Real talk, m8s

I like sloon’s suggestion of keeping a strong town voice or two, but might it also be a good move to try and kill obvious town when we see it?

Mafia still has to kill at night, and they might as well kill the towniest like usual, decreasing our odds of finding towniest. So each day will start anew finding our towniest voices. Is that a viable strategy? Hmm

Luckbox is my current towniest read. Cant place why

Hot take: This is wolf Sloonei's attempt to slot himself as the "Obvious town leader to murder in F5" given how he is generally viewed/read in mafia games.
That thought did kind of cross my mind even though I did agree at first. Now I don't know he hasn't been around. I picked a weird game for my first one back in awhile haha.

Yeah you did.

This game's weird, but hey, at least it's chill so far and not high-posting like some tend to be.

I think my predictions about this game during the n0 phase were accurate-- wolves are going to kill off all the people who seem to be trying, and leave a bunch of people who don't care to try to figure out who is who for the endgame.

Yeah it seems like there isn't many people doing much with the game in general yet. Maybe that will improve over time. I guess I'll vote for falcon.

ORDER UP

On the way into town, the trainees happened upon what looked to be a recently-abandoned diner. Fat Nancy’s, the sign proclaimed. A sign was in the front window- “If you can’t smell it…we ain’t got it!”

Inside the diner was nothing to write home about, but it had a kitchen, some food in the fridges, and a working stove. Even though the trainees were inside a simulation, and knew that they were inside a simulation, they still felt compelled to engage in the everyday tasks they would carry out in the real world.

As the day went on, they cooked and they hung out, but not much conversing was done. It was as if they had forgotten their orders on the first day. The General would have something to say about this for sure.

At the end of the day, the trainees cooked dinner and supped together. On the counter of the diner, fifteen crystal jars appeared- one for each of them. Stones appeared in each of their pockets again, but not all of them ended up being cast. Again, the General would have something to say about this in debriefing.

Once the deadline passed, the jars disappeared, just as the first ones had. Then came that voice again.

“SOME OF YOU BLUDGERS NEED TO DROP YOUR TINNIES AND GET TO WORK. THE GENERAL, THAT MONGREL, WILL HAVE YOU SCRUBBING THE SERVO AND DUNNIES WITH YOUR TOOTHBRUSHES. CRIKEY! HA-HA! HA! HA!”

The trainees looked at each other, unamused.

“ANYWAY, CONGRATULATIONS TO TRAINEE #10! YOU’VE WON AN ALL-EXPENSES-PAID TRIP TO… THE HOLDING ZONE!”

The door to the kitchen swung open, but instead of ovens and skillets, the trainees saw the brilliant white light of the nowhere the simulation started with. Trainee #10 got up and walked toward it.

“THAT’S RIGHT, JUST HEAD DOWN THE HALL AND TO THE LEFT. CAN’T MISS IT! HA-HA! HA! HA!”

Trainee #10 departed into the bright light and the door shut. All at once, the power went out to the diner.

“ALRIGHT YOU SLAKCERS,” THE GAME barked, ”FUN AND GAMES ARE OVER. MARCH YOUR BUTTS INTO TOWN AND FIND A NEW PLACE TO CRASH.” Then, in a softer tone, “THE HALLS OF JUSTICE IS QUITE THE SPACIOUS LOCALE, AND THE SUGARTOWN CABARET GOT TONS OF RAVE REVIEWS BEFORE THAT POOR NEIL HARTLEY FELLOW GOT MURDERED ON STAGE. HAPPY TRAILS! HA-HA! HA! HA!”

-----------------------

FALCON45CA HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM THE SIMULATION.

FALCON45CA WAS TRAINEE #10, VANILLA TOWN.

IT IS NOW NIGHT 1. IT WILL LAST UNTIL APPROXIMATELY 9:15 P.M. EST TOMORROW.

THE GAME WILL REMAIN LOCKED DURING THE NIGHT.

PLUCKED GOOSE

The trainees figured that a place called the Halls of Justice sounded safer than a place where a lounge singer got murdered. What they found there made them feel anything but safe (though really, everything happening around them was just a simulation and posed no real threat to them).

Outside the Halls of Justice there was a man tied to a column. He had been beaten mercilessly, but his lawman's uniform was still distinct through all the blood splatter. A sign was hung around his neck for all who ventured near to read: 'Plucked Goose- Death to all Bronze!'

Inside the Halls of Justice, the trainees settled down for the night. They could still hear the biker gangs outside terrorizing what few people remained.

In the morning, they awoke to find the front door hanging wide open into that see of unnerving whiteness. THE GAME addressed them.

"GOOD MORNING MY SILLY SIMIAN SIMPLETONS! HA-HA! HA! HA! THE ANTAGONIST FACTION HAS MADE THEIR CHOICE. TRAINEE #3, YOU MUSE LEAVE NOW."

One of the trainees got up, shrugged, and departed.

"VERY WELL," THE GAME said. "THE GENERAL EXPECTS MORE FROM YOU TODAY. MUCH, MUCH MORE. DO NOT DISAPPOINT HIM."

-------------------------------
THE MAFIA HAS REMOVED SLOONEI FROM THE SIMULATION.

SLOONEI WAS JIM GOOSE TRAINEE #3, VANILLA TOWN.

IT IS NOW DAY 2.

DUE TO SITE ACCESSIBILITY ISSUES AND A DESIRE TO KEEP THIS GAME CONSISTENT, DAY 2 WILL BE SLIGHTLY LESS THAN A TRUE 48 HOURS. PLEASE REFER TO THE POLL DEADLINE TIME.

ALL REMAINING PLAYERS HAVE RECEIVED 37 ROLLOVER POSTS TO USE IN DAY 2. THIS MEANS THAT ALL LIVING PLAYERS MAY MAKE NO MORE THAN 87 POSTS DURING DAY 2.

I WILL POST A POST-COUNT GRAPH SHORTLY SHOWING YOU WHAT YOUR OVERALL POST COUNT CEILING IS THROUGH THE END OF DAY 2 TO AVOID A PENALTY

Like Falcon’s #68 Post responding to TSP.
Is it weird to not really like Poison’s #95 Post? Probably Null but I get off vibes from it especially considering they can do that stuff day zero.
