my concerns about aro are that:

A. i remember that he claimed in the game where we wolfed together that he finds it easy to make posts as a wolf but struggles with posting more fluidly as a villager because he second guesses himself. he was posting very fluidly and very casually but not really doing anything that i perceived as scumhunting or solving. it seemed like he was posting for the sake of posting, which is roughly how i expect aro to enter the game if he is mafia

B. he told alison that he likes being scumread when he's mafia but this seems to be ....untrue. it is possible i am misremembering but i can't think of a single time during our wolfgame where he enjoyed being pushed on. it seemed like something he said to try to talk alison down from the push and not something that was actually based in truth.

it's all convoluted meta that you probably shouldn't care about unless you are exactly arogame, but figured i would explain anyway.

nanook is perhaps the only player in the history of forum mafia that is best read through vibes

if his vibes are off then he's probably mafia and if his vibes are good then he's probably town

more specifically, he tends to play in a way that comes off as confusing to others as both alignments but when he's town he usually forms attachments to specific views or reads that bleed through the rest of his posting. that's proly the only concrete advice i can give

Well, I've seen stacked player lists choke, but that doesn't mean the win probability is already high up if that is the case. Thus having high hopes already.

And no actually, not all good town players are necessarily good mafia players. And my point is that with the light tr, it gives me a good feeling that if they are actually town, that this game will be going in the right direction.

I can have a good feeling about something and high hopes even if it ends up becoming a lose.

Let me put it in terms of a sport team. Your team has all-star players and you are projected to win a championship. You have high expections at the beginning of the season and you are feeling good. That's kind of the feeling I have rn.
Obviously, along the way there can be injuries and players are not what they were supposed to be. Like here, my reads could end up being wrong and/or town can end up tunneling each other.

Stacked sports teams have such a high failure rate at actually meeting expectations.

Usually sports teams that are overhyped by signing too many star players end up flopping most the time

The best ones are usually when you have one or two insanely talented players and a bunch of people built to play around them

In your time in fm have you seen any stacked towns win a single game? (I’ve seen it go both ways and ig the only reason I’m pinged is that most invitational/champ games have been wolf stomps in recent times so I’m not sure why you would be optimistic here.. ig in general you are an optimistic person so rn I’m trying to figure out if this is just that or you as a wolf trying to replicate that optimism)

rondo felt town because his response to alisons pressure wasnt overly panicky. his tone in general seems calm/at ease. i dont have much of a read on sean, if people want him then then i have no issue with that atm
