Mafia: A World Reborn Game Thread - Game Over

Re: Mafia: A World Reborn Game Thread - Day 6
I don't think Golden's case against Timmer is strong. So Timmer was in the vicinity of two kills. Ok.
I don't really like Timmer's responses, especially when it comes to the item thingy, because he himself very much implies he had something to do with it. But that seems to be pertaining the Epi kill, which seems to have happened toDay, not last Night. It's not enough to make me vote for him.

Hey, Golden?Golden wrote:
Plus, I believe timmer to be lying about having no items. That was the point at which he guaranteed my vote, because there is no way that is true.
Care to launch a sig bet on this? Because I HAVE NO ITEMS. I cannot be any more blatantly clear about it. You are wrong about me. And if I haven't worked very hard to day to flseh out new and interesting cases, it's because the case against juliets is solid as hell, and I'm pretty sure Tranq is likely on to something re: Floyd, as well.

And I've also been working evening shifts all week (and right this second, as well) and it is very difficult for me to post while at work. I've been managing it because you are forcing me to defend against your ideas which are offbase, but I'm not really supposed to be here doing this.

Why exactly would you vote Floyd over Juliets here in light of what happened last time Juliets was only two votes ahead in the lynch poll at end of day?DFaraday wrote:Voting Floyd. He hasn't done much to convince me.

So ... you are voting Juliets for waffling on her votes (which is something civ Juliets does pretty much always) by waffling on YOUR own vote, which is something you do very seldom?Golden wrote:He convinced me.
I will reiteerate

I am missing what others are seeing about Juliets, tbh. Having read up on Floyd, I am not sure what point a baddie would be making by pretending not to know what NK meant, so also not voting Floyd.
I do think Mac is intentionally trying to be a distraction, which is not supatown to my mind. So voting Mac

No, I'm voting juliets because I think she is bad. I have said nothing about her waffling on her votes.
I also voted juliets yesterday. I'm not waffling on that suspicion. My suspicion on timmer has never meant I felt any better about juliet, I just prioritised timmer because, as I mentioned, if he was bad I felt his lynch was urgent. If it wasn't for that, I wouldn't have even raised timmer today. I just would have bided my time over it, and voted juliets.

@Timmer: What happened to the item that you had earlier that you say you didn't realize was the obsidian dagger?
I'm going with a Mac vote for now, as I continue to think he is bad (and especially since others are voting that way, and there may be a chance of lynching him).
I will consider moving my vote, but I feel pretty good about it for now.

Nothing happens when one votes for you, despite what you've implied before. I don't believe anything happens if you have the most votes.

I'm going to vote Mac. I wish I could have found the right words to convince those of you who voted for me that I wasn't bad. Some of you know I'm not bad and you will not be surprised that I am civ. Some of you I think genuinely feel I'm bad but you will see that I am not. I've enjoyed playing with you all!

I think Mac is hilarious.
Btw Golden, how am I suspicious? I have map reasons to suspect Marsh, so I took your map reason to suspect Timmer at face value.

Because you didn't explain your vote very well other than 'I'm trusting golden' which always bothers me a little when there hasn't been anything more to it. People are very adept at following my lead then blaming me and lynching me.Matt F wrote:I think Mac is hilarious.

Golden, in Dune you thought I was a recruit because I was defending the person you wanted lynched. Now you've got a ping because I believe you are telling the truth?

I wouldn't say I'm comfortable with you getting lynched right now. I don't know what your affiliation is, but its pretty clear you are not bothered in the slightest by being lynched, so I don't know why you are taking votes actually. If there is anyone I think it is pretty clear isn't getting lynched today, it's you.

Why don't you vote yourself? And, why are YOU voting juliets, while encouraging others to vote you?

But why assume juliets is scrip? I'm not assuming it... it doesn't account for only a two vote lead ending in a tie, for starters.

Mafia: A World Reborn - Day 6 Lynch
-= Strange Magic =-
MacDougall smirked as the votes came in for him and juliets. It was all so entertaining, to see the angry people with their bloodthirst and cries for justice. He glanced over at juliets, who looked concerned, obsessively rubbing a spot on the back of her hand over and over.
"Time to pay the piper!" cried the Master Thief, slipping his hand into Dr Von Dreszenstein's lab coat pocket while he said it, and pulling out some sort of measurement apparatus. He furrowed his brow, trying to figure out what it was, and then put it back with a shake of his head.
The Grim Shaman rolled some bones from a skull, and peered at them. "Strange magic is at work here!" He peered around ominously at the gathered crowd. "I don't think-"
"Enough!" cried the Cursecrafter. "MacDougall is clearly the one- let's get on with this!" He lifted his runed hammer high and took a step toward MacDougall. The others agreed - MacDougall would feel their wrath on this lynch.
That's when things got weird. Every step that someone would take toward the condemned man caused the world to tilt for them, throwing them off balance. The Possessing Entity slammed hard into Gladius Mechaspark, causing various contraptions to begin whirling and ticking as the inventor fell to the ground. The Quantum Key flailed her arms and fell into the Chaos Wizard, who, though he was enjoying the chaotic scene, couldn't quite make his feet work correctly.
The confusion lasted only a few seconds, but when it was over, MacDougall was nowhere to be seen.
MacDougall has not been lynched. It is now Night 6. You know what to do - the earlier, the better!
