I realize mafia is a really frustrating game guys, and this game has been pretty frought with tension. But in the end, just remember it is only a game as well play for a hobby, and no one here is actually an evil terrible person, and you all are truly lovely people. Let's try to keep from letting it become toxic.

End of Day 3 - Ring Toss Them Out

After the chaos at the grandstand, you needed a break. So after getting yourself a pork loin sandwich, a side of fries, and a soda, you sat down in the picnic bench style seating of the open-sided tent. From here you can eat your lunch and watch people pass by outside. You really do see some interesting people at a county fair. You start to become aware of a disturbance at the little ring toss booth across the way. You never understood why it was so popular, but people loved tossing the rings onto the top of a wooden cane, which they then won. Who needed those dumb canes anyway? Everyone had started yelling angrily at someone who was working in the booth. You realize they are saying it was them that had pushed poor Neon. Things escalate quickly and before anyone has time to stop and think things through, the dumb wooden cane prizes become weapons with which to beat poor Roxy. It didn't take long for the mob to dispatch them. You can't remember the fair ever being so bloody before.

Roxy was chopped, they were Vanilla Town. It is now Night 3 and the thread has been locked. I will be sending out the cards in the next few minutes. You have 23 hours (7:00 PM EST) to turn in your night actions. Night will end at 8:00 PM EST.

A ruckus erupts near the the funhouse. There is a group of people gathered around gossiping.

"They found a body in the mirrors."

"How did it happen?"

"I heard it was a broken neck."

"How brutal! And in the hall of mirrors, you said?"

"Yeah. I'd imagine he saw them coming but couldn't find the way out fast enough."

As you watch, they carry RondoDimBuckle's body from the funhouse and place him on a stretcher, before covering him with a sheet.

RondoDimBuckle has been killed. He was Vanilla Town. You have until the poll ends at 8:00 PM EST January 12 (48 hours) to choose who to eliminate.

An anonymous voice broadcast over the fairground PA:

changed my mind overnight and dont think sig is mafia anymore. i think sabi/creature/jack contains at least 2.

think the game is being deepwolfed by probably exactly tutuu/one other player but im interested in just voting out a wolf today regardless of anything else

Seanzie your appraisal of this gamestate is egregious. Bereft and SPF are the only people whose reads actually make sense. Why are you pushing into us 3 and not Jack/Tutuu/Wilgy and other actual wolfy players?

His read most likely exists because he's tactically choosing to play the wolf alignment by hard tunneling strong town players to run interference. He's been doing it to me for 2 phases and even made a post telegraphing that it was a valid tactic.

The game being hard does not automatically mean Bereft/SPF/Mac contains mafia. If us three were dead and Baudib, Alison and Rondo alive you'd probably have the exact same argument with different names.

i think that the game is hard, and the flips have proven to me that the game is hard less because the wolves are nefariously commandeering the gamestate and more because we have collectively been eating each other alive for the last several phases

my general impression is that this is the type of gamestate that is favorable to the wolves by default, as opposed to a gamestate that the wolves have needed to go out of their way to cultivate. so, i am particularly interested in identifying the people who were checked out and only interested in reinforcing the status quo throughout the last couple of days

Regardless of whether you like it or not, 2 and a half wolves are always in plain sight and the fact that you refuse to acknowledge this and instead push SPF with no justification other than "game hard" is bad. At least make a scumcase or something, or even better, explain why everyone else is town.

3 days have gone by.

Day 1 was all town wagons. I pushed a slanker over and spared Alison and Baudib who have both flipped town.

Day 2 the day was cut short by a card killing Alison before anything was able to be done.

Day 3 was a non day because the entire game including Roxy just slepwalked to that lim. It was a write off day for me because you and others treated me like hot confirmation biased garbage.

You are far more responsible for the gamestate than I am and are hard wolfsiding.
