In my entire mafia career, I have yet to be on the correct side of a baddie lynch.
while i've voted to kill an independant, I've never voted to kill a member of a mafia team which resulted in a lynch.

I honestly don't know what to think of it yet. I pushed his lynch in more than one game for his experimental game, and he was civ, and he did something very similar in the lightning game on Sunday, and he was a civ. Which isn't to say he won't hide behind it at some point, using the, "But I did this exact thing in Game X when I was a civ".Bass_the_Clever wrote:S~V~S what do you think of what Made said about trusting people?
Yeah.....uh......no.Made wrote:Yo Snow, thoughts?
In my opinion, I think a baddie is just as likely to self-vote as a civvie. Being that only Hyrulians can buy items, I'm not sure you want to claim such things.Made wrote:Before it becomes an issue, Epig, are people allowed to claim that they received money from Ganon or that they currently hold a specific item?
I presume the Host looks after all the accounts.Made wrote:What? That's bullshit...
Question still stands for receiving money for Ganon.

These are items the members of Hyrule can purchase, and are permanent upgrades except where indicated. The Hyrulians cannot pool their rupees.
motherfuc- look, I didn't know that. I figured rupies worked like the two sets of minions upgrade based on the amount of rupies that ever were in their possession and that they could then spends those to get items.zeek wrote:MADEEpignosis wrote:Items

I don't ever recall seeing it on day one, though.Metalmarsh89 wrote:In my opinion, I think a baddie is just as likely to self-vote as a civvie. Bow's not actually an item, friend.Snow Dog wrote:If Made wants a bow i think I must vote for him.

I didn't. it was a light-hearted joke that apparently was incredibly offensive.Snow Dog wrote:Did you mean arrow? Or boomerang maybe?Made wrote:Bow's not actually an item, friend.Snow Dog wrote:If Made wants a bow i think I must vote for him.
I am inclined to agree. Hold the randomiser!zeek wrote:Well, I don't know whether you misread the rules or not, but lets be honest here - theres nothing else to go on.
Voting Made.

He always gets my attention, but I would rather be cautious at this point have so i am unlikely to vote for him.

I have to check the other game, and will be back to finish catching up.

Can you explain the joke to me?
This, however, is a super weird defense. Your previous mafia roles have absolutely nothing to do with your role now. So that pings me a bit. *Ping*Made wrote:http://www.mafiathesyndicate.com/viewto ... 743#p92685

In my entire mafia career, I have yet to be on the correct side of a baddie lynch.
My impression of this was that the "heroes" (i.e. baddie roles) would normally be expected to save people and failed to do so. Epi's polls usually ask some variation of "Who's the bad guy?", so I figure this is just another way of doing that. I'm inclined not to read too much into the talismans yet. But I didn't get one, so maybe you guys know more than I do there.thellama73 wrote:I think the implication is that anyone who could have saved him, but didn't, must be bad, and therefore lynched.sabie12 wrote:Not sure if this is right but my thoughts are that we should look at what talisman everyone chose. There are two talismans that only one person chose. Perhaps that's where the answer lies? As in one person could have saved him using their talisman? Or is it we decide which talisman would have saved him and pick someone in that group?
This day has been jokey-jokey McJokerson so far. Glad to see some on topic discussion.
MP has been abnormally quiet so far, but I expect he'll give his "being an accountant is time consuming" excuse again. :PRusstifinko wrote:Also wanted to say: MP, what gives? Kinda weird to explain it, but i'll try.
Basically, the goal was to create humor by saying that i wanted a specific item, then adding a "k?" to the end of the statement. The wanting something just for the sake of wanting something was suppose to be kinda funny.
Your response of "If you want a bow i might have to vote you" seemed to imply that you took my remark as to literally want a bow, which i said not even knowing if one exist or not.
I'm currently hoping for sympathy from the "confused crew"'
Also in reference to the very similar thing of calling out mp, SVs and Splints last game. They all said Halloween sucked in the preliminary poll, so i responded sayingobviously they should be lynched. I did this before I received my role.
linki-@Bass Welcome to Wifom city that hurts no one but Mafia.
Yeah! You'd think being an accountant, he'd be better at giving accounts of his time.thellama73 wrote:MP has been abnormally quiet so far, but I expect he'll give his "being an accountant is time consuming" excuse again. :PRusstifinko wrote:Also wanted to say: MP, what gives? Why sabie?Made wrote:I'm very quickly getting invested in this game, but i also have work to do. Going Sabie and will check in again before 9 and change votes if need be. Real talk tho, y'all play way too conservatively d1.
By saying nothing but "nothing has happened yet, it's only day one" adds nothing to the conversation. Say words and stuff. Productive day 1s come from lots of words.
My Dad is an accountant; he spends his whole day playing Words with Friends and talking about the good old days with his cronies, and signing papers his secretary fills out. I did not know him when he was in college though; perhaps he was more dynamic back then.thellama73 wrote:MP has been abnormally quiet so far, but I expect he'll give his "being an accountant is time consuming" excuse again. :PRusstifinko wrote:Also wanted to say: MP, what gives? out the gate, I trust Llama, Sabie, and Hedgie.
I have no reason or knowledge promoting me to do this. Chances are none of these people are mafia, so i should be fine maybe.
I was starting to believe you but this makes little sense to me.Made wrote:shit, inb4 "HYPOCRITE I THOUGHT YOU TRUSTED HER I'M VOTING MADE"
I put her on my squad assuming she was going to act a certain way, and she hasn't. While it could just be her getting more use to mafia, she seems extremely talkative which is kinda throwing me off.
I needed(need) to stop playing, and i wanted to lay my vote down. Sabie made the most sense based on my opinon of her play. I always read her personally as a play style similar to that of Dana's so her being incredibly talkative in forum, and openly confused has thrown me off. This compounded with her inconsistency was enough of a reason to vote for her to me.Snow Dog wrote:I was starting to believe you but this makes little sense to me.Made wrote:shit, inb4 "HYPOCRITE I THOUGHT YOU TRUSTED HER I'M VOTING MADE"

I tend to agree with this.Bass_the_Clever wrote:I not sure. When I read the roles it seemed to me that Ganon is the one to spend the rupees then gives upgrades to his minions. So I don't think Ganon would give anyone any rupees so it really caught my eye that he would ask a question about receiving Rupees from Ganon.
Then there's this about MP:Made wrote:

I would think MP would understand too. Maybe MP was just trying to build a case on someone and that's the best he could come up with.Russtifinko wrote:Also wanted to say: MP, what gives?
