In my opinion, it feels like it's Mafia's turn. With such a positive Day 1/Night 1 result it's hard to argue against doing anything other than continue in the direction we're currently heading in and reevaluate once we have more information (lynch results, Night 2, etc)

To expand, I guess what I was ineloquently trying to say is that most conventional early rounds of Mafia see more debate, more wagon swings, etc as town tries to coalesce and find a consensus landing spot or two. This round feels like no one is trying very hard to explore all options. In my experience that should be a red flag that a portion of players are content with how things are going (i.e. scum are happy), but in this case it might just be the opposite, because if we're more or less collectively correct about the PoE (NIK, polypies, etc) then they don't strike me as the type of players capable of shaking up a towncore and will just be going with the flow for now. (And/or the scum don't know each other and don't know who they should be trying to protect.)

So basically I'm going to use this gamestate as an opportunity to also not fully engage, because I think we probably have a hit between NIK and Polypies, just as we did between SloonJack and NIK.

I gave up trying to respond as I read, the way this website works for comment replies is annoying. Here are my dumped thoughts:

I saw there was some early Day 0 discussion re: Tutuu being a wolf but I think if NIK’s a wolf then Tutuu’s unlikely to be one because she just seems to be repeating that polypies is a wolf without trying to generating any meaningful discussion. I just don’t see that serving a purpose in a world where Tutuu is evil.

@MrRadishes: Please explain to me your Falcon = town read to me. My day 0 snap-read was that he’s a wolf and comments like #2170 that throw subtle shade on people don’t make me feel any better.

Mac = town, #1791 is a lot of sass for a wolf that’s about to have a teammate voted out. What’s the point of this comment as a wolf?

I take back my thought when I was confused about how the wolf chat works but I think it does work how I originally thought so I stand by my comment that it could just to be to mess with people’s heads and that they’re free to share identities. I’m not sure its particularly productive discussion though, since I don’t see a way to confirm either way.

I think the fact that neither NIK nor polypies has said very much of anything at all this phase isn’t a great look. It’s past 1AM here so I’m going to place my vote on NIK for now but I should have time to read pre-this phase tomorrow to make an actual decision.

If most of the townie as shit people are in fact town (ie. if our towncore is remotely close to correct), then there's going to be quite a few mafia in the POE. The level of consensus reached on reads and alignments this game suggests that mafia in the POE have to expand the POE. Conversely, mafia in the POE who cannibalize other POE members are only going to make themselves look worse by tightening the net.

Therefore Radish is town for pushing NIK and NIK is scum for pushing Mac. Unless our towncore is completely wrong and there's a bunch of deepwolves, but I'm not going there yet.

This assumes they know who each other are. That said, that kinda logic works for NIK pushing Mac, less so much for Radish pushing NIK.
Mafia is watching the same game we are, and therefore shares town's interest in having an accurate POE.
