My apologies for being quiet, QS, I've posted whenever I've been around and had any relevant thoughts. I don't tend to post much on Day 1's anyways.

It looks like the vote is going to be between deathlok and avalanche, i feel fairly familiar with the case on avalanche so i'm going to quickly look over deathlok's posts before deciding between those two.

I'm not really feeling the Avalanche suspicion. It feels like just an easy target situation. I won't be voting for him today. I am going to go ahead and vote Deathlok. This post does not sit well with me at all:

So I'm gonna go ahead and vote Scarlett Witch. If she's lynched, at best we've caught a baddie and her male friend, at worst I'll more or less feel like I can trust Polaris. Either outcome is better than the traditional Night 1 "Oh, we lynched a civvie and have no information about potential baddies, either."
Justifying his vote regardless of SW actual alignment seems really fishy to me.

Vote: Deathlok

The timing of those two votes just pinged me a bit for a minute. Not enough to make me change my vote though.

I think if avalanche wanted to avoid this he could have answered more of the questions brought to him instead of morlock tunnel vision.

Thants what pinged me and its not to go on but I rather vote someone who pinged then some one who didn't . I think if he would move past that I would have got better vibes from him.

I am voting for Longshot

He seemed to be looking at Sebastian for a reason for all appearances is a random vote. I do not know why or how you would ask someone to explain an apparent random vote. There is so much happening thread wise it looks to me like you want to avoid the mayhem.

i really didn't allow enough time for this, but at this moment i feel okay with avalanche, i think he's probably just a silly nerd. i feel more comfortable with a deathlok lynch, though not by a lot. reading his posts i do see some possible weirdness coming from that direction, especially with the accusations of sebastian not being a sock, so... *crosses fingers*

Assault the Battery

At first, Deathlok was feeling good about the damage dealt his way.

“Keep it up,” he said. “The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men…”

But he was blasted in the back and it caught him off guard. Others concentrated their power on him, and it became too much.

“I can’t contain all this…energy!” he cried. Unable to handle the intense pressure, power that he meant to store for later use, Deathlok detonated.

The Library

Image
Many of the rooms of the Xavier Institute for Higher Learning were trashed after all of the fighting. The library had been punished the worst.

Still, several volumes remained in tact. Several copies of the ever-popular grammatical guide He, Sheeyit: The Proper Uses of Pronouns, had survived the onslaught.

Professor Xavier’s recorded voice returned. It echoed through the library.

“You have exercised your bodies; now you must exercise your minds. Select a work from the library to study now. Receive the knowledge contained therein.”

It is now Night 1. You have 23 hours to send your PMs.

Hrm, generally when a group of civvies erroneously vote for an other civvie, they say *something*. This (almost) total silence in the face of a civvie lynch is rather ominous to me.

Linki @Deadpool; well perhaps one reason why is that you voted for him.

Rip Deathlok :/

Im surprised we got it wrong with the chances of getting a Baddie higher than a usual game :(

I'm kind of leaning to read How to Spot Imposters, or being Obscenely Wealthy (and other defensive tactics).

RIP Deathlok. :(

Sorry I missed the vote. I had to stay over at work today because of big, important things we have going on tomorrow and I missed the vote because of that. I also don't have much time right now because I'm about to go watch the UK/UConn game so I'll make this brief.

I think at this point, I've reversed my stance on Avalance. I don't think a baddie is going to draw that much attention to themselves this early in the game. I think all the civvies need to pay attention to his one post in particular about why the baddies have been winning so many games recently. There's some really useful info in there.

Hawkeye, it was how I felt at the time with the information we had. I'm not really sure what else it is you want to hear from me. But I'm all ears if you have any more questions.

I am not harping on you, I am stirring the pot, as it were. I am asking questions, and assessing answers. This is how I play Mafia. This kind of sounds like Avalanches post where he asks why, basically, I am picking on him.
I went with Deathlok. Again you are overlooking facts when it comes to me. I haven't made any cotradicotrynposts. I made loose connections tht I admitted should have been more spelled out big time. Yet somehow that is now "contradictory".

I voted The Humanitarian Mutant because... well I kinda just felt like it! Think I need to catch up properly as well because I'm kinda surprised Deathlok got lynched, I hadn't seen anything especially wrong with anything he said. I sort of thought it might be Avalanche that went, though I don't think he's bad either.
