So why would almost your whole scum list bus one of their own when one of their wolf bros is the counterwagon?

Meta. I'm not locking it in because on the surface his scum game is similar, but his constant borderline tinfoily questioning of everything big and small combined with breezy banter is likely just town falc. The fact others who know him say the same is encouraging.

1) I'm trying to stir up discussion. MR is right, the thread's slowed down.

2) There's a number of players in the game I had no recollection of. I did the rainbow exercise in an effort make reads on said players.

3) Again, this is not who the exact construction of what I think the scum team is. The red is a list of players who I'd vote today for doing scummy things.

Note the nuance baked into this question y’all. I’m not asking who y’all think is the least trustworthy of whoever your towncore is. Im asking of your towncore, who looks worst after a hypothetically bad EOD?

If I am playing the way I am playing I am a townsiding mafia. The optimal thing to do is turn on me in the late game if I don't manage to get myself cleared somehow strongly. Let me townside and kill my team off then kill me. There's no pro town agenda behind tinfoiling me at this juncture.

So I guess I'm going to vote NIK. They say they always bus as scum and they voted for jack who was scum. In this game though with the uncertainity about whether scum knows thier teammates the idea that they would have bussed wouldn't make sense as a defense.

Re Made and the Obliterator, that isn't really a mafia role first off, I'd view it as more of an evil independent and we don't know the mechanics of the role. They could easily fake a soup to clear someone. Now that isn't likely but could happen

Also for mafia secret chat my best guess is they're probably deciding game moves without outting themselves, meaning Jack would've probably been trying to save himself in the scum chat. So while it would've been more difficult I'm actually now thinking that the flip makes NIK look a bit better

Between the Obliterator stuff and the fact that they voted Jack, that gives them enough credibility that we can leave them alone for a bit. Re-eval if they drop off/don't do anything for a long time or if they don't get killed for too long, but I'm not remotely interested in exeing them today and probably tomorrow unless something changes drastically.

Not only does it suck but ummm multiple secret mafia roles that could so fuck things up, plus multiple third party roles that could fuck shit up, plus town powers. It's actually really dumb to try and mech solve it just takes one mafia member getting into an influencing position in thread or one weird power and town is messed up.

The problem with this line of logic is that if NIK is also a wolf like we suspect, there's nobody else that the wolves can push on legitimately without totally outing themselves.

I agree with MR/Radish here that today just seems meh. Alot of meta talk and what not which is great, but everyone came into the phase with a few people in mind and the direction hasn't shifted yet.

I guess this could also mean mafia aren't active or willing to throw a teammate under the bus, but more likely means we have 2 civs.

I'd also think once Jack was close to being lynched he'd out himself in scum chat to try and get saved, so maybe we should take another look at the players who did the later swing on NIK.

I don't like this defense. I disagree with this reasoning because if we can elim a mafia over a townie then that's good for town no matter who that mafia might be "siding" with. Also a "townsiding mafia" could be an important mafia PR. This doesn't come from a towny mindset.

I don't really want to elim someone who just isn't here and hasn't done anything since I actually don't think that group is as likely to be scum as the midposter group based on past experience with a similar sized game that had a lot of slankers. In that game literally all the slankers were town and scum easily won by just posting enough to get by. I don't think all the slankers are town here but eliming a slanker feels like a shot in the dark and is probably less likely to hit scum at this point.

Looking at Polypies' ISO it doesn't look good but it just looks like a bunch of nothing. Kinda feels rand so I don't really want to go on that wagon.
