To expand, I guess what I was ineloquently trying to say is that most conventional early rounds of
Mafia see more debate, more wagon swings, etc as town tries to coalesce and find a consensus landing spot or two. This round feels like no one is trying very hard to explore all options. In my experience that should be a red flag that a portion of players are content with how things are going (i.e. scum are happy), but in this case it might just be the opposite, because if we're more or less collectively correct about the PoE (NIK, polypies, etc) then they don't strike me as the type of players capable of shaking up a towncore and will just be going with the flow for now. (And/or the scum don't know each other and don't know who they should be trying to protect.)
So basically I'm going to use this gamestate as an opportunity to also not fully engage, because I think we probably have a hit between NIK and Polypies, just as we did between SloonJack and NIK.
