It doesn't, with the exception that if Mac's take were to be real, it would be something like "thread activity is townie, and postcount is a vague measure of threadactvity, therefore Seanzie is townie", because "postcount" is not actually townie on it's own, it is just a measure that tends to correlate with other measures of townieness, and I don't think Mac is actually looking at me in a nuanced enough way to see this.
