Is there anything random about what you've done?

You are perfect for party planning, as your attention to details and obsession with getting the job done gives you the skills needed to do an impressive job. This time, you’ll be planning a party: A lynch party! One Night, you will submit a list of invitees to the Host. These will be the only names on the poll the next Day. Your list must have at least four names.

I did have a choice.

I decided to make an objective, detatched one, that isn't clouded by my own (terrible) scumhunting skills.

I want to lynch low posters. Not sure which ones. Have wanted since Night 1, actually, but LC's little game poured water into my beer.

On the one hand, probably not a bad decision.

On the other hand, not one we can hold you accountable for. By design? Idunno. We can't judge DDL on his picks because he picked an objective standard.

Nova is right that this role was town last time, though.

This notion that roles are predominantly civilian or predominantly mafia means little to me in this game. I'm a civilian who makes it harder for people to post. I don't even think Long Con has to be a civilian based purely on his role claim.

I don't think there's anything inherently suspicious about DDL using the role he was given in this way. There are plenty of reasons to suspect him that aren't role-related, but this doesn't move the ticker down for him in my opinion. What else was he supposed to do with it?

If the Mafia are just flat missing kills (unknown, but plausible), that points more to leetic than anyone else. It can point to Neverwhere and niju and probably does not point to Luna.

I'll just say why I poked nova with the insanity stick:

His rate of contribution had been tailing off for a while, and that was generating increased suspicion alongside interactive bits. His earliest civilian credit had faded. Indeed, he was reverting into the form of Guy Who Posts Gifs.

So I decided he'd make a nice target for my weird ability. In past games, there have been instances where civilians have been hit with some kind of posting restriction, and during that period they operated in a manner that made their authenticity more clear. Some people will use any method they can come up with to communicate effectively instead of using the excuse to just piss off from the game for a day. So I wanted to see how nova would respond to that challenge. How has he performed?

I will issue a positive grade, though with a minor groan. He has found ways to communicate within the bounds of his restriction, and indeed he has engaged in almost "cheating" activities (no gripe, I've done the same in his position) that don't really apply to the restriction but may not violate it either -- emojis, raw quotes, etc. He's been generally active as much as anyone during the phase and seems to be trying to make the best of it.

Minor groan: the emojis were shite and offer less tangible communication than the other methods he's used. So those sucked. He hasn't wholly relied upon them though so whatever.
