, Rey, or anyone who hasn’t connected with the ones connected. This is how my brain works in a game, although I may not always come up with the right answer.

"For the good of the group: don’t you think such unbridled frustration tends to read/skew more civ?" Time: 1:03 EST
And then going back two more posts she asked:
"Is everyone else seemingly being their typical selves playstyles?" Time: 11:31 am
Are these the "questions she was asking and the way she was asking them" that pinged you? They were not in her last few posts as you indicated. And the last question was hours ago. I find your post slightly suspicious unless I'm just not understanding what you're saying.
This one because if she's been here regularly playing with these folks (which she has) then it's a weird question. If she had been gone for a while and this was a first game back, or first game period, I could see asking this. Otherwise it strikes me as just plain weird, and "off". Plus, she mentions being AWOL, which she later said she's been playing burglarys regularly, so... I don't understand that.

Apologies for the leading question, but I really want to know the veracity of my (foregone?) conclusion.
This pair struck me as odd because after asking the question, she seemed to be satisfied with only the response of 3J. Which I think is odd.

Linki~
Is this is a legitimate question, I meant no offense to burglary hosts. Clearly, I mean not a game of a transitory nature, but one that’s got more complex roles, more players, more time. Like a side mission or a full game.
Appreciate this post! Your linki made me laugh. There’s been several times this thread I’ve done that, so I thank you all for that.
Sorry, I was replying to you earlier but didn't quote because I didn't know there'd be linki.
