I am likely to be slightly vague until I do a read back today, because yesterday was one of the most exciting days of my entire life - my beloved NZ cricket team made their first ever world cup final. As the Black Caps go, so my mental health follows. I am very happy but also pretty much unable to focus on anything.

Speedchuck's role and affiliation has been revealed. He is:
You are TOWN. You will win if all anti-town factions are eliminated.
You are 59: The Moon (Elemental). Each night, you will PM one element to the hosts (Light, Darkness, Gas or Dust) and one player to be targeted for any effect the element may have. If the Sun is in the game, they will also choose one element out of Light, Darkness, Gas or Dust. When you and the Sun are both in the game, your element choices will combine to form one effect. Each combined effect may only be triggered once. The Sun's target will get the benefit of any positive effect, while your target will suffer any negative effect. You may not choose the same element or the same target on consecutive days. You will not be informed of the effects of your elements.
He is still alive. Carry on.

I was so excited to have lost that role, and I was expecting more flak than this. I was petrified of the way we thought things were going, that our results were going over there. That I was going to have to walk into a new group of people who had not seen my posts, only that awful role. ESPECIALLY after INHs role died.
So I was just relieved. I made it to Night 7 without even one vote. You have no idea how stressful this was. And how worried I was about how people would react to it. I was town before and I am town now.
OK, now this,

Are we going to start having role reveals all the time now?
Chuck, you don't have to hit me over the head twice (although how fast you dropped Dom, in conjunction with LC's role, ugh, maybe I just hate being wrong) After your aggressive defense of LC, however, I am not sure I trust your gut. I feel the opposite of how Epi feels about me, about DDL. I think his posts sound bad, but there is that Mr Freeze thing; like DH said, why would a baddie stop his own kill? Unless they knew his role might be revealed, or some portion of it? The #32 hint was so vague I had to beat people up to look at it ha ha
Also, now that this is posted in thread and is discussable; why does anyone doubt there is more than one bad faction? Anyone who read their role PM would know that.
I am going to reread Quin harder, as well as DDL today. But that Mr Freeze thing still gives me pause. Also DH; I felt one of him or Chuck was bad, and it apparently isn't Chuck.
And again, baddies, Thank You

I have never been to happy to have been NKed!

Alright, so now that I can actually speak to my sort-of-meta:
As town, I am a poor scumhunter with spurts of absolute genius. You saw Buffy. The only time I suspected a scummer (aside from the one we lynched) was you, and you weren't scum yet. Occasionally, I hit genius. I did so in Phenon Origins, and also in Great Gatsby. But much of the time, I'm average-to-bad.
So not trusting my gut is A-OK.

Fair enough. And speaking to my own meta (bad or good) I tend to not trust anything ever; info, analysis, as much as I trust my gut. I can see the logic, and logically agree with it, but I will never be 100% on anything. Like, it could be possible that when it became apparent that the Dom lynch wasn't going to fly, LC used his power on you (Golden would not confirm that his power died with him) instead; this would explain how quickly you dropped Dom.
I super sincerely doubt that, I think his power prolly died with him, and you are who the weirdly mysterious host post said you were. So imma trust you to the extent that I can.
Your reads seem for the most part fairly opposite to mine. We obviously must have at least one baddie here who chose to not kill in this thread before now. Based on the target being me, I have a hard time seeing who it might be. WHo do you think might have targeted me, and why me?
I am not trying to be "me-centric"; I dislike it when others do that. But I am the only NK in this thread. I am not sure why that might be.

For a bit I believed the they get told our kills and vice versa theory, but now I don't know. I wonder if they are having lynches or not? I assumed they did, but that weird thing LC said was weird. It had no real "freak out" value", so not sure of his point in saying it.

I can't speak for the lynch thing.
The kills. No kills in this tribe until LC died. Why? If they could choose to kill in either tribe, why not choose this one at all?
Answer: Because they had two vote manipulators in this tribe, were confident in using the lynch to handle people until the merge, and instead nightkilled in the other thread. Now that LC is gone, and with him the advantage, SVS dies.

Y'know what? The above theory is probably hogwash. I have no idea.

You have no idea how tense I was. Golden told me no one would know they had the virus, and that it still was in effect after I died, soooo ... yeah. If anyone had voted for me then heard my role, I was toast, and so were they. I was pretty paranoid. Especially after INHs role died. And I was not allowed to go real far in terms of, "You will be sorry if you vote for me", or "voting for me is a really bad idea" kind of stuff.
I have to assume/hope that there are other civs who have roles that don't exactly sound civvish, or that were bad in their original game. So I am just glad it is out of the way before the merge, and you guys either believe me or you don't because I am sure they will want to lynch me ASAP post merge, especially if LC was right and they really did not lynch anyone yet.
I think going this long without one single vote is some kind of a record for me.
DH, you voted for DDL after the Mr Freeze theory when you yourself said, Why would a baddie block their own kill? Do you still think that was a valid theory? Do you hold to the one team or two teams theory? If the two teams he could still be bad and on the team that did not kill that night. I am conflicted, early on I thought he was pretty bad, but he has shown civ flashes.
And I know Chuck "cleared" Quin, but I still have my doubts. Especially coming from Chuck, whose role does things he doesn't know what they are, lol. I still think no one can be cleared under the circumstances of this game.
Also want to see more of Bob. He has been pretty low key since his big day.

I know that; I just find clearing people when there are so many secrets for any reason to be especially ironic coming from you when what your role does is a secret even from you. And who it effects positively is also a mystery from you.
You of all people should know the maths are suspect when there are no absolutes in play. Because, you know, there aren't.
