Somebody told me that we're lynching somebody. What sort of games do you kids even play nowadays? Why is death so prevalent in today's culture? Why do you people insist on eliminating your own kin?

So I failed to re-read everything written toDay, because I'm a slow non-reader. I went back to check on people picking on llama, who should not be lynched for obvious reasons and for being a guy I can relate to.

Such people were: lovedalick (am I pronouncing this correctly?) for roleplay disdain, Sloonei with pressure vote, Wilgy for roleplay disdain and then stack vote call and Sorsha for roleplay disdain. That's a lot of roleplay disdain for my taste, but Wilgy's stack vote call was also slightly gross. Tobias had spent the day working diligently to guide his in-laws through the initial period of this crisis. There was an air of trepidation and uncertainty in the Bluth apartments and the model home, each member trying to find their niche and behave the way they felt they should. Tobias sensed their fears, and realized it would be up to him to bring them together. They all looked up to him, he knew, as an experienced analrapist and actor.

Not everyone was pleased with Tobias though, indeed most of them just thought he was a creep and openly said as much at every opportunity. Michael was especially candid:

Michael: "Okay. You know what you do? Buy yourself a tape recorder. Record yourself for a whole day. I think you're gonna be surprised at some of your phrasing."

Tobias: (gasps) "Butterscotch! Want a lick?"

later...

Tobias: You know, Michael, perhaps I should buy you that tape recorder. Do you have any idea how often you say the word "afraid"?

Michael: "Well, I know I did in the jacuzzi."

Tobias: "And I apologize for that. I thought it was a pool toy."

But it was too late for apologies. Michael and the other family members had already agreed to remove Tobias from the equation. They informed him of an audition opportunity out of town and sent him away. He was eager to prove himself, but in the end show business proved too hot for him to handle despite his best efforts.

Sloonei was lynched.

Also, I had a lot of time to think about who I was suspicious of when I was learning how to drive the Bluth stair car. Ann's death doesn't shock me too much because, after looking at my vote analysis, she was one of five people I wasn't suspicious of. Sorry to see her die. Now I fear I've only got one shot at finding love but it seems like it's the forbidden kind.

Gosh, Maeby. I don't think you need to lose any weight. I think the word you're looking for is emancipated.

I'd love to see that movie with you. I hear it is a very moving tale of romance. We can share our suspicions and perhaps our innermost secrets too. Or, you know, just our suspicions. Whatever works for you works for me.

The three I am most pinged by (it's a technical investigative term) are GOB, Lucille, and Steve Holt. It's curious that every time GOB got a vote that, you know, someone came in and voted for someone else. I know it sounds crazy but it could be that one or more people tried to shift the spotlight elsewhere or halt any GOBmentum.

Lucille tied Uncle Tobias with GOB by her vote. Also worth noting, I think, is that Steve voted for Pop Pop at a time when most discussion was on GOB and your dad. Steve's vote came after a third vote for you dad but Steve voted to create a three-way tie. If teammates, Steve's vote give GOB a better chance at surviving a tie-breaker while also avoiding the attention that would come from breaking a tie near the end of the day.

What do you think about that? I have to go learn some more Quicken before our movie.

I know I'm just a kid and my opinion doesn't matter much to my family members but I think Ann was a pretty sensible NK target. The only person gone out of the Tobias, Pop Pop and GOB vote clusters is Tobias. Ann voted for a tangential (I just love sneaking in math terms) option. She was made the only vote for Buster once Tobias switched his vote to GOB.

Ann's vote wasn't likely to be, you know, scrutinized as much as those votes for Tobias, Pop Pop and GOB. We're probably expected to analyze those vote movements so much that we wouldn't notice Ann. I'm a little guilty of this already. By killing someone we wouldn't have noticed today, the killers are keeping the maximum number of bodies around from those vote clusters for them to hide in.

That's my theory. Just tell me if I'm out of line and I will go back to Quicken and trying to write love poems that aren't so awkward.

So after looking up the character, I definitely want to watch more and see Zeebs character in action. I know Mae Whitman from Parenthood :)

I don't get it. How does not noticing Ann fit the mafia agenda? Do you think one of the other wagons was a baddie?

Anyways, MP voted outside the wagons as well, and left a green check to boot, but the bad guys still went for Zeebs. Maybe they didn't want to hit wrong and clear a civilian in the process, but going for Zeebs meant they weren't worried about taking out the cop.

I don't know how Ann's vote not being scrutinized, as reason for her being made dead, means anything unless it means you're looking at me, the person she voted for. But you don't mention me  I don't really understand your theory, but you seem to have given it some thought :ponder:

Or I guess you could mean that we wouldn't be questioning Zebra's vote if she were alive today, so they killed her. Still, that means they gave up going after the cop in order to take her out. That hardly seems a worthwhile tradeoff, but what do I know, I'm just a simpleton.

On the next... Arrested Development:

G-Man, Metalmarsh89, and Sorsha will explain (1) their votes for Sloonei and (2) why they did not believe DrWilgy's peek on Sloonei was legitimate.

Elohcin, thellama73, and Ricochet will explain why (1) their votes for lovedelic and (2) why they did not believe Spacedaisy's peek on lovedelic was legitimate.

lovedelic and Spacedaisy will explain why (1) their votes for thellama73 and (2) why they did not believe Ricochet's peek on thellama73 was legitimate.

Spacedaisy will explain why she voted for me, then moved my vote without responding to my inquiry and acknowledging the switch.

It's possible one of these peeks is real. So why did all of these votes land like this?

On the next... Arrested Development:

The narrator breaks the fourth wall, and speculates that if he *had* killed Ann, he would have done it to avoid a situation of "seer hunt clear", and only then.

A "seer hunt clear" would be a situation in which the mafia kills one of the five players who claimed a n0 green peek, that player flipped vanilla civilian, and then the player that they claimed as a n0 green peek would be a confirmed vanilla civilian, and the cop would still be at large.

With that said, I still think occam's razor suggests that the cop threw out a n0 green peek so that, if he were night killed n1, we would at least have some information by which to move forward, so it is silly that the mafia did not kill any of those five.

I guess, in a way, the mafia have avoided the concept of "seer hunt clear" altogether by taking Zeebs out Night 1. They have now established that their kills may not be based on hunting for the cop, so if they hit a vanilla with cop cover later in the game, those green checks are not automatically validated.

It's a clever strategy if true. I can only think of a few players who might think of doing something like that. :ponder:
